We received friendly, professional service from Kolten & the team at Doctor Fix-It. Our electrical issues were solved and we have scheduled additional service for a humidifier installation. Doctor Fix-It is highly recommended!

Had an appointment on Monday 10/20 for a furnace check. This appointment had been scheduled for at least three weeks prior. They just called and have moved it out to Tuesday 11/25 saying that they have too many people calling in saying their furnaces aren’t working. I am a member paying my $20/month to get their best service first. I’m pretty sure that they are serving non paying people first to get them on the $20/month list. This is a sucky company who doesn’t treat their PAYING members first. Don’t sign up to get ripped off $20/month. Also just so you know, their rate for members to service a tankless water heater is $350. WOW! I can schedule it thru my HOA for $175. This company is really not worth it.

I had a problem with the hot water heater but when Junior Morales came to fix it, it was working fine. He was so kind, checked everything and said to let him know if I had any further issues. He was very polite and professional. I am so impressed with the promptness of service

Our technician Barry fixed a couple gas leaks and checked our sump pump to make sure that it was working efficiently. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to make sure everything was done accurately. I would definitely recommend Barry.

I’ve lived in my old house for 30 years and have had many plumbers over the years. My experience with Fernando and Dr. fix it was by far the best I’ve had, no exaggeration. Sometimes you just feel it when you’re dealing with an honest outfit. Rare nowadays.

Barry was so professional and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure having in my home and the quality of work done was beyond reproach. He addressed and corrected a safety concern I had with the exhaust/piping in the utility room. He also insured the water heater and plumbing was running right. Thank you Barry for the great work!!!!

Technician Fernando came out to clean our main drain from house to street. He was on time and very efficient. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and was very careful when bringing in his equipment to scope and clean our drain. The cost was very reasonable. We would definitely use their services again!

Fix-it plumbing was great! I called around to get some estimates and they were the ones we chose. Walked me through the entire process and the technician Fernando they send was wonderful! And walked my grandparents though everything, the customer service was attentive and great would definitely recommend.

Bobby was great. He was able to get there early, which worked great for me. He was friendy, personable, easy to talk to, and comfortable to be around. He was able to quickly assess the situation, provide a quote, and headed out to get what he needed for the job. Needed repair on my Navien tankless combi boiler water heater (a bit of a specialty task / need). I consulted Navien's website first for service providers (they were not listed there), but consulted BBB (Better Business Bureau) and did a quote request (the request went out to a number of companies)

Based on my (detailed) request, I would have appreciated if they said they don't specialize in this work, however they were did schedule a consult quickly. (Was told I would not be charged)

The tech that came out, Barry, was a little, curt, shall I say. After coming in and only posing the question that my issue . . with my water heater, might be . . with my faucets? In any event, he casually mentioned that there would be a charge for troubleshooting (I understood that would be for a future visit). It wasn't until after a few minutes that I asked to clarify and he said the charge was for today - $139). At this point, I didn't feel comfortable just throwing him out, but was angry and frustrated that I felt duped). He did troubleshoot and was closer to what the issue was (I'm writing after my repair is completed - by another company), so I appreciated the due diligence. However, after when he was going to leave, I asked if I could be billed later or pay later so I could clear up the charge - at this point he was very adamant and required payment. Again, back to feeling angry and frustrated. This is not the taste you want customers to have.

I did contact and clear the charge with the company, so I appreciated them in handling that.

The other thing in the quotes was how vague they were - they didn't detail between parts and labor, which I didn't care for.

Quick response and quote, and there appeared some knowledge by the tech, however due to the attitude of the tech and the issue with charge really keeps me from recommending in the future. I suppose if you're aware, you might look into them for repair / plumbing needs.

Miguel and his helper were very professional and respectful. They replaced my furnace in a very timely manner with a very clean install. Thanks again.

I had a coupon for a drain cleaning so called to schedule an appointment. What really blew me away was that within an hour of my call, they scheduled Fernando to come out, he got to my house, inspected the drain with an camera, and cleared the drain. He was very courteous and informative of the work he was doing. I was impressed with the entire operation and definitely recommend them to others!

Looks a little different than his picture but we were very thankful and blessed that Dave showed up to fix the thermostat that was only a couple years old and was covered under the warranty. Was happy to get warm after 24 hours as seniors. Was a little touch and go throughout the day because everything became delayed for hours and I wasn't sure if somebody was going to show. Was very happy when we saw Dave at the door. Thanks again for your help!

I had a very disappointing experience with this plumbing company today.
To start, the technician admitted he didn’t have the right size wrench to access the main line in our basement, which was already concerning and wonder why he didn’t have the right tool’s to do a job.

As I started to head upstairs, I suddenly heard footsteps in the kitchen — only to find a second technician had let himself into our home without knocking or ringing the doorbell!! I was shocked and highly upset.
I immediately let him know that entering someone’s home uninvited is completely unacceptable, rude, and disrespectful.

His response was a casual, “Sorry, my bad,” which only added to my frustration. He seemed completely unfazed by how inappropriate the situation was. Obviously, he was brought up with no manners or morals or integrity.

I reminded him that we have a sign posted indicating we are firearm owners, and had my husband been home, the situation could have escalated quickly I reminded him that there’s the make my day law!!

Additionally, the same tech made an offhand remark about replacing the pipes when the kitchen was remodeled — a comment that was not only unsolicited but felt dismissive of the current issue.

They claimed to have run a line through the pipe beneath our kitchen sink, but as shown in the photos I’ve attached, they left a crack in the pipe that resulted in water squirting out and flooding the cabinet below.
When I asked why the issue wasn’t properly addressed, I was told it was because the piping was galvanized, and they didn’t want to risk damaging it further. If you don’t want issues or breakage like they left our pipes do not contact this company!! What a joke!!

In my opinion, this company demonstrated poor professionalism, lack of proper tools, and very little regard for customer service or safety. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your plumbing needs.

Dr Fix-it never disappoints! I’ve used them many times in the past and they always do a great job! This time it was for a kitchen sink repair and they came through again with fine work. Barry the tech is very personable and experienced and explains everything thoroughly and works methodically until the job is done. I trust Dr Fix-it and will continue to use them for any repairs that may come up at my home. Thanks, Barry

Without going into the long story, I was told my heater wouldn’t reach my set temperature because my system was too small and I needed to upgrade it, which would’ve cost $10k or more. Refusing to believe it, I used AI and discovered the dirtiest filter I’ve ever seen (tech told me that my filter wasn’t dirty, and that a dirty filter wouldn’t be the cause), which also contributed to a dirty flame sensor which I took out and cleaned myself. Heater has been working perfectly ever since.
Always get a second opinion, or trust your gut.
