Great nursery, but a bit out of the way. Lots of trinkets and decorations, but also a great selection of healthy plants. The staff have always been nice but not always the most helpful. It's a roll of the dice whether the specific staff member knows very much about the plants you're interested in.

Love this nursery... not the management! We’ve spent a fair amount of money here through the years. They’re not the cheapest but not that overpriced either.
Today we went looking for some houseplants there. A larger sign as you come in states “20% off pots and 30% off houseplants”. Sweet!
We spent over $250, expecting about $50 or so.
Upon checkout they tell us the sign at the entrance was starting February 2! Sure enough, we had not read the posted sign correctly. Asked if we could come back in 6 days. Would they hold one plant and pot? NO! They said they won’t do that. I asked if we brought

Fort Collins Nursery is amazing!! We have been going for years. The selection is incredible. So many plants and trees you won't find anywhere else. The staff is exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. They have taken extra measures to make both staff and customers safe. We always look forward to our visits to the nursery.

Horribly outrageous prices. Worst part is I came up with two items that were floor models with significant damages. They only had one of each and literally could not even locate one of them that stated they had three in the system. She literally offered me only a 10% off of it.

These items I wouldn't have paid, well Nobody would have paid more than 10 bucks for these items. They had significant damage that caused it to look not like it should have. I wanted them because they had a special feature about him that I could have worked around but it would have taken me money and time to deal with it and it wasn't worth no 10% off. I tried to reason with her. I tried to knock even five bucks off of something. No no no. She stuck to her 10% off only and this was the manager, Mind you and she refused to understand their errors. I didn't even receive an apology that they only had one item out on the floor that I really wanted and I was willing to pay at least 10 bucks for it. And no she wanted me to pay still close to $25 for the item. They don't work with you. They're overpriced and I will not be bringing me or my family over to this nursery again.

Extremely disappointed in the service I received. I felt like they didn't care about the situation at all and they didn't use any kind of discretion over policy. That's the wrong store you want to be at.

Great people that are super knowledgeable. Priced very reasonably especially considering the quality of products and service. If you are one of the many transplants to Colorado (as I am) they will help you get exactly what you need to grow your garden in this ecosystem.

I'm a brand new gardener. This was my first experience in a nursery, and it was during their big perennial sale. Got there 12 minutes after open and it was chaos, but a good kind. So many people, very high positive energy, and very friendly workers. There was about half of the supply of the sale items left, but most were still a decent selection in good shape, so I was able to get a lot of new flowers. The wagons and decor are a lovely touch to the experience. A tad on the pricey side, but worth it with the warranty.

The staff was super helpful with every question I had! It is so much bigger than it looks on the outside! There was a staff member leading a gardening program for children when I came in today!

This place is great! Been there numerous times and bought everything from houseplants, annuals and perennials, pots and garden decor. Had to leave a review today because of how kind and knowledgeable they are. A few weeks ago I called in to see about mounting a staghorn fern. Not only did they help me over the phone but also showed me examples and what to buy when I got there. I just called because I am having issues a few weeks later with my mount I made and they were kind enough to give me advice on it again! Awesome people!

Would put 0 stars if possible. I come to this nursery quite regularly and I have never gotten such awful service from the cashier Olivia: rolling her eyes, and was visibly rude to her coworkers. I won’t be coming here again. Management doesn’t seem to care about how their employee acts. Guellys is so much better: cheaper prices, and more importantly, better service. SHOP AT GUELLYS!

When looking for help with choosing the right plants or trees on our property I am able to find expert help at Fort Collins Nursery. They stand behind their products, including plants, and being a garden club member (which has no cost) offers me rewards and frequent discounts. This is a local business I love to support and they love when we bring our dogs to visit.

I just want to share 6 star experience that we had with Thomas and crew today at Adriel Hills. We are a homeowners association and had 7 trees professionally planted in various locations around the property. The crew was very friendly and took special care in planting our trees and answered all our questions and concerns. As the Chairman of the Operations committee I will recommend that our future needs be handled by the professionals of Fort Collins Nursery.

Beautiful nursery and the staff are so helpful and knowledgeable.

Staff was incredibly helpful, especially as I had gotten there to buy a birthday gift close to closing time. Wonderful plant choices.

We purchased seven Woodward Junipers from Fort Collins Nursery and they were installed this morning. The crew did a wonderful job. The trees are lined up perfectly and look amazing. Thank you to the crew for their excellent work.

This nursery is a gem.
Geneva (your indoor plant MD) was simply AMAZING. She took time and looked at the pics of the plants I was having problems with and offered solutions.
Came along to show me the products that would actually work.
And outdid herself my repotting the two plants I came in with.

Expensive but great plants and great info from employees. They also have pretty good deals, often which helps with some of the overpriced plants.

2 stars for the experience today. Took my mother to the nursery for her birthday. We both have been coming here for a long time and have easily spent over 25k there over the years. Have worked with Bobby Danny Kristen and have had exceptional service from them. Today Britany a nursery employee became very combative with me and more importantly my 75 year old mother. We were letting people through to go out the door as we wanted to get seeds. She told us we needed to get out of the way even though we weren't in the way and we actually were letting everyone through so we didnt block anyone. She proceeded to get very rude with my mother and when my mom said this is ridiculous Brittany then said "What was that?!" in a very combative tone and got very close to her as though she might do something to her!. She kept antagonizing the situation until I finally said look just stop were just trying to get seeds and then we are leaving (we also had over 600 dollars worth of plants in our carts we bought as well). She continued to berate my mother and stand over her very close to her face. Ive never seen anything like this in my life at a business. Lived in Fort Collins since the early 90s and have never experienced something this bad. I let Britany know I would be saying something about what happened today so Im sure she has gone to her manager to do damage control but her behavior was completely out of line and she should not be working in customer service in any capacity.

This place is a total gem! The folks here are super knowledgeable, or they'll find someone there who is knowledgeable about your specific question. The prices are a bit high, but I really think it's worth it for the expertise you're getting - with that said, many things there are priced competitively (fish fertilizer, seeds, high end seedling soil, etc...).
