Aaron was very nice and polite when we met him and everything seemed to be great. We have been living in our home for 5 days, and have already found multiple items Aaron missed during the inspection we hired him for.

We had a washer and dryer delivered, and the delivery person notified us they could not hook up the dryer because the dryer duct was taped together at the joints with duct tape. He said "this would not ever pass an inspection." Well, unfortunately it did. Aaron missed that fire hazard.

We are also having drainage issues with our kitchen sink. The pipes under the sink are leaking and the water backs up into the sink. Something that could've easily been caught if more time was taken to run water and the garbage disposal while Aaron was here.

We are now very concerned with what else Aaron may have missed. While we were here, Aaron was "finishing up" the inspection and it seemed very rushed and not thorough. That proved to be true. We are first time homebuyers, so we put our trust in Aaron for our inspection. I would not recommend this inspection company. Initially impressed, but now extremely disappointed and concerned.

Hunt Inspections was so pleasant, thorough, and communicative. Aaron was patient in explaining what he saw and his assessment of what it meant for the property owner. He instilled complete confidence in us to accept his evaluation. Overall, an excellent and worthwhile experience!

Aaron did a great job on an investment property we are under contract on. He was both non-alarmist and detail oriented-a perfect combination in my book. Not only did Aaron save me money by alerting me to a few big issues (which resulted in a seller concession at closing), he also possibly saved the lives of the current tenants by finding the furnace exhaust piping ajar. Aaron was incredible! We called on a Monday and he was there by Friday and even brought a plumber on short notice to do a borescope! He has sent everything back to us in a timely manner.

He was incredibly thorough and explained things he found as he went along and also reassured us everything would be in the report. He was knowledgeable in so many things, especially ones we hadn’t experienced previously i.e. septic tank and well water questions. And provided suggestions on how to improve the home as well as tips for re-selling the home in the future to keep the most value with some of the improvements if we chose to make them or not.

He was most excellent and will definitely use him in the future if we ever need an inspection!

Aaron does fantastic work! He took his time with his inspection of my home and was thorough and attentive through the whole process. He was patient, thoughtful, and responsive with me, a first-time home buyer who had a ton of questions during and after the inspection. And when I shared Aaron’s inspection report with friends who have more home buying experience than me to get their insights on what repairs to seek from the seller, several of them commented on how extensive and detailed the report was—one even said they wished their home inspector had been half as considerate as Aaron in the scope and focus of his work and report.

I’m also thinking about how responsive Aaron was when I first reached out to him. I recall that he was traveling and returned my first call while he was between airports making a connection. He went out of his way to make himself available, which was a huge help because we were working with a fairly tight timeline.

Overall, Aaron helped make my first experience buying a home a lot less stressful than it could have been. That’s something I deeply appreciate and I won’t soon forget it.
