When our AC stopped working we called Ponderosa Heating and Air conditioning. They sent out a tech who was able to determined our system could not be repaired. Assessing our place and looking our furnace over. Mo recommended a new energy efficient unit. However they were not able to instal it until the next day when the supply house opened. The next morning two truck arrived one with the tech Miguel Ronquillo and Craig. The second truck had the electrical team consisting of Devin and Karisa. The electricians did a complete inspection to make sure everything was up to code and safe. Once they completed there responsibility they cleaned up and headed out. Top notch team. We are very thankful they cared as much as they did. Thank you Devin and Karisa. Meanwhile Miguel and Craig started the uninstall but not before putting down floor coverings so they didn’t track any dirt and debris into our house. They then started the long process if the install. This process took hours as they were very particular on how the job was done. The attention to detail was amazing. Could not have asked for better techs. Before they packed up all tools and old equipment they did a thorough inspection and multiple test making sure everything was up to there expectation. WOW. What a great experience. We would recommend Ponderosa to anyone. Quality and integrity.

Ponderosa here today to do the yearly furnace service. I have been using these guys back when there was only 1 guy. I am satisfied with the good job. Chris was my technician. Very knowledgeable and nice guy. Ponderosa, you got a keeper there. Job well done Chris.

Moe, the owner of Ponderosa came out to the house today for a complete HVAC and electrical assessment and estimate. Moe is a great guy, very professional and knowledgeable and trustworthy. I would recommend him and his company!

Michael McMillan serviced my A/C unit- he did a great job. He was very friendly and professional/knowledgable. I am very pleased with the service- no complaints whatsoever.

I was kind of skeptical about duct cleaning to be honest. I thought it was a bit of a scam honestly. But I moved into an older home and figured, what do I have to lose? The best decision I've made! The guys showed me some before-and-after photos of the inside of the ducts. It was nasty...but now it's pristine. I'm not kidding you - my mind has been changed on the legitimacy of this service. It's not a scam. It's a real, valuable service.

Ponderosa showed up just as scheduled for an annual checkup / maintenance. Chris explained what he was checking and servicing. Very pleasant fellow. I ended up signing up for their service plan also. And I also remembered that back when I scheduled the service appointment the lady I talked too was also very cheerful. So refreshing to have good customer service.

Ponderosa is a family owned local business. They are professional, honest and have loads of integrity. Jon - inspected our furnaces and gave us an honest appraisal of our situation. They answer their phone or call you back in a timely manner. Jessica usually answers the office phone and she's great. If you have any issue at all they will work hard to resolve the problem, no matter what. We were selling our house and we felt we got a very good deal on two new furnaces including installation. You will absolutely be in good hands from start to finish with Ponderosa.

From the moment my phone call was answered, the process of putting in an AC was smooth and as painless as buying a new system can be. The quality of people from Jessica, in the office, to Moe and the installers were great! We were replacing an old swamp cooler and Moe was able to get us the right unit based on our home and personal requirements. Any questions we had were satisfactorily answered and the install looks great! They were extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and professional from start to finish. Great company!

I had a fantastic first experience with Ponderosa Heating and A/C. Chris showed up on time, was able to pinpoint the problem almost immediately, and had my a/c up and working within 2 hrs. He was efficient, communicative, and offered some really helpful tips on how to maintain the unit more cost-efficiently. I was really impressed by my experience with Chris, and I know I'll be calling them again!

Had a great experience with Ponderosa servicing my gas fireplace and furnace. The experience started with Jessica in setting up the appointment and continued with Todd providing excellent service. Finding someone to service a fireplace they had not installed was not easy until I got a flyer from Ponderosa. Now the fireplace looks great after being cleaned and the glass front polished. In servicing the furnace Todd recommended a different filter that is less expensive than what I was using. From start to finish it was great working with Todd, Jessica and Ponderosa and I highly recommend them.

We got a heat pump and new furnace with Ponderosa. The experience was outstanding start to finish. They got us on the schedule incredibly fast, and communicated frequently about when their crews would be arriving. Jessica was a delight to work with on the phone and answered all our questions thoroughly (and humorously) throughout the project, and quickly got all our rebate and permitting paperwork submitted and squared away. We had to change the location of the outdoor unit unexpectedly, but the lead installer, Jerry, helped us figure out a suitable alternative. He was super patient while we went back and forth on where it would look best, and hot damn he made everything look neat as a pin, inside and out. The heat pump is working great, and we can’t thank you all enough for the excellent experience!

If you are looking for an honest company you found it. Moe is the best. He is so knowledgeable and can I say honest again. I had him come out to clean my furnace and get it ready for winter. But I also had him give me an estimate for a new furnace and A/C unit as well. I have been using Ponderosa since I moved here in 2011. They are the best.

A big thanks to Mo for coming out quickly to assess our min-split A/C needs. We spent time discussing the right unit type for the situation -- he was able to provide a fair estimate on the spot, and we scheduled installation for the following week. The Ponderosa installation team (Jon, Manuel, & Jerry) and electrician (Devin) were all excellent and ensured that placement of the head unit and condenser were to our satisfaction. They went out of their way to ensure that everything was clean and tidy and the impact was minimal. The unit is high quality has performed great, and is getting the job done. We recommend Ponderosa for high quality materials, workmanship, and service at a fair price.

I had to have my propane fireplace serviced. Spencer did a great job and explained what he was doing along the way Nice guy, very professional. I would highly recommend this business.

Ponderosa serviced our home equipment prior to us moving in. When we needed work done I went to them first. No response to the request on their website after a week so I called and spoke with a girl on the phone about getting a quote. I was told I would be called “right back” and that was last week. No response. I would not recommend this company for any repair requests considering they completely ignore those requests.

Edited after owner response: On cue, almost immediately after my review, I get 2 voicemails from this company. The first one was a “follow up phone call” to my request from over 2 weeks prior (they originally claimed they didn’t have that request but magically it appeared) and checking to see if I still needed help. He claimed they did respond because they called me and it went to voicemail but they didn’t leave a voicemail. Sure. The second call was extremely amusing. I recommend you guys figure out how to hang up appropriately instead of leaving all your business on a 3 minute voicemail for customers to hear while you talk about them. The girl on the message says she was “calling to follow up on my review” then in the background a guy yells at her to “Don’t say review” and then telling her she was “only calling me to return my service request call and to pretend like she didn’t know about the review” and “it’s not that late of a response to my request.” And so on.

MY experience with Ponderosa was unprofessional and lacked any ounce of integrity.

This team is fantastic. They took the time to thoroughly explain all the technical details and were completely transparent about the costs. When our 33-year-old furnace failed at the worst possible time, the owner personally came out on a freezing weekend to restore our second furnace, ensuring we stayed warm until the main installation was completed—which they finished in less than a day. Their professionalism, quality of work, and attention to detail were outstanding. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the entire experience and highly recommend them.

Ponderosa heating were really great. They came on a last minute notice to help troubleshoot issue with my boiler not heating hot water. The technician was willing to educate me and guide me on future maintenance.
