HVAC reviews in Denver, Colorado

Absolutely love Ronnie, the owner of this company. He came out to do a free AC inspection which also included a check of the furnace. He pointed out several problems that were going on with the furnace that impacted the efficiency of the AC unit. He also checked the water heater and all the connections. He fully explained everything to me and I could see that he wasn't trying to pull the wool over my eyes. My furnace is almost 10 years old and ready to go. He could do some fixing up, but it would be wiser to put that money towards getting a new furnace. He gave me quite a good deal on everything I needed. I got a great vibe from Ronnie and believe he is truly an honest person. I would highly recommend him if you are interested in having your furnace, air conditioner, and water heater checked out!

This is a terrible contractor.
On November 2nd. 2022 I accepted a quote from Ronnie of Jurassic Air for the installation of an AC unit at my sons house and with the understanding that the installation would take place before year end. Ronnie required a $2,000 down payment so that he could go ahead and order the equipment « right away ».
Every excuse under the sun was used to delay the installation, it was too cold, too rainy, Ronnie was away…. Long story short 7 Months later, in May I still did not have my unit installed. The new excuse and was: « the unit is on back order and there is no alternative option available…. » Needless to say that if Jurassic/Ronnie had been true to their word, my deposit would have been used to purchase the equipment back in November.
Finally after countless phone calls I was told in July that my deposit would be refunded « in the next 30 days ».
In October 2023 I was still waiting for my check. Refusing to let go in the face of blatant dishonesty I hired a lawyer to put Jurassic Air on notice we would file suit if the deposit was not refunded by month end.
On November 8, 2023 over 12 months after I placed my order I finally got my money back. I am convinced this would not have happened without the intervention of a lawyer. This does not take away the fact my son spent the summer 2023 without AC as we could not commit to another vendor until this matter was resolved.
When Ronnie aggressively pitches his business to you and requests a deposit, be very, very careful. There are many reputable HVAC installers to choose from in the Denver area. -
After booking a furnace replacement with another company and having the install postponed 2 times the last being 3 days later .
I called Jurassic and at 9am the next day I met with Ronnie and 2 hours later I had his team doing the install with same upgraded furnace at a much lower price. Thank you Jurassic great service and I would recommend your company to family and friends for sure. 👍🏻 -
I had Jurassic Air and Ronnie in my home years ago when my furnace stopped to work.
He quickly help me and gave me a good price, comminng even late in the night to assist me.Was in a middle of the winter and I did not have any help. The job was done in a few hours.
After five years Ronnie came to check my furnace because I had 10 years warranty on the good deal he gave me 5 years ago.
He also discovered a problem on my roof.
He fixed this and changed my old fashion water heater with a brend new thankless, modern water heater and we also agreed to changed the AC for a bundle price and good deal.
He also solved and repaired an old problem with my sewer on my wall and under my kitchen sink.
Very happy with my updates, my energy bill it is half now compare with last year.
Wonderful job , fast and professional , good team work .Thank you Ronnie, Adam and Armando!!!!
I will recommend you to everyone need this kind of help!!!

Ronnie and his team moved our furnace and installed a tankless water heater. When the water heater began leaking within a month of installation we attempted to get ahold of Ronnie for over 4 weeks. He wouldn’t respond to emails, phone calls or text messages. Once we finally got in contact with him we requested that he personally fix the issues (not one of his employees) and that we have a county inspector come out when he was finished to assess the work to ensure it was to code. He refused after more delayed contact and several unprofessional phone calls. We were forced to have other companies come out and fix the issues that Ronnie’s team caused. The HVAC and plumbing companies that fixed our problems said the work Jurassic/Accuracy did was some of the worst they’d ever seen, fraught with safety issues, done incorrectly and incompletely. They even took photos for a weekly safety meeting to show what not to do. We found out Ronnie was using unlicensed electricians and unlicensed plumbers to do the work and never pulled any permits - the companies that fixed all the work confirmed this with the city. I would caution anyone looking to use this company. Ronnie is negligent and unprofessional at best.

My heat would not work on a very cold day and Ronnie made it to my house to evaluate the issue within an hour. He gave us a temporary fix that day and a permanent fix next day. Adam and Jesus did quick work, professional, and courteous. Renee on the phones is always so helpful. Thanks all!

I had such high hopes. Ronnie installed a furnace for me. Prior to doing so, I had read some negative reviews, especially regarding permitting and licensing, so I asked if he pulled required city permits on his furnace installs. He looked me in the eyes and said yes. Six months later, after numerous calls to Jurassic Air asking about inspections that never happened, he has never responded. In checking with the City of Denver today, there was no permit pulled for a furnace installation. As a result, I must find another contractor who would be willing to check the work and certify, all at extra $ to me. My mistake for being trusting.

UPDATE: You will see below that they 'responded'. They would rush right out and call me to make it right. Been over a week....no call!
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY – THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!
I’ve worked with Jurassic for over six years, and while they used to be reliable, this business has completely fallen apart. After a routine inspection in August 2024, they told me I needed a new line set for my AC. Given our long history, I (foolishly) paid them upfront. HUGE mistake.
Fast forward to March 2025—seven months later—and the job is still not done. They’ve shown up four times, always unprepared: too few workers, missing equipment, blaming the weather, you name it. Excuse after excuse.
Most recently, they promised to finish the job on Monday—no show. Rescheduled for Tuesday—no show. Now, shocker… they’ve stopped returning my calls.
This is blatant fraud. I wouldn’t be surprised if they shut down, file bankruptcy, and pop up under a new name just to scam more people. If your HVAC company has a Ronnie (or Adam) working with Renee or Amanda—RUN. They are not here to fix your AC; they are here to steal your money.
Save yourself the nightmare and go with someone else. ZERO STARS. -
I had the most empowering experience with Jurassic Air today! Ronniea and Andrew were absolute professionals, inspecting my furnace and water heater with precision and explaining everything in a clear, concise manner. Their respect and courtesy were truly inspiring, and they did an outstanding job cleaning my furnace. I'm thrilled to have scheduled an air duct cleaning and enrolled in their three-year maintenance agreement program!

Ronnie was very responsive when he was selling us the hvac system but since then, it's like pulling teeth to get them to respond. Service calls and routine maintenance checks have to be reschedule several times with no shows and no calls. Very frustrating and I can't wait for our two year service contract to be over. Do not count on these people. The front office person, Renee, tries hard but she can't count on her people to be where they say they'll be.

Ronnie takes time to explain, answer questions, and make sure I am comfortable with my decisions. Jurassic Air has always followed through with what needs to be done at a price I can afford. I have had a swamp cooler, furnace and now a tankless water heater scheduled to be put in. Ronnie, Adam, and Jesus have worked hard and accurately with true concern for me. The ladies in the office have always answered questions and shown a sincere caring for me and my needs. I have known this company for several years and I would highly recommend them to help you with your heating and cooling needs!

Do not trust this company and please beware. I had Ronnie install my furnace back when he was Accuracy Heating and Cooling. During his maintenance check this year he told me I had water getting into the furnace and flue and a rusted exhaust pipe on the roof causing issues that could void the warranty and cause problems with the unit. He told me we needed to replace the the roof jack and flue from roof to furnace. I trusted him because he completed work for us before, so paid him $4,000 upfront to get the parts and receive a discount. 30 days later and he has not returned calls or emails to complete the work and will not respond to refund requests. I also had a reputable HVAC company come out to tell me the work doesn't need to be completed and their are no issues with the unit. He presents himself very well, but do not use this company or definitely pay him anything up front.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Jurassic Home Services completely scammed my 85-year-old grandparents out of $5,000. The man came out to their home, wrote up a quote, and pressured them into paying upfront. Once he had the money in his pocket, he disappeared and never completed the work he promised.
This is not just bad business — this is outright fraud. Preying on elderly people who trust that they are dealing with a legitimate service provider is disgusting and predatory. My grandparents were left confused, heartbroken, and financially devastated.
We’ve called repeatedly, tried to get answers, and demanded either the work be completed or a refund. Every single attempt has been ignored or brushed off. The level of dishonesty and lack of accountability here is shocking. They knew exactly what they were doing, and it was a calculated scam.
Jurassic Home Services doesn’t just provide poor service — they take advantage of the most vulnerable members of our community. This kind of behavior should be criminal, and honestly, they deserve jail time for what they’re doing to elderly families.
I strongly warn everyone: do not let these people into your home, and do not give them a dime. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the betrayal. They are con artists masquerading as a business. -

Leo is a life saver and very knowledgeable.

well, I couldn't review how good their work is, as they don't even bother to call back.... called 3 times, left message with the the person answering the phone and she told me they will call me back... I guess not. I have $3k of equipment to buy and I guess I'll buy it online elsewhere....
-
It has been years since I used the service but they did a wonderful job and I had a lot of work to do on my pump for my wellI actually just rent commended them again today and it's been at least 15 years since I use them they were friendly they were very fair in their pricing and they did quality work

I know not everyone wants to read a long review, so I will sum it at the start. I recommend seeking out all other options and exhausting them before using this company. In the end, the company is run wickedly and without integrity.
They ignored all requests for what I wanted them to do and caused tens of thousands of dollars in damages to my property (you can no longer even get a permit to drill a well, and if you can, it’s ~$15,000, and then the damage to my landscaping from not having a functional irrigation system). They then charged hundreds of dollars, and when I pushed back and questioned them, I was threatened with a doubling of the bill, plus legal action.
