It was necessary to replace my HVAC system, and Tyler was one of the six people at Tipping Hat that assisted throughout the project. As were the others, Tyler was incredibly professional and competent and explained things to me so that I could understand what was going on. I have so much respect for him and the Tipping Hat company and technicians who helped me so much in This necessary work. I’m so grateful for the integrity and honesty of Tyler and his colleagues.

I had my HVAC cleaned and serviced by Tipping Hat Services on a Friday, and the technician failed to turn the system back on in the crawlspace. As a result, I went three days without heat in the middle of winter. When I called, the company was unwilling to send someone back promptly and said I’d have to wait until the following Tuesday for another appointment just to have it turned back on.

To make matters worse, when I requested a copy of the invoice three days after service for an inspection requirement, they said they had no record of it in their system and it could take up to two more weeks to provide it. In 2026, that explanation is hard to believe.

Going without heat due to a preventable oversight and then being told there’s no record of the service is extremely concerning. I expected much better communication and accountability.

Chris is one of the best plumbers that I have ever encountered. I have had a lot of plumbing issues over my life. No one matches Chris. Tipping Hat is a great company. I appreciate their professionalism and they are always on time.

Everyone I interacted with at Tipper Hat was very pleasant. They tried all they could to get the job done for as little $ as possible, and when it came time for the upsell they weren't pushy at all. Heck I probably woyld have taken it in more financially stable times.

Initially, we had this outfit in to inspect a furnace that hadn't been serviced in many years. Their tech discovered that the heat exchanger was failing. It was more economic to replace the furnace than to replace the heat exchanger.

They were able to schedule the furnace replacement at our convenience. On the scheduled day, their crew arrived promptly and began work immediately. They were courteous, professional, and respectful of the property. They encountered a few surprises, but were still able to complete their work in a reasonable amount of time, and clean up after they were done.

Kudos to Steven, the original tech; Roman, Tyler, and Kyle, the installers, and Billy, the ops manager. We would use this company again.

I can’t say enough good things about Vasile who put in my furnace and heat pump. From start to finish, he worked nonstop with incredible focus and professionalism. The attention to detail really stood out—he made sure everything was done right, cleaned up thoroughly, and didn’t leave a single piece of trash behind. It’s rare to see that level of dedication and pride in work these days. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for top-quality service!

Tipping Hat took care of replacing my hot water heat! Of course it went out during the cold! They were prompt at their response and started working the next morning. They cleaned up everything, also. We started with Bill to clear our floor drain, he was pleasant, professional, and a joy to talk to. Then Meho came and ran the camera thru to assure the drain was clear only to find we had a problem.
He worked with us on what was going on and what was needed. We felt very comfortable with how he explained everything that was going on. He got a crew to our house and they got everything done quite quickly as promised.
Our experience with Bill and Meho was fantastic. We will call on them again.
We also got a new hot water heater installed in place of our 26 year old one and that was a really quick service.

The Tipping Hat team did a great job with diagnosing problems with our current furnace in a standard pre-winter furnace inspection and we were really impressed with how quickly they moved a team in to completely remove our old furnace and a/c and replaced it with a heat pump/furnace combination. Completed the work the next day, kept us well informed as work progressed and did a very professional job. Also did a great job explaining how everything is supposed to work. We had them install a whole house water softener during this project as well.

There are only 3 reasons why we couldn't give them a 5-star rating:

1) Although it appeared to be working when the team left, the heat pump had issues immediately that prevented it from working and needed to be addressed. I didn't like that we had to make another service appointment based on their availability for correcting this issue, I felt that they should come out immediately and get it working, especially for the price we paid. However, they were able to come back out within 48 hours - fortunately, it was fairly warm in October so there weren't any issues.

2) Price - expensive, but they do quality work and would still recommend Tipping Hat.

3) Final City Inspection Closure - I feel a little like they've moved on since in their mind the installation is complete, their fee has been paid. However, my understanding was that a City Inspector still needs to come out and sign off on the final installation. We have contacted them as they requested to coordinate this final part of the process with no response. If our timing assumption is incorrect or there is another issue preventing us from wrapping this up I would understand, but after reaching out to them numerous times, we have had no response to indicate what, if any, issues are causing this delay. It's been over a month since the completed installation.

They were able to respond promptly. They showed me the problem and offered solutions! They got the job done quickly! We couldn't be happier that we found Tipping Hat!! A big 5 stars to Bill for his quick response!! Everyone I was in contacted with has been fantastic!

The crew from Tipping Hat did a great job installing our new furnace. The guys were friendly and professional and easy to visit with. The office staff kept us well informed of the install date and photos with names of everyone involved. Thank you for a great job.

The entire team was professional, experienced, courteous, and knowledgeable. Tipping Hats prices are middle of the road, however due to the high-quality of craftsmanship, I found great value in their services. Initially, they replaced my entire HVAC unit and now I’m having them back out to do some miscellaneous electrical outlets and things that I’ve needed in my house for many years. I’ve experienced lower priced companies over the last several decades and have received lower quality work. Thus when I find quality I take the time to give a review and I’m a big fan of Tipping Hat!!

We selected the premier package to replace our entire home, residential HVAC system. The job took nearly the entire workday to complete, however, there was a complete team working to get the installation finished. There were no delays or situations where there was a lack of proper equipment. All of the installers were courteous, professional, and were able to answer every single question I had.

I called about snaking a line I was given a price which was reasonable. I was never told about the $49 dollar charge to just come out and look. The Tipping Hat employees were trying to up charge me on everything. I told them I already knew how the line was plugged and which line. They said they would need to remove the toilet to snake one line and to send a camera down. This was definitely an up charge. The last company I used was able to clear the line without removing my toilet and sending a camera down. They were nice guys but I just felt there was a lot of talk about replacing things that did not need to be replaced. In addition, they did not clean up after themselves in the bathroom.

My whole experience with Tipping Hat has been great - I had a heat pump and water heater installed. Michael was very helpful and professional. Pedro came out to adjust the heat pump water heater. He figured out why the water coming out of the faucets wasn’t hot enough (not a water heater problem), fixed it, and I have great hot water now. Very personable, informative and helpful.

The whole team over at Tipping Hat were nothing less than amazing. Everyone was very communicative, and explained the issues and the process of completing the repairs in very easy-to-understand terms, so that I could make a well informed decision. All of the work was done in a timely manner, and the crew were incredibly professional and kept me updated regularly. Chris, Josh, Travis and Will were very personable and were able to easily work with my schedule, even with snowy weather occuring.
I can't thank them enough for the fantastic job they did, and I highly recommend them for all plumbing needs!

These guys are the best. Honest. Hardworking. Patient and got things done before the extreme cold weather came in. Very helpful and accommodating. They spent all day trying to fix our furnace, but after 26 years, it was finished, instead of charging us for all the work they did all day long. They wiped the slate clean and sold and installed a brand new furnace by Lennox with air conditioning. Got a really good deal. We are extremely happy!

My wife and I really enjoyed our experience with Tipping Hat, as much as anyone can enjoy addressing HVAC issues. I initially reached out for a home humidifier, but thankfully they found a large safety issue with our old system. Sidney walked us through every step of transitioning to a new system and was empathetic to our situation. He never pressured us and gave us other options than overhauling the whole system. After making that decision, Raul and his team quickly installed a new system and was very respectful of our home. He walked us through the new system, after completion, and we are extremely happy with our decision. We would highly recommend Tipping Hat.
