So glad I found The Cooler Company! They were perfect from the gal who spent time with me answering questions & explaining about installing a new evaporative cooler on our roof thru the crew who did the installation! I never caught her name, i think it was Lara. She was very friendly, polite & spent time helping me understand what product & service I was getting. Her personality & knowledge of the product she was selling made me feel comfortable with letting The Cooler Company have my business. The crew doing the job was very friendly & personable, as well. I was impressed with getting a pic of Manuel in my text messages, so I knew who was coming. The crew was great, they got right to work, very professional, came with everything they needed to do the job, including the drop cloths to contain any mess from installing vent. They left my house as clean as they found it! Even the office people answering phones or calling me, was very polite & professional. Talk about a company that is truly all about the customer, The Cooler Company is it! I would give them 100 stars.

All around a great experience! Dave was able to come out same day for a appointment to get estimate for a furnace when ours broke during the first snow storm of the year. He took the time to explain all of the options to us and educate us on how to pick the right furnace for our house and comfort needs. It was also snowy during the install and initial quote, and everyone took care to remove their shoes and put drop cloths down to keep our house nice and clean. The price was very competitive, and the Amana furnaces they carry come with great warranties (10 years parts and labor). We were able to schedule install the day after we decided to use The Cooler Company. Gordy and the whole team were great and took the time to walk us through the new furnace how to use it and service it. They even fixed our humidifier for free. Furnace seems to work great, overall very happy with our experience so far!

I contacted The Cooler Company about an evaporative cooling system at my rental property. I had two rooftop coolers installed and couldn't be happier. Tonya arrived on time to give me my estimate. She was knowledgeable, freindly and I had an estimate within 15 minutes. It was a very fair estimate and I had no concerns about accepting their terms. I had a unique situation and they were able to accommodate every challenge. The crews assigned were freindly, efficient, and bottom line did an outstanding job. I will highly recommend this company to anyone needing their services. I thank you, and my tenants thank you too!

We went with this company for a new evaporative cooler. They were significantly more expensive, but promised that responsive care and always being around for questions following the install was one of the biggest benefits. Turns out that was a complete lie, and we've been stuck with a malfunctioning evaporative cooler and no response despite multiple calls and emails for two months.

When the cooler is working it works great, and the install team was very professional. But for the price, anyone in the Denver area would be better off going with a company that actually follows through with what they say and responds to issues after the install. I have yet to receive a response after detailed pictures of the problem, detailed explanations, and messages about how our dogs were stuck in our hot house for hours while we were away because of a malfunctioning cooler that they installed. They responded that a manager would get back to me the first couple of weeks of messages but have given up on even that small but meaningless courtesy.

Buyer beware: They'll do a good install but you're on your own to figure out any issues with their equipment that they brag so much about when it malfunctions a month into having it.

The Cooler Company replaced an existing, roof mounted, swamp cooler at my house this past May with a new Breeze Air unit. I wanted to wait until I used it for a season and turned it off before writing a review. I am very happy with all aspects of this purchase. Getting the estimate, installation, and the unit itself.
The estimator was a good communicator and I feel I was quoted a fair price. I purchased a Breeze Air swamp cooler and the Cooler Company installed two additional ceiling vents in my house. Which (at the time) made me eligible for a better Xcel rebate and now I have cold air in my bedrooms too.
The installation team was great. They had to cut a hole in my roof to accommodate the new unit. They assured me about the quality of job the person doing it will do. I have to say, after all the rain this past Spring and Summer I didn't get a drop of water. The rest of the installation seemed pretty standard. The crew answered any questions, cleaned up, and showed me how to use the new system. Likewise, they were on time for the installation.
The unit itself is amazing. It kept my 1800 sq ft house in the 60s when the temps were in the high 90s during the summer. The remote control for the unit is really impressive between operating and maintenance you can do with it. The Cooler Company has a online video on how to shut down your swamp cooler for the season. I watched it and turned mine off in approx 45 mins. It was simple with the instructions and I'm confident I did it properly.
I would recommend the Cooler Company to anyone and I am glad I found them. Btw, I received two other quotes and both charged more for less.

The Cooler Company replaced our evaporative cooler in 2021 and we were impressed with how efficient and professional they were. They clearly explained our options and the process. They were able to put in the new unit quickly and we've loved it.

When our furnace died last week, we decided to call The Cooler Company to repair it since we were so happy with their previous work. They spent a significant amount of time trying to diagnose the problem and were upfront that the cost of repair was going to be a significant portion of replacement - and still might not fix the problem. The furnace was 20 years old, so we decided to replace it - which they were able to do only two days later!

But I was most impressed by Gordie and Tyler when they came out with the new furnace. Tyler stopped to ask about an oddity, rather than just slapping the furnace in and going on their way. Turns out our house had no return air ducts and was in fact sucking in air from just above our gas water heater - a pretty scary thing! I was impressed again when Gordie called Grayson to get a second opinion on how best to fix the issue. I always say that only the smartest people know when to ask questions and ask for help.

In the end, we got a furnace that will work for our house, a return air supply and some safety issues addressed. These guys did a TON of work and insisted on making sure it was right!

We have a 50 year old boiler that heats our three bedroom condo. It has been producing less and less heat over the last few years, and several plumbing companies have glanced at it and said it had to be replaced. So I decided to have a bunch of people come out and give me estimates to replace it.
The Cooler Company came first. The gentleman they sent (I don’t like naming even wonderful people-privacy for them) came in and immediately made it clear that he knew his business, and oh boy can he talk boilers! Hired!
To my great relief, he has been able to repair the old workhorse for a small fraction of what replacement would have cost. Everybody understands the visceral terror of facing a $15-20k home repair.
What a gift it is to have found a company that is honest about what is needed.

Update: Just had Kevin back for maintenance. Things still look good. I told him that he can’t ever quit! The old girl is keeping us warm.
    Thank you!

I was fortunate enough to be referred to the cooler company by one of the larger heating and air companies in Denver. The Cooler Company was great to work with, Zach was prompt on getting me quoted for the job, the office staff were very friendly to schedule with, and the technicians that came out to do the work were phenomenal and professional. 5/5!

Sam Potter from the electrical division was fantastic. He helped us understand and fix our ongoing smoke alarm problems. He was very pleasant and a joy to have around.

From the in-home appraisal to the final installation, I was very satisfied. Cooler Company communicated with me every step of the process and the technicians were friendly and professional. Shout out to Manuel for fixing some storm damage to my shingles while installing my cooler. I have never had air conditioning and I am so excited! Not to mention, it was installed so quickly. Thank you!

Amazing company that cares to do, and get, the job done right! I’ve used them on now 3 different swamp cooler installs over the past 10ish years and have been very impressed with all 3. This last one was at my mom’s house. I received 3 bids to get the work done, just to do my due diligence, and of course landed on these guys/gals! Glad I did. This install was unique as my mom has a metal roof on her house and the layout of the house is very unique, not a straight forward install AND it needed to look amazing (my mom is picky picky). They NAILED it 100% and even painted up the flashing on the sides so it would blend into the roof. They also reused to color matched roof they had to remove to help conceal other portions of the flashing to make it look eye pleasing! The ceiling in my mom’s house, where the vents go, are wood… that was fun but they nailed that no issues. In one of the living rooms, where another vent went, the wall is some kind of stucco/fiberglass stuff that made that a tricky install as well. Once again NAILED IT!! The entire team, Tonya the “estimator” to Janelle the “coordinator” to Santana (not the guitar player) the “Muscle/Installer” and his crew did amazing! Very patient, very attentive and a solid team! Very much appreciate you all taking on this very special, and unique, install! Would I recommend this company and the team to others in the future? HECK YEAH!! Good job all, keep it up!

I purchased a breezair evaporative cooler from the Cooler Company 4 -5 years ago. I have had nothing but trouble. Not more than a month after it was installed the brand new pump went out. Then the real issues started. And each time the first thing was the service charge. The fan housing broke and of course not covered under the structural warranty. All in all I spent $1880 dollars one year. Then other issues came up. So I eventually rigged it up to work. I spent $4300 hundred dollars on this variable speed system that now only works at one speed. My advice don't buy one especially from this company.

Had Christian Meyer come out on July 10 to service and swap pads. He is/was very knowledgeable. There was a paperwork error and he brought the wrong pads. So we serviced the cooler in the meantime and came back on July 12 to swap out the pads. Took great pictures and had detailed notes for me to show the new buyers of my house and just went above and beyond. If you’re worried about getting a great Technician, ask for Christian! He was awesome.

Do NOT hire this company. They took advantage of my 80 year old neighbor who lives on a fix income. She paid 5k for evaporated cooler that does not work. Now she has no money and is stuck in a hot house. Whoever owns this company should be ashamed.

Posting for my parents in Golden who had a great install experience.

We would like to thank Hector Holguin and his team for an exceptional experience for us yesterday when they installed our swamp cooler. I rated him 5 stars on your email request today but somehow that doesn’t seem to be enough credit for all that they did for us. The entire team was very efficient and worked very well together. They were very polite and reassured us by their willingness to answer any and all questions we had for them. When the motor turned out to be defective Hector informed us that it would need to be replaced and then drove to the warehouse and secured a replacement motor. Then he drove back to our house and showed me the difference between the new motor being quiet and the defective one with a noticeable noise. He then installed everything necessary to complete the installation by himself as the other two members of his team had left when they learned the motor would need to be replaced. He stayed even longer to explain how to use the wireless controller and answer any questions. We couldn’t have asked for any more from these installers. The whole experience with The Cooler Co. has been wonderful from the initial appointment with Tonya to the well-organized paperwork/folder provided to me so that I could read up on the whole process. We couldn’t be more pleased! Thank you for everything!

I had an excellent experience with The Cooler Company team. From my initial consultation and estimate by Tonya, to Janelle walking me through next steps and what to expect on installation day, to the actual installation by Santana and his crew, the team was top notch in their expertise, the work they performed, and their customer service throughout. They achieved my house-cooling goals and the price was very fair. I highly recommend TCC if you have HVAC needs.

The cooler company came out and did my swamp cooler back in 2018. They’ve been nothing short of excellent in regards to being available years after they did my install and I later on had questions. There’s 1 specific person that is by far the best I’ve ever encountered in the world of customer relations & service, her name is Kay. Throughout the years I’ve needed to purchase accessories like pads, a float valve that I accidentally broke as well as getting answers regarding the remote control for my cooler unit. Kay always called back, always followed up and made sure that I kept cool in the summer, thank you Kay. You’re the best!! With Kay there The cooler company is….way cool!

We first tried to have them winterize our cooler after the first summer we had it installed. Since they couldn't schedule that for a month, they directed us to do it ourselves using their online videos. We did so and followed them exactly, but a valve broke over the winter. When calling to get it repaired, we were told it wasn't covered under warranty because the company didn't winterize for us. Additionally, it's a part that commonly breaks and we would need to drive into Denver to pick up a replacement part. We decided to order one online and fix it ourselves.

Additionally, when we had heavy rains, we had a leak through the roof due a spot they had not caulked around. After many phone calls, we were finally able to have them repair the leak and our ceiling.

We have no complaints about the product, only with the policies for warranty and some workmanship issues.

*I have edited my review as the tubing issue was resolved, and a result of the long run of the copper tubing and not the Cooler Company's fault.

We could not be happier with our new swamp cooler and the experience we had with The Cooler Company. Tonya was extremely helpful in explaining the process and getting us ready for the new unit. Luke and the entire installation team were amazing and so thoughtful with the entire process. Our house has never been below 80 during the blazing summer days but now it can get down to 65 without an issue! Clean, cold, humid air is a blessing here in CO! Thanks to the Cooler Company!

We love our new cooler that was installed by Ryan. Ryan was very friendly, professional and a great communicator! We had some unique challenges associated with our install, and he was able to offer some great solutions that worked successfully. Tonya was also great about getting us a very competitive quote, and made sure the installation happened quickly, and as it was supposed to. These guys were easy to work with and very meticulous. We highly recommend them!

Pros - The unit works well and the technicians who have come to our house have been very kind.

Cons - When we had the unit installed they advised us not to put a vent in our child's room because they said it would be too cold. They said that the vent in the hallway would be able to cool enough so that our kid's room would be more than cold enough. That has not been the case and our kid's room get so hot even with air blasting and the vent directed to his room. When they installed the unit they messed up our roof. I have a distinct memory of recovering from a c-section and nursing my newborn and water dripping on my head from the ceiling. We had to have them come out multiple times to fix it to the point where they gave us multiple free winterization and startups because they made so many mistakes. When we had the unit installed they told us that there are videos online for you to winterize and summer startup. We didn't use the videos for the first few years because of all the challenges that happened with the roof, they did all the maintenance for free so we never needed the videos. This years, 3 years in, is our first year needing to to do the summer startup ourselves. My husband looked at the videos online and the videos on their website and they don't match the unit that we have. So he called them and asked for a resource that matched our unit so he wouldn't make a mistake that voided our warranty. He called over and over to talk to someone and when he finally got to someone they said "there are videos online, I don't understand why you can't figure it out when other people have." Which is condescending and ableist. People have differing abilities and if something isn't clear it's imperative that you respond to them thoughtfully and not in a way that tries to paint them as an idiot. Long story short, the call ended with Ryan (who multiple times interrupted and spoke over my husband even though he did not interrupt her or speak over here. He was speaking with passion but he never yelled or swore during the conversation) saying that she won't be scheduling us for a service provider because she doesn't think we're a good fit for their company. After they put a leak in our roof, gave us horrible advice to not install a vent in our kid's room, and told us that there were videos to install our unit and those videos don't exist. So now I wonder what will happen if the unit starts leaking again? Will they not fix it because Ryan decided that my husband's frustrations weren't warranted so she doesn't want her company to work on the unit that we spend thousands of dollars to buy from them? I think that's absurd. As I mentioned the unit works well and the service techs are great. Use that information as you will to decide whether or not to work with them.
