My water heater had been leaking for a while and needed to be replaced. In addition, it was over 20 years old. I called several reputable plumbing contractors and, to my surprise, none would service my area in southern Douglas county. I finally called Quality First and was relieved that they serviced my area. The service technician, Ray, had over 30 years experience. I was amazed that he could remove my old water heater, and install a new one, in only a couple hours. Ray was very professional, very polite, had a kind demeanor, and was extremely knowledgeable. He was fast, efficient, but also very neat and organized. He answered all my silly questions, and was happy to explain everything he was doing and why. Ray did an excellent job on the installation and we couldn’t be happier with our new water heater. Very unreliable!!
I took their elite membership as they gave me a deal, started using their service. Then I had a water leak in my house and requested an emergency appointment. They gave a 4 hour window but never showed up.. Totally disappointed.. Will cancel and never use their service again

Julian Martinez with Quality First Plumbing/ Allen Services did an amazing job checking out my furnace and A/C. He's very knowledgeable and able to talk you through everything he's doing with each step. He was very thorough and checked everything. He was also great with my crazy dogs and kids. My technician Carson was so prompt and helpful. I think the company in general was really responsive which I appreciated but he went above and beyond. He worked through my broke sink issue and was informative along the way. He was extremely polite and efficient. I would absolutely ask for him again!

I’m very happy with Quality First. The person scheduling the appointment was helpful, pleasant and was able to move up my time.
Chris showed up on time Sunday at about -5º. We went over the fun project ahead. He went with me to Lowes to get the right faucet. Chris put in a new main shutoff valve as the old one was getting iffy. He replaced all of the old valves under the sink and installed the new faucet. As with most home projects there’s always one rusted nut or drip that gives you fits. Chris had a few but with a smile he made sure everything was right and tight before he left at 7:45 pm. He took all of the old faucet parts and hoses. I had him give me an estimate on a new water heater, I’m thinking that's next.

These guys were great! They sent out Chris to switch out a hot water heater after an existing system went bad in my unit at Kent Place Residences. Probably one of the nicest guys ever and did an amazing job. It literally looked all shiny/new and they were great about keeping everything clean. Afterwards Chris was super friendly and described how everything worked, which was very appreciated. Would definitely recommend.

Great service for a big project. Everyone was super nice. Area where they worked was left clean and neat. I already recommended them to a friend. Would use again. I want to add that Ryan has gone above and beyond in helping me with everything, even after the job was finished.

Michael was polite, professional, & resolved the issue with my water heater. He was able to get the pilot light ignited (after several failed attempts on my behalf). He allowed 30 minutes to assure the hot water returned. A+ to Michael & ty! My only rant is having to wait 4 days for service.

Thomas and his associate showed up on time, immediately put on shoe covers to protect my carpet and were professional courteous and helpful!! Plus, because my system basically was able to start up and didn't need a repair they gave me a deal on the service call and didn't charge me a full diagnostic due to my system being in working order. Who does that nowadays? HONEST Contractors-- that's Who! I'm having them come back because he also immediately saw that the pipe venting the top of my gas water heater was done incorrectly by whoever installed it And immediately gave me a quote that I could look at and approve. this company is not only concerned with fixing what's broken, but they are concerned with your safety and with correct installation that meets all applicable State Building codes. I will be using them in future for every service I need that their company provides. THANK YOU!!

I had a very frustrating experience with Allen Plumbing. I initially called and gave a very detailed explanation of my issue, which involved a jetted tub repair. I specifically confirmed that they had certified plumbers who could handle this type of work. I was told yes and an appointment was scheduled.

On the day of the first appointment, they sent an electrician instead of a plumber, as requested. He was just as confused as I was and confirmed he was not the right person for the job. When I followed up with the company, they did not acknowledge their mistake and instead told me—rudely—that the soonest they could send the correct person was five days later.

On the day of the second appointment, which was scheduled for the morning, I never heard from anyone. When I called near the end of the schdeuled window, it took a long time for them to even find my account. I was told I would “get a call from dispatch at some point today.” As of 3:00 PM, no plumber has arrived and I have not received any update or ETA.

Between the scheduling errors, lack of accountability, poor communication, and unprofessional responses, I have very little confidence that this company can competently or reliably fix my issue. I would not recommend based on this experience.

Do yourself a favor and call someone else. The first time I had them out, they were great. Talked me into a service program and everything. Fixed my leaking toilet no problem. They second time I called them for a leaking spigot. I had a plumber door to access it from the inside and asked if they could cut the hole to fit the door. They said that they don't do that and destroyed my sheet rock to the point of needing to replace the wall to accommodate the plumber door. They cut the hole that big. The area they needed to work on the spigot was 1 foot square. The hole i got is 2 foot, jagged, semi circular. They looked around and told me i needed an expansion tank on my water heater. Got it. It was pricey but they said i needed it. They said nothing about needing a water pressure regulator also. So a few months goes by and my 2 year old hot water heater and the new expansion tank are ruined. They come out and tell me that if i had a water pressure regulator that wouldn't have happened. So i purchased a new water heater with the water pressure regulator and another new expansion tank. Very expensive. Since they were here, i asked them about a slow drain i had in my laundry room. They snaked it for an hour which put a hole in my pipe. Then they charged me almost $500 to put an outside patch on it. Literally put a film and some ring clamps over the hole they caused and charged me. Plus a "tight place" fee. Winter came and we're in the service program so they came to look at my furnace for the season. Knew nothing about my furnace. Fast forward a year and the new hot water heater isn't working and they have no one that can come look at it for another week. It's under warranty but i have to call someone else because they aren't available for a week. I didn't complain when any of this happened. I'm telling you now so you can find at good plumber or hvac and not deal with what i have been through with them.

NO QUALITY CONTROL!!! We had 2 technetium’s come out yesterday. One to diagnose why out furnace would not stay running and one for an estimate on a new furnace. We were told our furnace was working fine (and charged almost $300 with the BSP Family Plan). One of the techs left the gas off and we woke up to a 61 degree house this morning. NO QUALITY CONTROL!!! We had an issue earlier this year with our swamp cooler and the tech not tightening the bolts on the pulley after replacing the belt. NO QUALITY CONTROL!!!

9-23-25 Kris did a great job as usual. He was very efficient and knowledgeable, and made good recommendations for items that needed to be repaired and replaced, which he did.

Patrick did a great job explaining the necessary maintenance on our Breezair evaporative cooler. He thoroughly inspected the unit, and everything was in good shape.

Tanner was very helpful and thorough. We appreciated having him come out to help figure out what was going on with a bad water leak.

I’m so glad I found Blue Sky. I have an older home that needs a lot of TLC. Vince was great and got the furnace all tuned up and ready for winter and answered all of my other random HVAC questions.

The service was really great, but was given a much lower dollar amount for furnace maintenance when I reserved appointment. The Tech showed his Mgr the quote and they made good on it.

Steven has been starting up our evaporative cooler in the spring and winterizing it in the fall since 2023. He is very professional and does great work! We would highly recommend Steven and Blue Sky!

Jaden was good to work with - not only was he friendly and easy to have in the house, but he also explained everything clearly, and educated us about why he was making certain adjustments.
It was definitely a positive experience.

Blue sky came to help us out with several issues we were having with old water lines and sewer pipes. Josh and Chris did an awesome job. The work they did was top notch and they really went above and beyond to work around some tough framing restrictions. Everyone at blue sky was super nice and helpful, and the prices were reasonable. Very happy with our service!
