Justin had come out previously that week and did everything I needed, and scope work. The competition wanted 600 just to snake 2 drains.

After having 2 guys come out. Both showed up same day, professional, knowledgable, and great attitude, along with the price. I'll never call another plumbing company again.

Paul just clear our shower drain. He did a excellent job. He communicated where he was and when he would arrive. Another company quoted me $350 yesterday to clear the drain and Paul with 99 Rooter cleared it for $99. Thank you Paul, The Ball family

Paul Maez was extremely helpful, he got to work right away and fix the issue within 2 hours. We had 3 other plumbers out that could not help us and Paul did it with ease! Definitely recommend him, he is great, honest and hardworking!

Had a "code brown" emergency on a late Sunday afternoon. Called 99 Rooter and they managed to get us in same day despite the late call. Maggie called ahead with an ETA and despite us being the last appointment of the day, she took her time, cleared the sewer line, explained the process and, most importantly, didn't try to upsell us to any other services or procedures.

Maggie was a pleasure to deal with and we highly recommend 99 Rooter and Maggie especially!!!

Just WOW! Maggie was a true hero today. My laundry room was flooding and my kitchen sink was all backed up. I was super annoyed and gave them a call. They were at my house within a couple hours and fixed both problems in under an hour. Very efficient, didn’t try to sell me on anything extra, super kind and easy to talk to, AND reasonably priced. Naturally, I hope to not have to call them again, but will call MAGGIE when in a bind. Thank you, Maggie.

Had a problem with our drains, no idea what it was. A lady came to my house, looked into various pipes and, fixed it, and was able to even explain how the house was set up with a lot of details!

Kalob was great! He was prompt, respectful, transparent about pricing/options and resolved the issue quickly.

Calob was great and very knowledgeable. Gave clear instructions as to what he was doing and gave great advice and recommendations as to what I should be doing to prevent future drain backups. Very professional and made sure to clean area after work completed. Definitely recommend, if I need 99 router again I will personally ask for Calob.

Definitely a good experience. Mollie came out, listened to the problem, and gave some practical suggestions and options. No pressure to do more but I wanted to also scope the drain out to the street which we did after the drain was cleared. It was good to see the condition of the clay piping in the yard.
Will definitely be referring and using again if needed.

Maggie & Caleb were great. They came out super fast after our back-up was discovered and were very efficient and communicative with what they were doing. They also did a nice job cleaning up everything after they were done.

TL;DR DO NOT USE 99 ROOTER. We were scammed out of $2000, with 3 huge holes in our home wall/ceiling still, problem still not fixed. Incompetent business management.

Here’s the details:
We have previously worked with a father-son duo for all plumbing needs. Recently, our short-term renter said he could smell methane (assuming he meant sewer smells), so we called our plumbers. They referred us to 99 Rooter this time, said they’re working with them, and that we should schedule through their phone line. OK, no problem.

We called and scheduled, asked for our guys to come out, but they sent Caleb out same-day, did a thorough sewer scope. Very helpful. Checked inside and outside the house. Couldn’t find anything. Upfront and honest. Said to call back and he’d come out if we smell it again. Caleb is awesome!

2-3 weeks later, smell came back. We call and ask for Caleb to come back. Instead, they send Paul. Wouldn’t be an issue, except that he cut two large holes in our basement ceiling and still couldn’t find the source of the smell. So he says he’ll come back the next day with a smoker to smoke out all the sewer and find a pipe leak. Doesn’t show. Says he’s coming the next day. Doesn’t show. Then we find out he’s sick and his brother Milo is coming out the next day. He doesn’t show. Finally say they’re coming on Monday. Don’t show b/c they can’t find the smoker pellets.

Finally, about a week later, Milo shows up with two other guys (one has his daughter with him), none have a knowledge of what’s going on. I’m at work, so my wife calls me. I explain where the issue is (the bathroom) and explain a pipe needs to be sealed or replaced. He swears the issue is actually the washer/dryers in different rooms entirely. I tell him that’s not the case, but he swears it will fix it. I tell him we already have a vent on the W/D, but he says we don’t and he needs to add one.

They cut a massive hole into our wall in the living room. They cut the pipe with the current vent and add a second vent. Then cut downstairs behind the W/D and add one there as well. 25 minutes of work. They ask for a $2000 cash payment because of credit card fees, and they’ll send us an invoice. We have cash so my wife pays them.

No smoking the pipes. No wall patching. No sealing or replacing a leak.

A couple of days later, the smell came back. I called 99 Rooter to ask for the invoice, asked for them to fix the issue again, and when they were going to patch the walls. There is no record of these brothers’ work in their system.

I spoke with Adam, a high level guy. He finally agrees to send someone out, and we ask for Caleb specifically. Guess what? Nobody shows up because he didn’t actually schedule it.

We called again. Caleb FINALLY comes out and apologizes a ton (super great guy) and inspects. We did have vents, they just acted like that was the problem so they could charge us. Caleb removes the installed vent, and connects the pipes to the old one, takes a bunch of pictures, and sends them to Adam.

The brothers were fired, and they started calling and texting my wife over and over, very angry at us.

Did 99 Rooter make it right? No. Did they take responsibility for the two brothers they employed? Not really. Did they pay us back? Nope. Are there huge holes in our house? Yes. Is the problem fixed? Definitely not. Smelled like sewer in the home last night, again.

Maggie and Caleb worked really hard to get through a root ball which was obstructing my main line! They got through it with their added attention.
Ask for them!

I’m a real estate broker and I very often need a sewer cleaning and scope done quickly. $99 Rooter always delivers and Maggie and Kalob especially did a great job for me today! Kalob and Maggie came out to clear tree roots out of the main line at our house. Defintely an impressive couple! They are pleasant, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Got the job done quickly. Will continue to ask for them in the future.
