November ‘23 …We had Build a Bath completely remodel our master bathroom. From the early discussion of possibilities and suggestions to the final wrapup, our experience was pleasant and productive.

Working with their designer was a happy exchange of possibilities and a smooth closing on decisions. Scheduling and price were no problem.

And the installation, accomplished by Robert, was one of our most positive home-improvement projects ever. Robert was diligent, deeply knowledgeable/skillful, ready with good suggestions, and so easy to work with. The fit and finish of his work are nothing short of outstanding. He is a Five-Star craftsman for sure.

Thank you for an excellent job!

We want to express our appreciation and share our experience regarding Build a Bath.
We are retired and through the years we have had remodeling projects. Build a Bath has shown great integrity by involving us in choices, being generous to involve us in laying out the plans and supporting our decisions and transparent billing information with the paying process in writing.
Dave and Marcello were primary in our remodeling, and we express
thanks for their expertise. Our remodel dream became a reality even finishing a head of time. Thanks to Jeff also in his expertise in project managing weekly. Dave and Marco were on time every day. They were clean and meticulous in their work …always checking that we were happy with their work and accommodating any change request.
Best crew we have used and would highly recommend.
    Steven and Julie Nix

We had the pleasure of working with Build a Bath for the remodel of our master bath. Everyone we worked with including Chris, Andy, Luis, and Josh were fantastic. Luis and Josh did most of the work. They were always on time and easy to talk with. Each of them kept us informed of the work progress on a daily basis. They cleaned up the work space each night and generally made the project easy to live with. There help has been appreciated. Use them!!

We contracted with Build A Bath to complete our bathroom construction. We had done most of the bathrooms, a master and a guest, but wanted a solid surface for the shower walls. Build A Bath was easy to work with, showed up when they said they would and did a great job on the showers. Thanks to Josh for his exemplary work on our showers, for showing up and keeping our house as clean as possible.

The team at Build a Bath was great. They came in at a price that was way better than their competitors. And as a small business, they put the needs of their customers first, and worked quickly to get our project scheduled and finished on time.

    An unmitigated disaster.

As noted by another recent customer who had a very bad experience, the "Professional Designer", Fred, assured us from the outset the job would be done professionally because they had all of their work done "in house". He reiterated this more than once, indicating everyone who worked on the project was an employee. THIS WAS A TOTAL LIE!!!! Every person who worked on this bath to shower conversion was a subcontractor. How can I prove this, because each subcontractor gave us his business card!!!!!

Communication with the company was incredibly consistent---i.e., ATROCIOUS. I repeatedly texted Fred throughout the course of a week with no response. When he finally texted back, he indicated he and his family were sick. Unless he was in a coma, or had had all of his fingers amputated, there is no excuse for not picking up your phone and texting you are sick and you will get back to us as soon as you have recovered.

Final meeting with the Fred (before deconstruction and construction was to begin) was like dealing with a 5 y.o. Sullen, no eye contact, with an undercurrent of irritability, he complained that we didn't appreciate how hard he had worked trying to match the quartz. Totally unprofessional.

Ryan, the first assigned project manager, also did not respond to multiple texts over the course of a week. As with Fred, he finally told us he was sick (must have also been in a coma, or had multiple digits amputated). Perhaps Build-A-Bath has the following employee policy: If you're sick, you don't need to let anyone know, especially your clients.

Finally, a date was set to begin the project. Waited several hours on the assigned date, and no one showed up. The inability to match the quartz turned out to be the delay. Guess what?????.....Ryan forgot to tell us that no one was coming. We were told he was subsequently terminated.

As the beginning of this project was already combusting, I called the office directly and asked to speak to the owner, Gerard. He never returned my call. Several weeks later, when I called again, I was informed by the receptionist, the owner had sold the company to one of the employees, Tyler.

Met with Tyler to go over the project. I asked him if he was aware of the idiosyncrasies of the project. He stated he "knew everything about it". As it turns out, the only thing he had was the original checklist from Fred. He knew nothing of the multiple changes we had made since the first meeting with Fred (before work had begun). He told us the project would probably be completed in 2 weeks. (IT TOOK 6 MONTHS!!!!!!!!)

Had to ask Tyler if we were ever going to have a starting date. He stated we would receive a starting date as soon as all the tile had arrived. Four days later, the last day of the expected tile arrival, Vlad and his crew showed up at our house to begin work, 10 minutes before I was planning to leave the house. NOBODY, INCLUDING TYLER , HAD EVER NOTIFIED US OF THE START DATE.

I sent an email to Tyler detailing the ongoing fiascos and the chronic and deplorable communications. He never responded. Two days later when he showed up at the job site, there was no apology, and he barely spoke. Horrible customer service. 2nd Build A Bath policy: If you make a mistake, don't apologize.

Demolition, construction, and tiling began. 7 days into this process, we were informed Build-A-Bath did not order enough tiles-----3 boxes short. We were subsequently told additional tiles have been ordered and “hopefully” they will be delivered by the end of the week; so, almost another week was lost trying to complete the project.

It went on, and on, and on, and on like this. The ONLY good thing about this nightmare was each subcontractor did an excellent job.

Our experience with Build A Bath has been wonderful. Tyler, our installer, was amazing. Professional, courteous and talented. He communicated with us about every detail and went above and beyond in every way. We were so impressed we've already booked another bathroom! Thank you Tyler and the team at Build A Bath.

We have a tiny bathroom that we really couldn't figure out what to do with. They did an amazing job from start to finish! Our installer, Josh, was great. Super communicative all the way through, but also just such a pro. Not only in his demeanor, but his work was impeccable. He even made friends with our cat! We would trust him and Build A Bath to do work on any part of our house in the future. In fact, we've already booked them for the next project!

We had a wonderful experience working with everyone at Build a Bath. They make it very easy by incorporating every trade you need to get the project done. Chris was patient with our decisions and provided advice on how things could look best with the rest of the house. Christoff did the installation and was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was very clean, respectful and easy to check in with every day. And the end product was beautiful. I enjoyed working with them so much I have decided to use them on another project.

We recently completed 3 full bathroom remodels with Build A Bath and could not be happier! Our initial consultation with Chris was great. He went out of his way to walk through all of our material choices with care, and even brought us additional samples to ensure we liked our choices. Jeff, the lead installer, was fantastic. He was extremely friendly and tidy and his work was outstanding! We spent so much time with him during the remodel and felt like he was part of the family! Tyler also assisted with the large master bath remodel and was so polite and hard-working. We are thrilled with the results and thank Andy and Build A Bath for such a positive experience.

Working with the guys at Build a Bath was a pleasure. From start to finish, the team provided friendly, thorough and responsive service in completing an extremely involved and complex project. Christophe did an amazing job of constructing our new steam shower. We can’t say enough about the quality of his work – constant attention to detail and respectful, friendly interactions during the process. Our shower has become a daily retreat and was well worth the money and time we invested. We would highly recommend Build a Bath and are thankful for the efforts of all of the guys – Andy, Chris, Christophe and Jeffrey – who we worked with.

Josh was the primary person who came on site to do our complete bathroom remodel. He had exceptional knowledge and understanding of the job at hand, from start to finish. From what I observed, Josh has an outstanding ability to anticipate and resolve all job site tasks and problems. He had a very positive and professional attitude the whole four weeks he was in our house.

Andy and the rest of the crew also had outstanding knowledge of what they were doing. When they installed our plumbing, it was a snap for this professional senior group. You cannot train or teach the knowledge and experience they have.

We had an excellent experience with Build A Bath. We knew we were in good hands when Stephen came to our house to provide an estimate. Very courteous and helpful during the process of design. When the work started we received Robert Kattness, He was absolutely amazing. Robert was very professional, completed his work quickly and always cleaned up the work area daily. His communication was great, always keeping us updated and providing helpful feedback through out the process. Build A Bath is lucky to have an associate like Robert.

8/2025 revision...Looks like the folks I worked with no longer own the biz so no longer can I recommend this company. Originally posted February 2024. Recently had a huge, outdated tub replaced with a beautiful, full, tiled shower. John did the remodeling in the most professional manner, from securing the bathroom to minimize dust, to the accurate tiling of walls and built in seat. Chris listened to what I was looking to have done and provided helpful ideas that I hadn't thought of. The plumbers, Rick and Rog, explained the reason for everything they needed to do for the shower and to replace two toilets. I couldn't be happier with the entire Build A Bath team and their work and that's why I've written this review.

We had a steam shower installed and small bathroom remodel completed last fall. All the work was completed by Johnathan, who did an excellent job from start to finish! He was thorough, clean and clearly an expert installer. He would arrive on time each morning, and leave with things tidied up until his return the following day. I have never witnessed such a great work ethic! The job was completed right on time, with the anticipated completion date. We couldn't be happier with our experience from BuildaBath and feel very fortunate we found them.

I NEVER write reviews but this company absolutely blew my mind with their talent and experience. From the beginning Build a Bath was exceptional in every way. From our design consult to the constant communication with the project manager and installer. There didnt go a day when we didn’t know exactly what the plan was. Everyday the installer informed us of what happened that day and what the plan was the following day. The craftsmanship was extraordinary and I couldn’t be more happier with how our master bathroom turned out. We will be having them do our kitchen and other bathrooms soon. Thank you to everyone at Build a Bath!!!

We moved into our house at the start of 2020 and the master bathroom was at the top of our to do list. Not only was it seriously outdated but the previous owners had done a self-reno which resulted in a nasty sewer smell on occasion. Build A Bath did a great job basically gutting the bathroom and building an upscale replacement. :) Jeffrey deserves most of the credit for this as he worked diligently on it for about 2 weeks and was very friendly and easy to work with. Although he was also, I think, responsible for a couple of issues that had to be resolved after the fact by Dana (not sure about that spelling). But all in all, the customer service was responsive and excellent and the final product looks great. I should also mention Chris who came out initially and worked with us to select the tiles and colors. And Andy who was always friendly and checked in with us fairly often to make sure everything was good. We paid I believe a premium price for the reno but it was well worth it and we would most certainly do business with them again!

Absolutely amazing work! Could not be more thrilled with our new master bath. From Andy (the owner) to Chris (our designer) to Josh (the guy who did absolutely ALL the work) we were so pleased with every step. They completed the work on time and on budget, and were a joy to work with. Would 100% hire them again and recommend to all my friends.

We chose Build A Bath to do a full remodel of our master bath and it turned out excellent, it is our own private oasis! Andy and his team are very good with executing on a plan and making things happen. We had a couple snafus in the install which Andy made right 100% and then some. From the tile to the tub to the shower to the water closet, everything is of exceptional quality and looks great. Andy is very adept at taking a vision and making it a reality and we couldn't be happier with the end result. He is a great project manager too and kept us up to speed on project status and next steps on a continuous basis. Andy and his team added an outlet inside the cabinets, and Andy even stuffed some extra insulation around the tub to keep the water hot longer and that sure works great--both of which are minor things that make a big difference in the daily use of the bathroom! In all I would highly recommend Build A Bath to help you get your bathroom remodel dream turned into a most excellent reality--it is a MAJOR undertaking and having Andy and his team to guide the design and execute the dream turned out to be a great decision!
