Window Installation reviews in Denver, Colorado

After the second door-knocking sales pitch, I signed up for a bathroom remodel that involved a window replacement, swapping out a tub for a shower, and removal of my previous shower. They screwed up ordering the right materials delaying my project by two additional weeks (it took them 3 months in total), they used the wrong trim on my window (used just what they had on their truck), assigned three different "project managers" none of which engaged whatsoever, and my in-shower window sill does not drain toward the shower (it tilts into the window, risking water damage). They also pulled a permit for the window that expires next week, but failed to tell the county inspector to inspect their work. The overall quality of work was acceptable (except the window sill), but their planning, communications, logistics and follow-through suck horribly. Unless you are desperate, or can tolerate spending tens of thousands while having to manage the project yourself, don't use this company!

Lifetime installed sliding glass doors for us, and we couldn't be more pleased! Installation was done early and well. Their follow-up was great ... phone calls and inspection. They surprised us by coming back to paint the outside edging to match the color of our other windows. I highly recommend them for your window needs!

There is no way we will ever use Lifetime or recommend them to anyone I know ever again. The installation was messed up on so many levels that the 2 day install took from July 6th to Aug 19th to complete.
The first team they sent were completely un-prepped for the job they were supposed to be doing and had already broken the $2k picture window in their truck on the way to our house.
As you can see from the pictures, they used our backyard as a trash can, chucking all of the nails and pieces of wood out our second story windows into the yard. It took me hours to clean up the nails and tiny pieces of wood before I could let my kids and dog run around again. We were literally picking pieces out of the plants and garden on our deck.
The upstairs windows were all removed at the same time and left open for hours, in which time it rained inside my kids bedrooms and we were catching flies for 3 days afterwards.
The two custom windows in our bathroom were installed in the wrong locations. They had to send a second team out weeks later to remove them and reinstall them. Of course they had decided to install the exterior new Hardie trim before that happened, so they damaged the Hardie in the process of re-installing the windows the right way.
Every room had damage in at least 1 area. The sash in the dining room was dented during the install and they had to send another one weeks later. There was so much caulk dug into our carpet that the job foreman himself came over one day to scrub it out on his own.
The trim was so horrible that after the job foreman was unhappy with what the first crew did, and was embarrassed by what the second crew tried to do, he just ripped it all apart another day and redid it himself.
The drywall in one of our basement rooms was so badly damaged during the process that we had to hire a painter to redo the drywall and texture and repaint it all.
We paid extra for Hardie siding all around the new windows. They didn't bring enough and I caught them trying to figure out how to use the last left over piece to fit into place with extra caulk on either side to fill gaps. When I called the job foreman about it, he agreed it should be done the right way and they would bring more materials the next week. I had to insist that someone come seal it up before the rain that weekend.
The team that came to install the Hardie trim, set up their cutting station on our backyard lawn. After weeks of trying to rehabilitate that area, it is still ruined from all of the Hardie material saw dust that was left in the grass and then rained on and dug into the ground.
The only reason they are even getting 1 star is that they were embarrassed by the entire thing and gave us a good amount of money off the job. The job foreman was pleasant and understanding, but it doesn't change the fact that our 2 day job took 2 months with disrespectful people in our house for numerous days, needing to constantly remind them to keep their masks on, and clean up after themselves. We had bed sheets nailed up to our windows for 2 months since we had to keep pushing back our painter and couldn't order blinds until it was all done.
We finally had our painters finish last week, and they asked who did the windows because they had never seen such sloppy caulk work on the outside and so much trim damage on the inside that they needed to fill and sand.
We made a huge mistake hiring this company. Their sales process is great, the marketing makes them seem very high end, and the windows themselves are probably very nice...but when it comes down to it they are sending subcontracted teams who don't really care how it turns out or how they treat your home. I asked if they were taking lunch and they told me they never do. They get paid per job and want to get it done as fast as possible - and that directly shows in the terrible quality of craftsmanship and all of the mistakes they made along the way that resulted in huge hassles for me and my family. -
I absolutely love our new bath and shower! The whole process working with Lifetime was great! Hallie was very communicative during the ordering process and was great to work with. Mike and Casey were our installers and they were awesome! Very professional, kind and personable. It’s a dirty job and they were very clean and courteous about our home getting dusty and dirty. Overall I’m satisfied so far with how things turned out!

Our new shower from lifetime is so beautiful and functional! We love that it looks high end and performs so well for our family with two littles.
We had the shower installed in December, ahead of schedule and even with a hiccup with the glass company it was installed and completed within 3 days. Ryan Willis was excellent and his guidance and design expertise were the reason we chose lifetime over the 4 other quotes we got. Hallie coordinated the project and got all our materials in quicker than promised. Chris and Mike and all the other crew members were enthusiastic, personable, professional, and efficient. This was easily the best experience we have had with a renovation project yet. We will seek out lifetime for future projects! -
Robert Hernandez provided some options for window replacement on my townhome in Denver CO. He was professional and transparent about the process. Highly recommend requesting Robert if you need a design consultant. He has a very experienced approach to this process.

We had a fantastic experience with Lifetime Home Remodeling for replacing our siding with Hardieboard.
The sales representative, Joe, was 'no pressure' yet was very informative and provided the education we needed to make an informed decision.
Lifetime's installers assigned to us, "BBB", were amazing and left a clean worksite each night. They worked diligently each day even through some terrible weather conditions. Their workmanship was impeccable and the City inspector even noted that the flashing and caulk work were among the best he had ever encountered.
The project manager, Allen, checked the installers work on-site most days and maintained a frequent and open communication dialog to keep us informed.
We were extremely satisfied with the entire experience and are delighted with the final product. THANK YOU LIFETIME! -
If you want to pay a company top dollar to have them send subcontractors for 2nd rate work & questionable windows, this is the company for you!
We chose Lifetime to purchase and have Marvin windows installed. The commercials, as well as the sales rep that visited repeatedly stated that the windows were high quality, would be custom made for our home and installed by Lifetime’s trained professionals. They even said we would have an assigned Project Manager ON SITE for the installation. NONE of that was true. Nothing they claim is “guaranteed”, even if it’s in writing, they have plenty of excuses to avoid fulfilling their promises. The sales rep took measurements and later Lifetime scheduled someone to complete a final measure. The measurer showed up 3 hours early. He completed this “professional measure” for 10 windows & a sliding door in less than 10 minutes. 9 weeks later, Lifetime said they would be able to install our windows a week early but our project manager wouldn’t be available, so they assigned another project manager. That day, a yellow box truck filled with sub-contactors showed up, & another gentleman put on a Lifetime shirt as he came to the door and said the NEWLY assigned project manager wasn't available, so he would be filling in. The contractors immediately started removing my existing windows; no verification that the new windows were the correct size, they just started tearing out windows. Once they started installing – ONLY 1 contractor was using insulation sealing tape and another was installing a window that was about 1 ½ inch shorter than the opening (see photos). There were two other windows with this issue. I asked why a window that was custom made for my home didn’t fit; his response was that we had quartz/marble window sills (which THEY were replacing) so the measurements couldn’t be perfect. Isn’t this what they claim to do? 5 other windows with the same sills fit absolutely perfectly - this excuse made zero sense. He said they would make sure it was sealed – they used spray foam insulation and cut strips of vinyl to cover the gaps. AFTER the install, I put my window shades back on and found that one window was 2 inches WIDER than it was before the installation. Custom designed for MY home, my a$$. Within a week, I had 3 windows that wouldn’t close and my door slider wouldn’t lock. I called Lifetime & 2 days later, the same crew came out without the project manager. They began sliding and then slamming the windows repeatedly trying to get them to shut. The contractor said that they had been installed correctly, so it wasn’t an installation problem, so Lifetime would need to address it & I would have to call. I called Lifetime and was VERY unhappy – they had Dan call me. He was very polite, came out that afternoon & said that the contractors didn’t adjust the slides when they installed the windows, so he said he got them fixed and adjusted the latch on the door and said they left it in the wrong position (professional installers?). I showed him the incorrectly sized windows & he agreed that it was not “ideal” but that Lifetime would still guaranty the windows quality, insulation & longevity (aka you paid for them and signed – too bad). Less than 2 weeks later, I had 2 OTHER windows that wouldn’t close, so Dan had Joe, a senior Lifetime installer come out. Within minutes Joe showed me that the windows easily slide off the track with a gentle push, & won’t close properly. Once this happens, you have to reset the slider portion of the window so it will close. He said it’s the way they are designed but it’s not a design flaw. $1 - $1,500 windows that can be pushed off their tracks by the pressure needed to close the window should clearly not be designed to fail this way, but that’s the answer I got. I now have to close my windows with the delicacy of using old IKEA furniture, & even then, at least once a week I have to reset one or more of my windows so it will close properly. Buyer beware.
Edit: 2 weeks later and no contact. 👎
Drafty windows, total lies. -
From start to finish my experience with Lifetime Windows has been too notch. I am thoroughly impressed with not only my new Anlin Windows but with the entire process from start to finish. My sales consultant Joe C. who is very knowledgeable and friendly. From Les E. the Measure Specialist to Rebecca M., Isreal M. and the awesome installation crew that installed my windows I truly appreciate you and all of your hard work. Thank you

I bought my house in 2021 and the previous owners used Lifetime to install Marvin Infinity windows and James Hardie siding. In order to install a dog door I would’ve had to cut a hole in the Hardie board siding. Instead, I called Lifetime and Dave Thomas was able to create a plan for a custom window and the dog door to be installed in one of the existing floor to ceiling window frames.
Normally, Lifetime doesn’t touch something like a dog door but they made an exception and totally delivered! The fact that they went outside of their comfort zone for this small project truly speaks to the premium level of customer service that they offer. Shout out to Jon and the install team for doing an amazing job!
I would recommend Lifetime to anyone who wants a premium window and siding company that supports them or a new homeowner years after the original install is completed! -
Bobby and Will did a great job of removing our old outdated shower and then installed a new shower. It looks great and functions perfectly with zero leaks and perfect water pressure. We are very pleased with the final results of this project.

I am do happy withe the replacement window and new entry door. Great sales person, great install. And the door comes on the HOA required Burgundy for the outside and I chose white for inside.

From the sales person to the person that stained our windows and door all were professional and did a great job. We received a quality product, the installation was seamless, and we are now enjoying a new door, a picture window and a double-hung window in our family room. Highly recommended.

We hired Lifetime Home Remodeling to replace our siding and are very pleased with the final product. From Dee the salesperson, to Allen the project manager and the crew of BBB. They were on time, cleaned up every day and our new siding looks great! We would use Lifetime again for another home project.

The initial installation of the seven windows started in the morning and ended around eight at night. It was very very cold and dark by the time everything was done. When I was able to go outside after the snow storm, I noticed that the outside of my house where the windows had been installed, had been torn up during the installation process. A couple of attempts were made to patch the holes in my walls with the black caulking around the windows. But it looked awful. I sent photographs and received calls to do the punchlist work and the follow up work, but people didn’t show up. It took three months before someone finally came and was able to take care of the issue satisfactorily. Now, one of the windows won’t close, so I’m waiting on Service to come and fix that

Lifetime replaced all of our (20+) windows and sliding door last week with with Marvin Infinity windows and door. Original windows and slider were only 7 years old low quality builder grade installed by a local semi - custom " Small Batch Home" builder that would not address any of problems with the leaky warping vinyl windows they installed.
We ordered the windows 5/22/23 with Chad from Lifetime..Mike handled the measurements perfectly and approx 5 weeks later Alberto and his crew completely installed them with careful precision over two days...including removal!!! What a team...removal, installation, and cleanup...these guys are 2nd to none! James Clouter the project mgr followed up at the completion. One small issue with an ancillary piece of trim and he has it ordered for replacement.
What a pleasure working with this team! -
Update to this review: Lifetime came out and fixed the issue with the spray foam. Jon Stone was super friendly and completed the cleaning. It looks amazing and we are super happy with the outcome. I am changing the rating from 3 stars to 5 stars since he profusely apologized about the mess left from the original installers.
Original Review: The process of purchasing our windows went smoothly. On the day of install, it was a little bit of a different story. The job took a lot longer than expected and the windows from the inside look amazing. However, the outside is a mess and they didn’t clean up the spray foam on the bathroom window, which we can’t open since it’s a picture window. They also left a razor blade on our deck box, which we found right away before our 3 year old went outside. We’ve emailed and called about the mess and no one has returned the calls or emails. We are happy with the windows, but it seems the aftercare is definitely lacking, which is very disappointing. For our next project, we may need to look elsewhere since everything has been silent. -
Lifetime is a first-rate, professional company that provides a great window product in the Infinity series. I had them do six windows. They did a complete job from measurement to permitting to installation. Clean up was thorough. They also follow up to make sure there were no problems, which there weren't.

The team did a great job getting all of our windows installed quickly. They left the area around our home and inside our home immaculate. The windows are amazing. There was one screen that was ripped and they repaired it right away, but are replacing it with a new one as well. Amazing service

We hired Life Time to convert. Our kids bathtub into a standup shower. Moe and Luis were incredible, very respectful of the home and didn’t leave a speck of dust. The finished product is beautiful and we couldn’t be any happier!

Lifetime installed windows, doors and siding. Installation was quick (42 windows, two oversized glass doors and 1000 sqft of siding. They completed the job in two weeks. Couldn’t be happier with their professionalism and responsive attitude. I highly recommend Lifetime because of their products but most of all for their fantastic employees who are first class craftsmen and craftswomen.
