We needed a new a/c and furnace. I had 4 separate companies come out and bid the project. Howard (the owner) came out the same day for the quote and had the estimates to me by the next day. Of all the quotes I got, his was the only one that included pulling permits (which after doing a bunch of research was one of the things experts said should always be done by professional companies) and they're not cheap. His prices were straight forward (I paid the same amount as what we agreed upon before the installation). He literally stayed until 1 in the morning to get everything finished the day of the installation. Everything works great, and the temp in my house is AMAZING!!

While I've only had the new units for a couple days so far, I was extremely impressed with the process of bidding and installation and would highly recommend them. I've recommended them to my neighbors and plan to re-review in the winter once the furnace starts to be used.

Added since initial post:
The one negative thing I want to share is that when I had the inspector come to sign off on the install, he did require additional combustible air volume in the basement in order to sign off on it. This required putting a 6" vent to the outside of my home. When I called up Busy Bee, they said it was not included in the original quote and it would cost an additional service visit. I declined, since this is really easy to do. I just wish it was included originally in the quote, and just done at the time of the install.

I still would give them 5 stars, but just wanted to let people know about the extra visit thing

Needed someone to come out to help get a pilot relit on an indoor propane heater in a recently purchased old home. Consider I have no prior experience doing this, I wanted someone to come out to do it the first time for safety reasons. Orlando gave a head's up before coming out and asked details to ensure everything was ready. He asked if I'd tried a few things, which I hadn't. He walked me through it via text, and sure enough, I was able to get it to light myself. No trip, no charge, and was up and running. He (and The Bee) easily could have come out anyway, knowing it would be a cheap and quick fix and charge me not only a fee, but a long distance fee at that. Instead, they charged nothing at all, with excellent and fast (next day) service. I will absolutely be using The Bee Heat & A/C for all of my future needs. And thank you, Orlando, for your kind and expedient help!

Orlando and Alex came in and took care of our furnace and AC. The entire time they were working they made sure to communicate with each other and ensure they did not miss a step. Then they took the time to explain and show my husband and I what we needed to know about our Ecobee thermostat, our furnace and AC unit. Totally worth holding onto this number!

Very friendly when scheduling our first appointment, which was necessary because our AC failed the night before we departed on a trip! They happily scheduled a tech to fix it the morning after our return, on a Sunday! Extremely well organized and informative, from seeing a photo of the tech who was coming to our door to getting text updates prior to his arrival and lots of written and photo documentation afterwards. Their professionalism is through the roof -- we happily signed up for regular maintenance with them because they totally exceeded expectations (as well as our prior experiences with HVAC folks in other locations). We only wish we could give them MORE stars!

I can’t recommend The Bee enough. This is a real honest, hardworking company who treats their customers like gold. We had the Bee install a new AC unit. They were prompt, polite, and fair and did the work in a timely manner. Two years later, the caps on the AC were leaking coolant. Not only did they refill the coolant and fix the caps for free, but they noticed a leak in our water heater at the same time and fixed it, with no additional charge. These are real honest guys who are great to work with. I’ll never use another HVAC company! Thanks to The Bee!

They did such a great job installing our new central air unit. Very nice, professional company. I originally got a quote from Sears for over $7,500 for a new central air unit and Busy Bee only charged me $4600 for the same exact unit including install and a new thermostat. These guys are honest and do not overcharge you or try to sell you things you don't need. You can tell the owner takes a lot of pride in his company and it shows. I definitely highly recommend them and will be calling them only for all of my hvac needs.

Howard revamped our forced-air heating system: replaced the furnace inducer motor, added a heat register to an unheated bathroom ceiling, removed old and deteriorating insulation from the ducts, replaced much of the duct work and sealed all joints, and disassembled and removed an old furnace unit that had been left in the attic.

We were extremely pleased with his work. Prior to finding Busy Bee, we had two other furnace technicians come out to diagnose the problem. Each of them had a different opinion, but Howard's was the most informed and best explained. His knowledge--and his ability to explain complex information--was far superior to the that of the other technicians. Re: scheduling, he was responsive and communicative--keeping us up-to-date on his schedule, even though we were in the midst of a brutal cold snap and he had multiple no-heat calls to attend to.

On the day of the work he was timely and efficient. He was especially sensitive to my concerns about cleanliness. This was a messy attic job--many materials had to be removed from the attic and through the house--and Howard did a great job protecting the floors, disposing of refuse through a nearby window when possible, and cleaning up and removing all materials when finished.

Since the work, our system is running much better--blowing stronger and operating with greater efficiency. I highly recommend Howard and Busy Bee Heating and Cooling.

Orlando just finished up fixing my a/c. He was very fast and efficient, with his time and mine. The guy puts in some very long hours but you would never know it. He was extremely polite and professional. I would highly recommend Orlando to anyone for HVAC work.

Orlando, Kellen, and Mauricio worked around the clock and got my boiler and water heater replaced right away. They were very friendly and did a great job. The new system seems to be working very well so far. They were also very responsive and clean!

Our furnace / boiler system was 32 years old and needed to be replaced. Over the years, I have hired various HVAC contractors who replaced boiler components- zone valves, expansion tank etc. It’s one thing to replace an existing component but far more complex to redo the entire system. I feel fortunate that I found The Bee Heat and AC as Orlando and Kellen really know radiant heat. Their work is super clean. They even painted the concrete wall where they mounted the manifold because it “looks better”. These guys know what they are doing and take pride in their work. It’s hard to ask for much more.

Howard came out and gave an estimate. He was very kind, not pushy at all. Then we scheduled the appointment to have a new roof top evaporative cooler installed, and cleaning and maintenance done on the furnace. The technician Sam was very efficient, and meticulous in his work. Great company and will definitely do business with them again, and refer them to my family and friends!

Spencer was fantastic for our spring AC and Heater check-up! He was thorough and pointed out useful details during the inspection.

After collecting quotes from several different HVAC companies I decided to go with The Bee for a new AC. I have a house with vaulted ceilings that presented some challenges and I was really impressed with their commitment to getting it right. After being happy with their service and commutation I hired them to install a new boiler system which is used for heat at my house and was very impressed and happy with the service I received. Adrian, who handles boilers, is top notch. They weren't the cheapest, nor were they they most expensive, but they were committed to doing the job right.

My buddy recommended this company when my AC went out, so I gave them a call. They were super responsive and friendly. During my first scheduled appointment the tech's prior appointments ran long (these things happen) and he never showed. The company offered to waive the inspection fees and sent the tech out early the next day. Adrian came out and assessed the problem, gave me a quote promptly then installed the new units quickly and efficiently. These expenses are never fun but the folks at The Bee made it as pleasant as I think it can be.

We got a new AC and furnace installed through Busy Bee, Howard was extremely patient with our questions (I had no idea there was so much to choosing a furnace and AC). Howard did a great job of explaining the pros and cons of each option, was never pushy about anything, and worked with us on pricing. I feel like we got a great deal from Busy Bee and the product they install is great. Sam, whom installed our AC/furnace was professional, curtious, and did quality work. I honestly don't think I will consider anyone aside from Busy Bee for HVAC work in the future.

We ended up getting new air conditioner, furnace and tankless water heater a couple of years ago from The Bee. We appreciated that they were honest with us and told us we didn't have to replace right away. Appreciated no hard sell. It was affordable and work was done in a very timely manner. Very nice and professional from office to technicians.

I am blown away by the service that I received from Bee HVAC! They were quick, affordable and super professional! Russell came out quickly to provide an estimate and answered all of my questions. Anthony of Bee Heating and AC was excellent. He analyzed our problem quickly. The estimate from Bee was reasonable and Anthony performed the work quickly and efficiently. Anthony also took the time to suggest other things we could do to improve our cooling, such as a specific brand of thermostat when he had nothing to gain.

My wife and I had a great experience with The Bee Heat & AC. Sam, Kellen, and Orlando did a great job installing our new furnace. They were responsive, knowledgable, and respectful. And, Sam did above and beyond our expectation to ensure that we were happy, e.g. by ensuring that heating is even throughout the house, etc. Also, Alexis was helpful throughout with scheduling. I contacted The Bee and they respond first thing the next morning. They were at my door an hour later. Obed came and installed my thermostat and he was awesome, very respectful and professional. Unfortunately later that day my AC started acting up. (No fault of the bee it was just the unit itself.) It was later in the evening so we did have to wait for the next day, but even then they came as soon as they could. Fixed the issue and everything was back up and running! I greatly appreciate Obed and the team and highly recommend!
