LID Landscapes provided great landscape design options, and implemented our chosen design with professionalism and clearly with great care to make things perfect. They also were able to make changes and additions that we requested, as we saw the design implementation take shape. I strongly recommend LID Landscapes to revamp your outdoors.

LID Landscapes are always on task per our contract agreement. If anything happens that we need their assistance with they are very quick to respond and address the issue. They provide service to us for all seasons and we highly recommend LID. They are reliable, responsible and the best out there.

JBB Realty has had a yearly landscape management contract With LID for our building. LID has been working with us for 3 years and we have been very happy with their services and plan to continue.They also manage the irrigation system at our home. I am hoping to get together with them in the near future for some desert landscaping at the house

The customer service is attentive and proactive. The technician Blake was knowledgable and did a thorough job, even working through pouring rain to finish a big job within the quoted time period. My concerns and questions were responded to quickly, and I found their rates reasonable.

LID poorly manages their crews in my opinion and over charges for their services. I was home everyday and observed how their crews were managed. They Show up around 9am at best, “prep the job site “ until around 10:15-10:30 and then take a break until 11am work until 12pm take an hour lunch break and then work until 3pm. Typically on my job there was one guy on the crew out of 3/4 who worked. It took them roughly a month or longer for them to finish my job which was small( originally quoted $100k for roughly 10,000sqft lot including house and front yard) this was only for the back yard. If their crews actually would put in a full days work including weather, my job would have taken maybe at most half the time and it would have cost at best 3/4 of what it did at their prices in my opinion. They advertise their high end, I personally believe I could have achieved the same results with half the cost. Strongly suggest going somewhere else, I’ve pointed out to them concerns around potential issues with how they designed my control box for the sprinkler system, which consistently floods during large amounts of rain and is slow to drain. They told me that they don’t believe it’s an issue and if the pipes freeze before the 1yr warranty to call them. If I want to move it before then to prevent potential issues, I could have them move it at my cost. There were other issues and examples of over charging but too much for a post. I recommend going elsewhere and you’ll get more for your money. Happy to show what was done to help you make an educated decision. Highly recommend going elsewhere, LID is definitely not worth the money in my opinion.

We are very happy with the work Jacob Rogers and LID did on our landscaping. Jacob listened to what we wanted to change and offered many suggestions on how to make it work and ways to keep costs in line with our budget. The installation went very smoothly and we had a crew that was friendly, courteous and worked hard. I was also impressed with the followup after the work was complete. A newly planted wasn't doing well and it was removed and replaced very quickly. We also found that one of the plants that was supposed to be the same as several others, was something different, and again LID came back and replaced the plant. From the design to the installation and the follow up, we have been very happy with Jacob and LID.

Our business is an early childhood education center with a mission and vision of sustainability, resilience and experiential education for a whole person and planet, so our outdoor learning environments are very much part of our program. LID has really partnered alongside with usnt landscapes, connected tree canopies, creating biodiversity and supporting improved air quality and even positive mental health! Some of this has meant that our business mission really challenges traditional and conventional landscape practices, and we’ve really appreciated all of the contributions of our LID team members to listen, adapt, respond, and be part of the solution, in addition to the quality of the work from all of the team. We appreciate all of the many people at LID who have made the effort to build a relationship with our business and community.

Matt and his team were excellent. Matt prepared a pleasing design and stayed on top of the execution, including meeting with us a couple of times to answer all of our questions. His team did a lot of heavy lifting, and all were very cordial. They wanted to please.

We have worked with LID Landscapes on a number of projects at our home. They are not the least costly landscaping option, but the quality of work is worth any extra expense. Nice people, work done on budget, on time and site left spotless. What more could you ask for?

Our experience with LID has been very positive. A large part of that is Ryan (Design build manager) and his responsive, transparent and customer-centric communication. LID has redone our entire landscaping (front and back) and the transformation is amazing. Yes, they are expensive but having watched the work, it is well worth it. Every new structure (deck, flagstone, new path, etc) was reinforced with an eye to the future upkeep.
The part that really stands out for us is beyond the initial work we contracted. Ryan and his team have done multiple walkthroughs, been responsive to our complaints and have taken action on the ones that make sense. Such a large project has inevitably led to some plants no thriving, some minor issues with lights and the usual aging, one year later. Ryan and his crew show up, diagnose the problem and fix the issues or give us advice. Excellent customer service!

My husband, Don, and I have worked with LID for over 10 years. We have always been pleased with their various yard services. The staff at LID is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend LID!

I have had a truly lovely experience with LID Landscaping over the past four years I've worked with them. They provide quality service, they are professional and courteous to work with, and they guarantee their work. I have had all my irrigation needs, weekly mowing services as well as landscape design done through LID. They are quite popular so you will need to plan to book in advance.

I have used LID Landscapes for over fifteen years. They always provide reliable service for sprinkler turn ons in the spring and winterization in the fall as well as complete sprinkler repairs. They have provided beautiful landscape design and planting at my home. It is easy to schedule work in a timely manner and I would highly recommend them.

We have worked with LID on a multitude of landscape projects in the past 5 years and we’ve been pleased with each one. Matt is easy to work with, has great ideas and is very honest and upfront about cost and timing.

LID seamlessly stepped into two very sudden property maintenance requests and took over the maintenance and irrigation having had no advance warning. The properties were immediately visited, any of my questions answered thoroughly, contracts produced that were clear, fair and not one revision was needed.

This was a highly unusual level of response by any type of business but even more deeply appreciated was the instantaneous response to a major basement leak that occurred at this time due to very recent incorrect drainage work by another firm. Scott Natter addressed the problem with immediate temporary relief to the drainage, design work and installation of a new exterior drainage system. He provided constant supervision and I don't believe any company could possibly match the quality of the work or the amazing time frame to make the home, basement and foundation safe once more.

I feel very pleased and grateful beyond words to LID

L.I.D. (Matt McMillan) provided amazing service starting with an on-site meeting to go over our projects at which time offering ideas to enhance the two different projects. The easily scheduled project start date(s) involved Matt going over the project details again with us (and work crew) to make sure we’re all on the same page, this process was reassuring to know we’re starting off on a positive note. The work crew were friendly, trustworthy and well skilled at their craft. Both projects were completed beyond our expectations - thanks so much!

We have had LID as our irrigation provider as long as we have lived in Boulder (14 years). They have given us excellent service over these many years. They are somewhat pricey, but they do good work and stand behind it.

We have used LID to provide landscape services since 2009. We’ve hired them to do many projects—from major design to regular maintenance at two different houses. They have a knowledgeable hardworking staff who is always pleasant and tries to be as accommodating as possible. We highly recommend them!

I have used LID Landscapes to set up and maintain my irrigation system for the past four years. Their service has been consistently excellent. They can be counted on to attend to all of the details of this system from minor to major issues. When needed they have made special trips to keep the irrigation system running reliably. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We have used LID Landscapes for 4 years now. All of the work has been first class. Survival rate of plantings has been exceptional. They are very responsive to any questions we ask or landscape additions we request. Everything is cleaned up after any work is done. Again, nothing but a good experience. We are gone 6 months of the year, but the property is maintained immaculately. Winter watering, if required, is a nice feature.

Our landscape needs were specific. We needed a non-combustible barrier 5' wide around our house, we had a small area where we wanted a native flower bed and hardscape built around a birdbath boulder. Most other landscaping companies wanted to do a total yard plan with beautiful drawings and plants they selected. Our LID designer listened to what we wanted, sketched a design and was willing to work flexibly with us as adjustments seemed necessary. We are very happy with the design.

The installation crew was very helpful and accommodating in positioning the birdbath boulder. The boulder weighs about 900 pounds and they worked carefully to position it so the water flows exactly where it needs to be.

Our LID designer tried to accommodate our native plant desires. We went through many plant list iterations, but we are finally satisfied with the plants.

Overall we are happy with the results of our project. It's a great improvement to our yard and exceed our expectations.
