I would never go with another company for my landscaping design or maintenance needs! They were very professional and efficient. The employees were friendly and very knowledgeable if I had questions. Great company!!

I am a property owner and find LID to be very collaborative and flexible. For instance, under this time of COVID, we can turn off services on a session by session basis. They are a well-oiled and efficient organization.

These folks have done two project for me now and I will use them again. The project manager assigned to me was a great fit and clearly 'gets me' and what I'm trying to do. Not outrageously expensive in the grand scheme of things and always focused on doing the right thing by their clients.

Every person involved in my project was friendly, experienced and most of all listened to what I had to say. When I made a change in the mittle of the project, it was understood and I was informed of
the delay because of it.

Did a neighbor’s back yard and had to access through our driveway and walkway. Damaged walk, went on for days, other neighbors couldn’t access their driveways because of trucks on our tiny street. To top it off, power washing of our driveway and street was done off my house’s tap without permission!! LID gets a star because workers were very courteous. Morgan, project manager, said he’d try to get our walkway upgraded after the noise, wear, and tear. He never responded to my request. He obviously didn’t even try!

I've used LID for years. Their work is excellent and efficient. Crews handle everything with professionalism. Customer service is always great!

LID did our original landscape many years ago. We have been customers ever since. They are reliable, competent and service oriented. Would recommend them.

We use L.I.D. Landscapes for our snow removal. If there is a storm forecasted, we receive a detailed weather forecast, and when they predict they will be able to finish our property. These kind of details are very helpful! I don't have to worry about snow removal at all.

Not recommended for large jobs unless you want to manage the entire project yourself. Expensive and their work is not done correctly. Three years out, I'm reaping the rewards of poor construction and dead plantings. Avoid this company at all costs. There are better more professional landscape companies in Boulder County. Here is my story.....I hired and used LID for an extensive landscape project at my house three years ago. Cost of the work was in excess of $120,000 so a very large job. Job was supposed to start in late summer and be finished prior to winter. Job went six extra months and wasn't finished until May of the following year. Large landscape rocks that were mistakenly left in a location over the winter months, were actually left there when the job was finished. These were rocks that were supposed to be placed by a professional landscape architect. I had to oversee the construction management of the work because no one was supervising the twenty year old kids smoking and not working on the job. LID complained to me of "this is taking longer than we thought". Well if they would have actually managed their labor, the hours would have been within budget. I had to push and fight for additional plantings and rocks to make my property look nice. LID will do everything they can as cheap as possible to make them more money. The completed work looks more like a Target parking lot with basic plants/bushes/trees. Nothing unique or ornate about their work. I've had six large trees die outside of my one year warranty. I had an arborist look at the trees and they were planted incorrectly. The burlap sack and wire mesh were left in place on the root balls. Three years out when the trees try to expand their roots, they get stressed and die. LID does this to save time on installation and also their staff is not overseen to make sure things are planted properly. The arborist knew of LID and said this is a know issue with them and most arborists in Boulder do not recommend LID. During installation of grass on my property, LID drove a large dump truck over my leach field. LID was fully aware of the leach field location and knew not to drive on it. Fortunately I've had no issues with the leach field and had to get an "indemnity letter" from LID for my leach field prior to making final payment. Don't make the mistake I did, avoid LID. They are expensive and do poor work and are poorly managed. I'd be happy to show you my lot and landscaping to make your decision easier.

L.I.D. was amazing from start to finish. Even though it was a smaller space they treated it and my vision for it like it was a major project. Ryan was wonderful to work with and he made sure every detail was exactly what I was hoping for. I LOVE my back yard and would not hesitate to call on L.I.D. for any future needs. Thank you!!!
