Waterwise just finished our back yard and it looks great. Granted, it's winter, so seeing the plants come to life this spring will really make it shine. The team was responsive, hard-working, informative, professional, friendly, thorough and did a great job. From the design (thanks Astrid!) to the install (Rio is great) they kept me informed. They worked with me to create something within my budget while incorporating the features I wanted. Highly recommend.

Such a fabulous experience working with this company. From the very beginning working on a design of my own, they were willing to work with me and offer suggestions to make improvements or help reduce costs. The crew that came to do the work was friendly, conscientious and hard working. As I walked around the final product I was so impressed that they took the time to do the little extras that really meant a lot to me and they could have chosen not to bother. I am thrilled with my new back yard and would definitely recommend this company.

My wife reached out to these guys about landscaping and irrigation for our backyard via online form submission yesterday. Before 11 AM today, they contacted us to share that they are geared towards larger projects than our space provided, but they offered to provide referrals to us. She thanked them and asked them to please send those over, and we already have them in hand today before close of business. If this is the kind of responsiveness and professionalism they provide to people who they won't make a dime off of, then I can only imagine what a great company they must be to actually work with. So with that in mind, I would recommend people considering them to reach out with confidence and trust. We started our conversation with Waterwise looking to xeriscape in order to conserve water saving money. After lots of discussion, we hired Waterwise to install an irrigation system. The system is brilliantly designed and so easy to use. We saved our beautiful green lawn and because of the great design and app based control of the system we are saving money on water. Our water bill is lower with the system and our grass is greener than when we we were dragging hoses around the yard.

From sharing our initial objectives to convert a distressing backyard with Waterwise professionals, we were astounded by the dedication and attention to detail we experienced with every member of their amazing team.
From Astrid's incredible vision and sense of design, to Ehren's professional plant knowledge base and commitment to make sure everything was precisely handled.
To make the design a reality, Chewy and his hands-on landscape team worked tirelessly, neatly and proficiently to scrape, grade, install rock borders, sit-on boulders and lush sod.
Plus, to support Astrid's bountiful new plant scapes throughout, the crew painstakingly installed a yard-wide drip network branching out to nurture every individual plant in the entire backyard.
What professionals. What expertise. What an experience. But most importantly...what a pleasure working with Waterwise!

Most recently I needed a yard refresh prior to a rental move-out inspection, and Juan Carlos and Douglas knocked it out of the park. These guys were hardworking and extremely efficient, and were able to accommodate my request at the last minute.

In the past, Waterwise has helped me with planning services and plant selection and a sprinkler reboot/modification for a large-scale xeriscape project--they really shined with that level of complexity. Overall, Waterwise scored big points with me for their deep subject matter expertise, their ability to take on and stage a complex project, and their follow through with schedules and promises. I plan to use Waterwise for my next big landscaping project this summer, and my level of trust in their work and honesty is so high that I do not plan to talk with any other companies. Highly recommend!

Waterwise was the only landscaping company (of 5!) that followed through with their promises during the very busy summer of 2022. Astrid is a pleasure to work with, and the landscaping plan she provided was as professional and clear as could be.
There were a few issues like a broken pipe which left a hole in the ground and a few dead trees after the winter, but what matters is that Waterwise agreed to fix them and actually did so.
The owner is not the most tactful but is absolutely a straight-shooter and clearly knows what he is doing -- think "engineer, not salesman".
If you want a company that has a sense of honor; one which takes their word seriously in what may be one of your largest and longest-term home investments, this is the one.

I've been working with Corey Woldorf all summer for an HOA community I manage and he has been exceptional! He is responsive to the needs of the homeowners and board members. He takes the time to listen and learn and we appreciate his attentiveness to this neighborhood! Thanks Corey!

I contacted Diego about the possibility of regrading my front walk, where the pavers have been sinking. His knowledge and expertise during the consultation helped to reassure me that I had called the right company. He clearly communicated what needed to be done and how the project would conclude. His estimate was detailed and the price was fair. I can't wait for him to get to work!

Diego and his crew did an outstanding job on our property. From start to finish, the work was top quality and the pricing was fair. What really stood out was their work ethic. They didn’t stop until the job was done right, often staying hours past when we expected them to wrap up for the day. It’s rare to find a contractor who takes that much pride in their work. We have been really happy with Diego and the Sol Y Tierra staff. They are true pros! We needed help cleaning everything up and Diego offered some landscaping suggestions that really transformed our property.
Diego is a really excellent communicator—this is a skill that means a lot to us. His customer service is excellent.
He has been flexible and timely. We now consider Sol Y Tierra to be our go-to company for landscaping.
Lastly, Diego has been open to an arrangement in our neighborhood for yardwaste pickup. We couldn’t find anyone to do this—he stepped up and saved the day!

Diego came over to look at a drainage issue in our backyard and came up with a super easy solution. He didn’t even charge us for the consultation and our yard is draining perfectly now! Couldn’t recommend him more!!

I will always choose FC Nursery over other garden centers in town simply because of their super knowledgeable staff. They have answers for everything, and they aren't shy about giving me a small education every time I'm there. I love that. Their plants are beautiful and healthy, and the kids area is a special treat for my kids. I feel so fortunate to have this incredible resource in our city.

My bonus points actually added up to something today, and I got two free herbs, well almost free, from the nursery! I've been going here for decades and they are always welcoming and knowledgeable. Can't say enough good things about Fort Collins Nursery. Highly recommended as a little escape to the world of plants and people who love them.

So happy with this nursery! Got a few indoor plants a bit ago from there and they weren't doing so good after a while (totally our fault; not as green of thumbs as we thought we had). We took them in and got some great information about how to care for them properly. A big thank you to Stephanie who helped us so much and gave us a lot of good information!

Every employee I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with is knowledgeable and kind. Lily and Bridger have helped me out on multiple occasions and always have an answer for my numerous questions. They’re fantastic! As for the nursery in general, they keep their plants strong and growing beautifully, even some employees told me to wait to buy certain plants for them to give them fertilizer and have the plants grow stronger. Very kind, honest, and knowledgeable staff. I come here for all my plant needs

Amazing! The selection is unbelievable and the employees did not try to sell me things I didn't need. They actually helped me figure out how to treat my plants' problem without buying anything even though I was ready to spend money. Excellent service and knowledgeable employees. I'll definitely be back.

Very happy with staff of the nursery as well as variety of selection and their involvement in the community. Have had multiple questions answered using their ask an expert feature online in addition to the large amount of location specific information they have on their website. Have also received good advice and a welcome to Colorado packet in store. Looking forward to the spring and planting season to visit again!

I thought this nursery had a great selection of plants. Caroline was kind enough to take the time to explain plants to me that I was unfamiliar with, along with care tips. She was friendly, very knowledgeable, and convinced me to buy more plants than I had intended. :D I'll definitely be back!

I'm not sure you'll find a better place for your indoor and outdoor gardening needs than right here! Frequent returner!

decent selection, beautiful set up. we went for my birthday and they wouldn’t give me a bday discount. : c 10% really isn’t that big of a deal considering every other nursery we went to did it. a little pricey in general.

edit: I was NOT offered a discount, and I was with several people who can verify this. after this slanderous response there is no way we are returning to this location. I only wanted a 10% discount. after this response I am lowering my star rating even further. the customer service here is abysmal compared to every other nursery in Fort Collins.
