Ascend Landscaping does awesome work!

We hired them for a project that involved completely removing our original backyard landscaping and replacing it with a new layout, and refreshing our front yard landscaping.

The front yard portion of the project involved replacing rock, sod and the sprinkler system, and adding a moisture sensor.

The backyard portion involved installing sod, rocks, trees, shrubs, a sprinkler and irrigation system with a moisture sensor, and a covered patio with a seat wall, custom paver surface, and recessed lighting.

Ascend Landscaping did a wonderful job on the entire project. We were impressed with the efficiency of their crews, which resulted in them completing all phases of the project early or on schedule. We also appreciated how quickly they returned to rectify anything that needed further attention. We also hired some of their subcontractors to do other work on our home.

Overall, Ascend Landscaping performed high quality work, and we had a wonderful experience with them. We have highly recommended them to many others who are considering landscaping, outdoor kitchen, patio, and pergola projects.

We had Luis come out to our home to give an estimate to a job we were needing done. Our property is bordered by rock. We needed all rock removed and new weed block laid down. Luis mentioned how the rock needed to be screened before it was placed on top of the newly laid weed block I order to prevent weeds from doing the same thing if we weren't going to get new rock. To start his crew showed up not even knowing what their job was, as they started removing weeds and rock from our front yard. I called Luis to let them know they weren't doing correct area. About 5 guys went to the back and started pulling weeds. They were only here for 45 minutes the first day. The 2nd day 1 man showed up all alone and worked by himself the entire day. Which he continued to do for the rest of the job. Once he was done I went out back to notice they didn't even touch every rocked area specifically the area around our shed. Luis had to send guys back out to correct the job and charged an additional $100 to the original quote. A few month later vine that was suppose to be removed started growing back and weeds started to grow through the rock. When I lifted the weed block cloth weeds are not growing through it they are growing on top. This company did not do what they said the job would entail. Not once was a screen brought in to screen the rock properly!!! It's almost as though the job was never done! And a complete waste of $$$!!!! I had mentioned in a text in July that the sifting wasn't done and that went ignored. But they sure wanted their check. So a few months after the job was complete I emailed 2 times about our complainants and concerns. Both went unanswered. So I sent a text...again unanswered. Conveniently, after telling them we are going to take further action I got a response! But not from Luis... from his daughter. Luis hasn't once addressed this compliant!!! Now they are saying they shifted the rock with shovels and rakes. That isn't what we were told would happen by Luis while he stood in our yard quoting us! And that they can't warranty the job because we reused the old rock. Funny because when the job was quoted Luis mentioned needing to sift the rock in order to prevent exactly what is happening in our backyard. And had we gotten new rock they could warranty it.

Sorry excuse for customer service and a hack job done in our yard! If a company was legit they would come out and see what we are claiming and try to make this right!!!!

Also, we had some friends using them at the same time as our job and they botched their concrete 2 times and haven't be able to correct their mistake since!! They got too far in ove r their heads to do a couple simple jobs!!! We will be pursuing further action against this awful company. STAY AWAY!!!!

They were supposed to come out on Friday and never did. I had to call them and they apologized and rescheduled for today. I even received a call from them yesterday as a reminder. Of course they didn’t show up today either and won’t answer the phone or call me back. I’ve used them for the past two years, but I guess it’s time to find a new landscaping company for my sprinkler needs.

This company has drivers towing trailers and driving recklessly through Denver and Aurora and in school zones during drop off. Wouldn’t hire a company with such disregard for safety.

We had this company come clean out gutters...they did the wrong house. After telling them they cleaned someones gutters for free, they came to our home and did the cleaning and provided pictures. We paid and they did a great job!

I've recently called to schedule them to come out to clean our gutters this season and have left several messages with no return calls. I'll try one more time...

Once they complete the job it was great! Cleaned the gutters well, cleaned the debris from the yard...I just wish they would respond!!

This company's employees think it's okay to block public alleys just because they were hired by a local government entity. They also think it's okay to block people's driveways and leave their stuff on people's private property. They are very rude to interact with too.
