Excellent worker Tyler was. However, needs to work on his customer skills. seemed a bit unhappy. Not sure what it was but, as a retired utility worker, expect excellent customer service skills and the ability to have great rapport with the customer.

I have never had a company who operates like this one. We were told someone would be at our home between 8-12. At 7:57 we heard the dogs barking and realized Chris was at the door. The door was opened at 8:02 and we saw him get in his truck and drive away. I called the main number immediately and she said she would call him. I got a call back 5 min later saying he had left and was driving down the mountain. Christopher had driven all the way up and turned around and left because we did not hear our door BEFORE he was even scheduled to be there. This is a $30k fireplace project and they couldn’t even follow through on the timing of the appointment! When their guy was right there! I have had some sketchy, weird or problematic construction companies over the years but I have NEVER had a company respond like this. I cannot believe they did not require him to come back when we were right there at 8am. Although this company came recommended by the fireplace company I intend to let them know about this situation.

Tyler was very professional and finished our job quickly. We have used Goodrich for many years and their employees are always helpful and informative.

Had an appointment to just *get* a quote on a Friday; it is now Wednesday. 4 attempts at contacting them later, Goodrich has utterly ghosted me. Recommend looking elsewhere if you want your time respected.

I've worked with Goodrich in the past and contacted them to assist with a repair caused by high winds. The guys let me know when they were heading my way, arrived on time, and got the repair done in less than an hour. Very professional and communicative.

Ty, the friendly technician arrived as scheduled, completed quality inspection and cleaned our gas fireplace perfectly.

We had Goodrich Chimney come out to quote two options for new installation. While the initial visit was great, when we actually received our quotes, one quote was for something completely different that we had not discussed at all. When they called to follow up, I let them know that one of the items we were quoted was for the wrong thing and received assurance that they'd get back to me with the correct quote. That never happened.

Team Goodrich went over and above to make my difficult project of relining my masonry chimney!! Highly recommend!!

Poor customer service. Poor communication. Over priced.
They include a chimney cleaning with the install. I don't believe this was ever completed as I was never present for the cleaning and neither was the GC. But they insisted it was. They charged me for a janky very low quality screen that was installed crooked and all hardware visible. I asked for it to be replaced for one that fit correctly or at the minimum have it installed correctly. They refused to acknowledge that it didn't fit correctly. I did remove the chain screen and return to them for a credit. I chose to have the cannon ball's instead of the imitation wood look. The black was to dark and asked if I could exchange for a grey the answer was no. Even at an offer to pay for a new set of grey cannon balls I was told it takes to long to order. But I did get an offer "to paint the balls". Not sure why this was a better option than just ordering new balls. I wanted to make sure the unit worked correctly before I paid the balance of the order. The gas line access was not completely installed when the unit was installed.
They contacted my General Contractor that they were going to turn me over to collections for failure to pay. That communication was never given to me by Goodrich. Granted my GC did not do his job with working and communicating with Goodrich, the company he suggested to use.
Goodrich never came back out to do the final set up and prep of the unit once the gas was accessible to the unit. I would not recommend this company,

Ty came out and fixed our Valor fireplace. Communication was great, he was professional and efficient in troubleshooting the issue. They were very transparent about pricing and it never felt like we were being overcharged.

The team from Goodrich (Nick, Greg and Dave) did a fantastic job. They were thorough, friendly and professional. I can highly recommend them.

Company quoted me $2,200 for a firebox modification. Another company knocked out the same request in an hour for $300. Don’t try to take advantage of people, it only hurts your business.

I am absolutely frustrated and disappointed in this business. I reached out for a quote over a week ago and was told multiple times that the quote was coming by the end of the day...IT NEVER CAME. I am a real estate agent so time is always of the essence with these things - however, we had a week and a half to meet the deadline and unfortunately, they blew through nearly the entire thing. Now I am scrambling to find another contractor because they never sent the quote.
I do not recommend this business to anyone.

Tyler was excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. He worked quickly and efficiently while being polite and conversant.

Goodrich has provided us with reliable and quality chimney and fireplace service for many years. Tyler did an excellent job today both with a thorough cleaning and assessing the seal on the chimney pipe at the chase roof.

Goodrich performed a fireplace inspection when our starter went out; they left the fireplace inoperable and said they’d provide a quote for repair and a quote for replacement. I’ve made six follow up phone calls and still received nothing. Terrible service.

We had some chimney work and new exhaust cover built on our rental and they did an amazing job. Next, we had our chimney cap replaced on our primary home and it was crooked and looked unfinished. We complained and they came out and replaced it with no argument. Really appreciate that. Must of had the low effort crew that day. I would just request the talented crew and you should be in a great hands!
