Spencer and Todd were very responsive when my gas fireplace stopped working. They are very knowledgeable which really comes in handy with the two very old gas fireplace places I have! I really appreciate them!

Great job! Their technician Spencer showed up on time and was polite and knowledgeable. He patiently explained what the issues were, helped get our gas fireplace working again and then made sure I could operate it safely.

We had a heating unit that was not performing, and called Ponderosa Heating, Air and Plumbing -- and I am glad we did. There was a prompt reply, a visit to diagnose the problem, and then a day later Ponderosa installed a new unit. The staff were extremely polite, professional and competent. The installation techs, Jerry and Alex, worked for 10 hours to get the new unit in before an incoming snow storm. I highly recommend Ponderosa for your heating and hvac needs!

Matt was knowledgeable and fixed what another company had been deceiving us on. My apologies to the office staff for jumping to conclusions that someone was not going to show up. They did and we now have a new trustworthy company. I’m going to join their service as well for the well being of our HVAC. Everyone was amazing.

Water heater failed about 9pm Christmas Eve. Ponderosa's emergency services were out the next day to inspect, with a replacement unit installed within 48 hours. Extremely friendly, professional, and great communication from everyone I spoke with. Definitely would recommend their services to family and friends.

Spencer was wonderful! He was so personable and did such a great job. You can tell he is a hard worker who takes his job seriously. We will be requesting him anytime we use Ponderosa Heating.

Just had the Ponderosa Team replace my old A/C unit with a new heat pump A/C unit. The team did a FANTASTIC job in just two days to complete!!

We had Moe come out for an estimate for a house we were under contract for, but the sale didn't work out.

Fast forward months later - we ended up under contract again, needed estimates, got some from other companies. Thinking about it, we realized that Moe and Ponderosa had left such a lasting impression on us, we called to see if they serviced this particular area and were thrilled to find out they did.

Moe and his team have been so responsive and informative. We've learned so much from them and they've done an excellent so far on a bunch of work we've needed to have done.

Jerry and Alex wrapped up our HVAC work in a timely manner and were super professional and responsive the entire time. They left the place nicer than they found it and I'm just grateful we went back to Ponderosa :) Thanks guys!

Our home heating boiler quit working. We called Ponderosa to have it checked out. We scheduled an appointment first available and they sent Matt to check it out 2 days later. Matt quickly found the problems and ordered parts. The next day he arrived in the morning and went to work. The heating boiler was up and running and all is good now. Customer service was top notch and Matt is very knowledgeable and a skilled technician. We will call Ponderosa for any future heating, plumbing or electrical needs in our home.

Our furnace needed to be replaced. They came out quickly to assess, explained the situation concisely and without confusing jargon, and helped walk me through financing options multiple times. I was able to schedule the service the day after financing was approved. They showed up within the designated service window, replaced the furnace in a timely matter (including a new thermostat!) and trained me on the furnace and thermostat before they left. They also made sure to wear shoe covers and place drop cloths to ensure no excessive mess was made. They cleaned up after themselves and left. Great experience!

I researched HVAC companies in Golden and Ponderosa was in the top 5. I called them and got right through to one of the owners, Moe, even though it was later in the day and he was traveling back to CO from a brief holiday! THAT really impressed me. I explained that we wanted to install a Central Air system in our home in Golden. He arranged a home visit which took a thorough 1 1/2 -2 hours to complete! ( I had another company perform the same home visit which was very quick with no real substance. In fact, I received more information from Moe in his first 5 minutes than I got from the other company’s entire visit!) Needless to say, we were very pleased with the entire project. Moe was always available to us ( via text or phone) as the project progressed, with unbridled patience and endless support. His Master Electrician, Bob, and the other crew members worked carefully and meticulously to make sure the changes in the furnace room and the installation of the new circuit box were perfect! We also were grateful that Moe and his company stayed with the original agreed upon contract, even when small upgrades and changes were made. Very high integrity, for sure! As is evident, I highly recommend Ponderosa for any and all your HVAC needs!

I cannot say enough good things about Ponderosa Heating Air Plumbing Electric. We had a carbon monoxide leak in our home, and the fire department had to come out. Moe, from Ponderosa, offered to come immediately, but the fire department said it was safe to wait until the next morning. First thing the next day, Ponderosa arrived to investigate whether the issue was coming from our furnace or our water heater.

They went into our crawl space—a horrible, hard-to-reach area—without a single complaint. They took clear pictures, showed us everything that was wrong, and explained the situation thoroughly. It turned out we needed a new furnace. They came back two days later to install it, and while they were working they also detected a gas leak near the hot water heater that we didn’t even know about. They fixed that, too.

They were amazing: professional, courteous, honest, communicated about everything throughout the process, explained everything, and were incredibly thorough. I absolutely cannot say enough good things about Ponderosa. Highly recommended!

Ponderosa accomplished an exceptional emergency replacement of our furnace right before the holidays last year. We followed up with our service this year and our experience has again been consistently top notch. I can't say enough about their installation and follow up work. Craig did an great job on our service yesterday and was extremely helpful. Based on Ponderosa's exceptional work, we're looking at using them to install a hot water heater and whole house water filter. They've also done great work servicing our gas fireplace. Awesome team of people and great service!

I had a great experience with Ponderosa Heating from start to finish. Moe took his time to explain the pros and cons of various makes and models and He took into consideration that I was without heat. He quickly provided me a quote and gave me a good price on replacing both the furnace and HW heater. The technicians Jerry and Alex were prompt and extremely professional. leo and everett are absolutely amazing! they took the time to explain how the ac repair process would unfold at comfortpros hvac repair. they quickly provided an estimate, worked efficiently, and even cleaned up when they were done! this was my initial experience with this ac repair service in golden, but it definitely won't be my last. thanks, guys!

everett was fantastic! our heater unexpectedly stopped working late on a chilly sunday in golden. he responded promptly and was extremely courteous throughout the process! he managed to get it back up and running swiftly, and also took the time to explain the issue and his strategy to fix it! everett also went above and beyond to offer some invaluable safety tips and advice for the future maintenance of our hvac systems, which was greatly appreciated by us, a newly wedded young couple.

Everett was swift, effective, and well-informed about AC filters. He assisted me in ordering additional filters from an online marketplace. I was uncertain about the size of filter required, but his expertise came in handy. His work was exceptional and thoroughly inspected. I feel secure with his services in Golden.

Update: Both Leo and Everett reached out to me and successfully resolved my issue! They were able to provide a refund for the duplicate payment. Thank you! Initially, it wasn't the smoothest experience. I'm under contract on a building in Golden and utilized their services for an HVAC system inspection, which went well. However, a misunderstanding led to my bank account being charged twice for the inspections. After several days of making calls and waiting for a callback from someone in billing to sort this out, I hadn't heard from anyone or received a refund for the additional charge. I was unsure if anyone had even investigated the matter, and it felt like I was being shuffled around on the phone. At one point, I had a few extra hundred dollars tied up with them, and it didn't appear as though they were concerned about holding onto my money. However, now that they've addressed the issue with their billing department, I would certainly recommend their HVAC services.
