I am very pleased with the work that J & S delivered for my backyard (new build in Erie). Ryan and team were very thoughtful, and exceeded our expectations with the patio and water feature. The pricing was very fair, and we got good value for our investment. They followed up with winter maintenance tips, and have been quick to answer questions. I would recommend this company!

Great people to work with and outstanding work. We moved into a newly constructed home this year that needed the entire backyard landscaped. Scott worked with us to create a design that we were happy with, presenting a proposal then tweaking based on our input, including plant selection and placement. It was a very personal, hands-on approach. Scott provided and estimate based on the design, with all details, and the project came in right on the numbers – no surprises.

The work was done in a little over a week and everyone on the crew was professional, easy to work with, and clearly took pride in their work. For example, sprinkler placement, while planned out, was adjusted on-site where need; trees were placed in final spots based on our input at the time; accent boulders carefully placed to maximize their appearance, and clean-up done at the end of each day.

The company and everyone we worked with could not have been better. Very highly recommended!

Superlatives are often questionable, but believe this one: J&S is the best landscaper my husband and I have worked with over many, many years of building new houses. Scott Haugland’s execution and management combined with his and Mike Woods’ design of our new home’s landscape plan was exceptional. The entire project was such a pleasure to experience as the crews arrived promptly, worked long hours and were clearly experienced and specialized in each area of their responsibility. From plants to hardscape to fencing to a bocce court, the work was done in a caring, accommodating, professional manner. Scott is an outstanding leader and gentleman, whose crew obviously respects his leadership. We really appreciated and recognized that Scott, who has been in the business since he was a teenager, was at our home every day bright and early to ensure crews, supplies and materials were arriving just as they were needed and planned. He continues to stop by to ensure the systems are working as appropriate. Scott and Mike were a pleasure to work with, and the various J&S crews were incredibly committed, polite and hard working. Their attention to detail is unsurpassed. We could not be happier with what we consider a beautiful enhancement to our new home and the neighborhood. J&S is simply the best.

We couldn't have been happier. Mike's design reflected his knowledge of plants that do well in our area, his talent for design, and genuine interest in what we wanted. The crew's workmanship was excellent and they were pleasant to work with - always being careful to cleanup each day. Once the project started, they came every day until the it was completed. Scott was always available to answer questions and there was followup by Scott and his crew that is rare nowadays. We will definitely use them again.

They were excellent. They turned what was a muddy, weedy, overtaken by invasive wild garlic yard… into a wonderful warm, relaxing, and great space for us and our pet to enjoy.
The work was done timely, and without any interruption, and extremely professionally.
Communication was easy and always available.
And a year later Scott is still checking up to ensure we are happy.

If I could give 100 stars, I would! Scott, Ryan, Jesus, Pedro and the teams were so wonderful! They made our yard a paradise. They were so professional every step of the way- finished right on time and right on budget. We are so incredibly grateful. They truly have made our lives better because now we get to spend time in a tranquil and peaceful yard every day! Even after the work was finished, we’ve had questions and Scott and the team answer them right away. I can’t say enough good things! Thank you!!

We had such a great experience working with Levi and his team. Our backyard looks incredible thanks to him and his hardworking, talented crew. Professional, on time, and respectful. Every detail was thoughtfully done. We felt the price was fair and Levi always made sure to be transparent with us for any changes that would result in cost changes (which only occurred because we made the changes). And the final result truly transformed our outdoor space. It's rare to find a company that combines quality craftsmanship with great customer service, but they absolutely delivered both. We highly recommend them.

Levi was the best of three bids about six years ago. Best not meaning just the lowest price. It was price, design, integrity, follow up and even the way he works with his crew. I'd love to give you the old house address, but it has a new owner (not appropriate). But the three berms out front; placement of rock and boulders; design in back that in this case was total xeriscape. We often had golfers stop and talk to us over the fence remarking how great our landscaping looked.
Six and half years later, we built again. And, of course, we called Levi and company.
He does some large estate homes and some commercial too. Our new house is smaller than the last and we only used him for the back 2/3 of the lot (HOA demanded the front elevation).
Even though it wasn't the biggest job he didn't hesitate to work with our budget and once again, we have a "brag-worthy" space for ourselves and our guests.
Without hesitation, we recommend Levi and The Landscape Company. Good man, good workers, good designs, reliable! Since it's post frost, the vegetation doesn't look great but the boulders, berms and xeriscape do!

I hired Levi and The Landscape Company to transform my yard for our water-scarce future. Levi came up with a design which was original, dramatic and very attractive. He managed to incorporate all my half thought out ideas about what I wanted into an attractive plan blending new features into what I already had planted. The Landscape Company team was cheerful, efficient and effective, and always willing to graciously make adjustments to please my sense of what I wanted my yard to look like. Plus they provided immediate (and very patience and courteous ) follow-up when I encountered a random occurrence problem with my irrigation system.

Having lived with my yard for six months I want to make some additions and corrections. I have already contacted Levi about them and I look forward to working with The Landscape Company again. I know they will do what they said they will do, when they said they would do it and for the price they said they would charge.

Levi executed a phenomenal design for our residential property. He has great technical skills and was able to provide us with a design rendering based on our desire to convert our current landscaping to one with a water-wise design. Levi listens closely, explaining things such as native plants, limitations and best options based on soil type, platte, watering needs, city-approved designs and regulations and more. He responded quickly to my calls and came out several times in person so that we could view and discuss my plans. I have the utmost respect for Levi and The Landscape Company.
