Lou and Suzanna did a great job installing my new luxury vinyl flooring on my main floor and linoleum in a couple of bathrooms. I had a couple of bids and Mercado's came in lower than the rest and they tore all of the existing flooring out where the others were going to lay over the old floor.
They were there when they said they would be and cleaned up everyday when they were done. I even asked them to do a couple of extra things and they did it while they were there instead of having to come back. I will definitely recommend them to others and look forward to using them in the future.

Lou remodeled our kitchen last year and changed out our back door to a slider in our kitchen this year . He does a fantastic job. He is meticulous with his work. I would recommend him for any project you have planned.

We had an incredible experience with Lou at Mercado Inc. He completely gutted and renovated our master bath and guest bath in our 1970's house. His process was simple, transparent and straightforward. After interviewing a handful of contractors, we selected Lou because of the scope and detail of his past projects, the value he presented, and he just felt like the right fit for our family. We are so thankful for him!

The level and quality of his work was exceptional and his attention to detail was phenomenal. He personally did demo, drywall work, tile, flooring, painting, and trim work (among plenty of other items), and he's very skilled in every task.

He would always keep a tidy job site, cleaning up each day. He was conscious about noise, dust, debris and anything that could inconvenience us and was great about mitigating any of those problems ahead of time to keep us comfortable.

Of course, in any renovation we were sure to come across problems, but Lou was so proactive in coming up with unique and thoughtful solutions, we never had to sweat. He seems to have seen it all, so nothing was unexpected or surprising to him.

Beyond that, his planning was just so impressive - there were never any delays or setbacks due to poor planning. We always knew what task was complete and what task was coming next. He was perfectly communicative, always letting us know when he or a subcontractor would be stopping by the house. If we ever needed anything, he was just a quick text away.

On top of that, Lou and his wife Susanna were just friendly, good people. They always made us feel taken care of and comfortable - they were great to have in our home and our kids will miss them. Now, every time we walk into our new bathrooms, we'll be grateful for their quality work and professionalism.

Long version: My husband and I had a huge project - completely gutting and remodeling our master bathroom AND our kids’ bathroom at the same time, moving a wall - it was a lot. I researched contractors for weeks. Lou understood immediately what we were wanting to do with the project. He was very responsive any time we had a question throughout the entire remodel. He kept us in the loop, so we always knew what had been accomplished and what was up next. He and his subcontractors showed up when they said they would every time. He had great ideas for solutions when we hit some (very minor) hiccups. Lou and Suzanna always left the space clean when they were done for the day and really caused as little interruption as is possible in a job like this. They did an absolutely incredible job and the bathrooms turned out even better than I imagined. And just as important as the quality of their work, Lou and Suzanna are wonderful people. We’re so glad to have the bathrooms done, but we’ll also miss seeing them! I really couldn’t be happier with how this whole process turned out.

If I could I would give more than 5 stars. Lou Mercado and his team are absolutely wonderful. We did a full renovation from 900 miles away and felt nothing but peace of mind the entire 4 months. There was not a corner that they did not do something to our house inside and out and I have zero complaints about anything. Lou cares about the work he and his team of people put out. He listened to what we wanted and thought of things that were needed that we had not thought about. Honestly, if you need a remodel done Lou Mercado is your man! You will not be sorry!
