Window Installation reviews in Denver, Colorado

Egress replace two of my (very) rusted window wells in fall 2024. Their prices were competitive. Their service was great, clear communications and great work.

Egress, Inc replaced window wells in our 54 year-old home and installed their clear Lexan® window well covers. The end results are beautiful, the work was very well organized and the cleanup was excellent!
-
They did a good job. Everyone involved worked hard to insure the job was done properly. If needed I would hire this company again. Great job.

Egress, Inc. did an awesome job of replacing our old wooden window wells with modern steel models. The new window wells are more secure, better equipped to withstand Colorado erosion and takes less space than the old ones. Chad (estimator), Brandon (site leader), Aaron and Cris did a phenomenal job with our house. They were professional, hardworking and very skilled. Awesome job by the crew...highly recommend Egress! A++

Oh, egress Inc. I wish every company was like yours. We've had three egress windows installed and windows replaced in the entire basement. They worked kindly and patiently with a difficult situation we were going through. Chad is a great estimator, very patient and kind, knowledgeable and responsive to questions. And accessible by phone when you need it! The ladies in the office are amazing. Like mind readers. If you call them about your account, they know who you are, you're not just a number. Jen, the scheduler is on top of things. They have a separate person coordinating utility checks and she called us multiple times to make sure that everything was in order. The installation crew is respectful and they clean up afterwards. When I called to get documentation for energy efficient windows for taxes, they had it to me within 24 hours with nothing missing. I never met any of these ladies in person but they were so personable! I can't find a single fault with these guys. The prices you pay are DEFINITELY worth the peace of mind you'll find with this company. My only regret is that this company is not a place I can patronize weekly! I name drop Egress, Inc, whenever I hear someone needs a similar service. We chose to leave our windows unframed for special detail since the basement was unfinished, but the new windows let in so much light and so much less dust.

I highly recommend Egress Inc. for anyone needing metal window wells installed. They recently completed work on our home, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, responsible, and technically confident.
The new window wells have not only enhanced the safety and security of our home but have also significantly improved our ability to handle potential flash flooding. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail were exceptional, and it’s clear they take pride in delivering quality work.
If you’re looking for a team that’s reliable, skilled, and dedicated to doing the job right, Egress Inc. is the company to call. They did an awesome job, A++ -
We had a great experience working with Egress, Inc. We had two old wooden window wells replaced with steel. One was over-sized. They installed them in one day, added rocks to the bottom, made sure the sand (that we are built on) was tightly tamped down, and cleaned up so you'd never know they were there. Beautiful!

from quote to finished product, the people were friendly and easy to deal with. The end result was exactly what we expected. Install crew were very fast and efficient. They spent the time to be sure that all the penetrations into the house were properly sealed

I used Egress on my former home and was so satisfied with their work that i hired them for my new-to-me home. Once again they cam through with flying colors. Everything was done the way i wanted AND the way they promised. I feel very confident and comfortable recommending their services - new window wells, new covers and replacing the dirt that had sunk around my home (as they often do in Colorado!). They did a great job, efficient and cleaned up after themselves! Thank you, Egress!

I have had only positive experiences with Egress Inc. They replaced a window well and had 4 window well covers manufactured and installed. All work was exceptionally well done. When one of the covers was noted to have imperfections upon install they ordered a replacement. They also returned to realign access to a sprinkler turnoff and no billing took place until I was fully satisfied. I highly recommend this company. There may be less expensive options out there but the quality of their work is of the highest order.

They were fantastic and honest from start to finish. I appreciate all the help they provided and the professional nature. The window wells turned out great!

Had several egress windows installed, several replacements and all new window wells and covers. This company is amazing top to bottom. From the very first call they have the friendliest knowledgeable people in the office. They were highly familiar with my windows just based off the location and year of my house. Incredibly timely and informative estimate. Amazing coordinating every little detail/inspection that needed to happen. Fine craftsmanship on concrete work and window install. Went above and beyond to help me with my specific project needs beyond what I would have ever expected of anyone. Wouldn’t even consider using another window company besides them again

Great service! I needed one of my window coverings replaced with a custom order and they made it happen fast and with beautiful results.

Having our egress window installation performed by Egress Inc. was a flawless experience from start to finish. The sales rep was great & office staff was friendly but the install crew is really who made the experience an A+. Juan and his team over-communicated, were unbelievably clean, and did fantastic work finishing the inside and outside of the window. We’ve had a lot of work done to our house over the years and I can honestly say I’ve never had a team work faster, harder, or communicate better. I highly recommend this company.

They did a great job on the egress windows. Work was clean, fast, and professional. Price was good and everyone was very friendly.

The Foreman Alex was amazing. He was patience with all my questions and curiosity about the process. His team was very professional. Yan Carlo, Chris, and Aaron went above and beyond to ensure our property was taken care of and cleaned up. I would highly recommend Egress Inc. And if you get Alex and his crew, you'll be very impressed. Thank you for helping us get our basement to code.

"impeccable customer service and installation. Thorough communication in all areas. Handled all start to finish for the city permits. All done timely, efficiently with wonderful delivery attitude. in addition to showcasing the products helping me purchase the best windows for my situation."

The team at Egress, Inc. was very professional and responsive. We had a sump pump installed and an egress window in our 1940’s home. The work was immaculate! (Cleaner than how they found it!) They even regraded around the perimeter of the whole house as part of the project. I highly recommend them for their work and professionalism.

I recently had a window well replaced by Egress Inc. The process from start to finish was flawless, the level of craftsmanship by the construction crew, excellent.
The project started with a review of companies in the surrounding area. Egress Inc. is a CO company, established almost 50 years ago. Egress does new installations, repairs and replacements.
One of my window wells had begun rotting out. If you're unfamiliar with why that happens, it's an electrical process involving dissimilar metals, moisture and electrical grounds. At the end of this review, I'll provide a detailed explanation of why a tub rots.
After contacting Egress, I was met by Cody, who performed a site survey with me. The job at-hand was straightforward, but Egress is experienced in handling some of the most demanding projects.
Casey, Connie and Janett then worked towards sending me a detailed quote within 24 hours, scheduling a date and time of replacement, while notifying the locating services before digging.
On the day of the replacement, Michael and the Egress Crew arrived first thing and began work right away. Throughout the replacement, their experience was evident. Not in a rush to complete the job, they took time to detail their work. There are little tells I and others might notice, highlighting the level of craftsmanship provided. I'd ask Mike and the team to return for any egress-related job without hesitation.
Once the new tub was in, the team cleaned the entire area. At the end of the day, it was like nothing ever happened. Inside the home, the appearance of a glistening, shiny new well was welcome.
The project was backed by a 5-year parts and labor warranty.
If considering a well replacement or egress-related project, you'd have difficulty finding a better business for that job than Egress Inc.
What follows is something of a technical explanation of why window wells can rot.
Each type of metal has a unique electrical property or signature. When two different metals (the zinc window tub, the steel in the foundation) are joined, then aided by moisture in the soil and a ground (see electrical ground, in basement and electrical service panel), a difference of electrical potential is created. Current flow results.
Zinc acts like an anode, a negative terminal of a battery. The steel, a cathode, a positive. With the circuit in-place, the window tub begins rotting, an unstoppable process.
In my example, the home had settled over time, this one tub shifting slightly and making contact with the rebar in the foundation. While this doesn't happen often, it is not uncommon. The only solution is to remove the tub, replace and attach the new tub to the concrete of the foundation while avoiding any steel rebar.
Attached is one photo of the old tub; it shows why, when first seeing signs of rust, the tub should be replaced. Notice in the photo there are clean sections and the rotted ones. The clean side is what I was seeing in the home, minus a few dots of rust. The rotted side is the ground side, what was happening on the backend. You can imagine, being left alone to continue, the well would eventually collapse into the window and basement.
The corrosion explained above is a slow process. A tub can rot in a few short years or over a longer period. As the photos show, it's what you don't see that's concerning. While not necessarily needing immediate attention, the situation and condition needs to be corrected.
Review your wells often. I stand and study mine in detail every few months. A simple, visual check for rust is all that's required.
While my project involved the above, you might also notice signs of water damage or drainage issues. Egress can help you with that. -
Installed two Egress Windows and my old bathroom window and I could not be more happy with the high level of professionalism, attention to detail and realizing how important it is to keep the customer in all aspects of the job well informed from start to finish. You get what you pay for and these folks are worth every cent and then some......I do not say this lightly.

Outstanding work, fair price, and incredible communication.
Replaced six basement windows, two wells, six well covers and added an escape ladder. The lighting is so much better, it's easier to regulate the temperature, and the well covers are so strong.
Chad and his crew were outstanding with communication and so was the admin team. I knew exactly what was happening at all times. Everyone was so kind.
I'd definitely work with them again.
