Jake's Carpet and Duct Cleaning are wonderful! Excellent customer service. Love the natural, plant-based products they use. They did a phenomenal job with our carpet!! They even helped us understand the expected life span of our carpet and where it's at now in that life span. They saved my husband and me from having to replace the carpet at least for the next few years!! We're glad we hired them. You won't regret it!

I had Jake out after having someone else that did a terrible job. The difference was REMARKABLE. The carpet is BRIGHTER, cleaner, with all stains now gone. Jake takes pride in his work and it shows in the results!!

Update 11/2025 Great experience with Jake’s. This year it was time to clean all our ducts, our dryer vent, and each of our bathroom fan vents. Remembered our home layout and some of our previous more challenge (caked & dirty) areas. Worked very diligently to address everything. Great communication before, during and at the end of the process. Super easy to book appointment on the website. Highly recommend! Looking forward to continuing to use their expertise in the future!

Highly recommend Jake’s! The team cleaned our air ducts last year as well as our dryer vent! Not only did they clean our dryer vent - when they found a previously created issue they showed me and fixed it immediately! They were friendly, professional, excellent communicators and know their stuff! Very easy to book online. So happy that they cleaned our bathroom fans and the dryer vent again today! Looking forward to having them help us again in the future! Enjoy being a repeat customer!

Jake's did a wonderful job cleaning our carpet and even got a spot out they weren't sure they could clean. They worked with us on our scheduling issues (death in the family and street paving to name a few) and were very gracious about it. They had to work around piles of furniture and belongings due to our basement flooding and had no problem doing that. We were so happy with their service that we are getting our ducts cleaned with them as well. They also cleaned our couches and they look great! Professional, courteous, great cleaning!

Jake’s was very thorough very efficient beyond that very friendly quality service. I would recommend them to anyone. I felt so comfortable. I left my home in their hands and went to Home Depot and they locked my home up for me besides that they did the most thorough job I’ve seen in a long time, it was an hour quicker than they thought my house smelled amazing. Everything looked fresh. I got air duct, cleaning and carpet cleaning and it was all done within four hours those out there looking for quality carpet and air duct cleaning. I would recommend them over Stanley steamer any day , they are a small business but they have that quality and care and very efficient. I like to support the little guy. The little guy comes with quality and pride in their work and who they are and in the care for their customer God bless jake’s

Positives: The technicians were pleasant, punctual and they were able to show up the next day from when I contacted them.

Areas for Improvement:

They left a dusting of dirt and hair (from the ducts) covering almost the entire interior of my house including on the dishes, toothbrushes, countertops (pictures attached).  IF this dusting was unavoidable, they should’ve at least notified me in advance so I could have prepared (i.e. put away my personal belongings and would not have cleaned the house thoroughly the day before their arrival.

They provided more of a vacuuming service of the ducts vs. cleaning.

After they left, I went to put on the registers (which I had to clean myself) and noticed a decent amount of leftover hair, small objects and dirt left in the registers (pictures attached).  I ended up re-vacuuming and cleaning the registers myself.

They could’ve been more thorough and attentive to details such as not leaving trash/old filter in my driveway, putting things back as they found them, making sure to ask about dryer vent, closing the gate behind them before they left so the dog didn’t get out.

Other companies indicated they would clean the registers and register covers this company did not.

Other companies indicated the job would take approx. 3 hrs.  This company was only on site for about an hour

Expected better for the price paid, other companies seemed to offer more at a lower price.

I am so heartbroken to have to write this review. I used Jake’s Carpet and Duct Cleaning (Jake’s Certified Air Duct and Carpet Cleaning) a year ago to clean my relatively new house carpet. I can say that I was satisfied and was planning on scheduling with them again until recently. Jake’s techs leave you with a free bottle of their 100% plant based spot cleaner when they finish their job. It is a pretty smart marketing move and useful as a homeowner. I have used the spot remover here and there on my synthetic carpet for minor spots over the year. This past week my son spilled some 2% milk on my wool rug in the living room (the rug is less than a year old) so I grabbed my handy spot solution and sprayed, waited, and blotted. As soon as I returned to blot up the product I noticed the spot yellow/browned. It went from a non-visible spot that I feared would smell to a very visible yellow. I called Jake’s right away to discuss the issue. They indicated that their solution is wool safe (although I can’t really tell what is supposed to be in it) and that I should try flushing the spot to see if it was excess product on the rug. I did this and would say it had limited success as I think (or I want to tell myself) the spot seemed less visible. I called back and they said they would send out their techs to check it out. Today, Derek and Curtis showed up to look at the spot. They asked to see the spot solution and I gave it to them. Upon unscrewing the cap they stated it didn’t really smell or look like their current stuff (it was visibly a tan color). Curtis mentioned that sometimes the bottom of their solution “barrels” smell that way. Like a complete dumb dumb I let Curtis dump the product down the drain and refil the spray bottle. Derek suggested he bring in his equipment to clean the spot. 10 minutes later the spot was no less visible. Curtis was short with me telling me I needed to put a pot and towel on top of the spot for 24 hrs. I was shocked that he couldn’t tell that the spot wouldn’t be fixed with a towel. He asked me, “What do you want us to do about it?” to which I responded either remove the spot or replace the rug. He told me I could call in after 24 hrs if the pot “trick” didn’t work. After he left Derek came back to the door to let me know that they had a satisfaction guarantee and that since the product ruined the rug they would purchase a new one as he knew the spot would not come out anymore than it had. He asked me to provide a receipt or a screenshot of the rug from Pottery Barn’s website (which I did right away). Two hours later while in Target I got a call from Derek, not Jake the owner himself, saying that Jake, Derek, and Curtis collectively met and decided that because this has never happened to anyone else it had to have been me altering their product. I was literally in tears in Target trying to explain that I didn’t do anything to the product. Why would I alter a product and then put it on my new rug? Derek informed me that their satisfaction guarantee doesn’t apply to my rug because they didn’t clean it and they don’t believe me that I used their solution. I feel that I need to post this review because I have previously recommended this company on both Facebook and Nextdoor App. I love supporting small local businesses and I am so hurt that I was burned this time.

Jake's Air Duct and Carpet Cleaning is absolutely amazing! The carpets look incredible, and they made our 10 year old sofa look like new! It also feels really good knowing that the air ducts and dryer vents are clean! This is the 2nd time we've used them for air duct and carpet cleaning and my only regret is waiting 6 years between visits! They are professional, friendly, and the results are phenomenal! I highly recommend!

Great experience with Jake’s! They called ahead and showed up early. Knowledgeable and friendly guys. It’s hard to get vendors to come out to where I live, especially great ones, would highly recommend Jake’s!

Jake was amazing he cleaned hvac ducts and mold fogged entire house. Did a great job.

Curt and Co. did a great job cleaning our duct system. One of our ducts had developed mold which they treated with their atomizer / allergen treatment. That aside, they removed a good amount of debris from our ducts and were courteous and informative.

This is soe of the stuff that came out of my airducts. Jake was very meticulous and did an excellent job cleaning the air ducts and he even washed the registers. I highly recommend his service as he earned every penny.

The workers that showed up to my house were very nice and efficient. They were able to clean my townhome in about an hour and a half for the carpeted stairs, the air ducts and the dryer vent. So much stuff came out of the air ducts and the carpet, they did a great job and I love their all natural and pet safe safe carpet cleaner. Had a great experience!

Jake arrived at our house on time, thoroughly assessed the job, quoted a fair price, and worked all day to complete the job. He cleaned all the HVAC ducts, took apart and cleaned bathroom fans, and cleaned the furnace and dryer ducts. We have already hired him again for furniture and rug cleaning.

Jacob came by to clean out the ducts in my house and was super friendly, professional and did a great job! He was not only personable but took the time to say hi to my kids as well which made their day. Highly recommend their service as they are great at their profession as well as extremely personable!!!

He cleaned air ducts that hasn't been cleaned for probably over 20 years. He also fogged the ducts and whole house.

I learned we should be cleaning air ducts at least every year. No more than 2 years. I will also include the whole house fogging in the future, it smells so good now!!
