We had a fantastic experience with TLC, Levi and his team! They came in and worked on our yard for 2 weeks and were done. Plus the knowledge of the whole team is great. I would recommend them for any landscape project.

Levi and crew did an exceptional job of bringing our landscape design to life. Fast and efficient, his team was quick to communicate questions or concerns, offering suggestions to keep the project on track. When challenged with unique design requirements for the irrigation system, he provided a simple, elegant solution. Able to visualize artistically in 3 dimensions, he helped us select the perfect boulders. He then placed each thoughtfully to best enhance the overall design. If you are looking for something beyond the ordinary, Levi will deliver.

Dave provided a great solution for a dog potty area and to make our tiny area nice. He provided several options and choices in his quote via email. Dave & his team came prepared and worked efficiently to finish the job in one day. Throughout he communicated clearly and was a pleasure to work with.

My job was started on time, the project was completed in 2 days, and the team left no trace they'd be in my yard other than beautiful new sod, mulch, shrubs, and landscaping. Dave has been most helpful in the after-planting care of both the landscaping that he completed as well as the existing vegetation that is outside his scope of responsibility. Glacier View is a class act from initial bidding to final clean up.

I engaged with Glacier View to do my landscaping for my backyard in a new build. Having no idea what would grow or provide the privacy I wanted, I was hoping Glacier View would be able to provide me with a beautiful custom backyard. Most of my neighbors only have grass, and I wanted something gorgeous that was also low maintenance.

Glacier View delivered. They were busy from when I contacted them in February until my landscaping was done in November. I was told a mid-November install, and that is precisely when it happened. Glacier View was accurate on expectations from 9 months out, which I find really impressive.

As far as the work, everything was high quality materials, and this group pays attention to details. The owner does an amazing job of educating on maintenance and how to make your new plants succeed. The ability for Glacier View to lay everything out so carefully as to maximize privacy is admirable. I would definitely use Glacier View in the future.

Worked with Glacier Landscaping to get some garden boxes built. It was a great experience from beginning to end. Dave was professional and realistic with us about timing and cost of the project. He was responsive and easy to get in touch with.

We purchased a home with builder grade landscaping that needed a transformation. Dave and his team did an fantastic job. Working together, a design was developed appropriate for our property. Care was used in choosing the right plants and materials for the yard. The team was prompt, professional and hard-working. We love the results!

David and his staff are highly knowledgeable and professional. David offers multiple options that will accommodate the desired outcomes. Friendly, reliable with a high quality work product. I strongly recommend Glacier for any projects. We are extremely happy with our trees, sandboxes, borders and shrubs. Many people in our neighborhood have used David as word of mouth and the visible results speak for themselves.

Dave and his team did an outstanding job on a large landscaping project in our front yard. From start to finish, they were thoroughly professional and reliable, and Dave's design looks beautiful.

I reached out to Dave to help with a landscaping makeover that our yard needs. His promptness and attention to detail to get a full bid to me was awesome!!! He detailed the plants, locations, and total project in a way that was so helpful to me in visualizing what could be done. I really appreciated his communication and look forward to working with Glacier View!

Dave and Glacier View did an amazing job with our backyard, had it done on time and under budget. We couldn't be happier with how our yard turned out. After two years without a finished yard we can finally use our entire property how it was meant to be used.

For anyone who is looking to get their yard upgraded, fixed or finished look no further. They will have your yard looking great in no time.

I deferred to Dave about plants and their arrangement in a new back yard in Candelas and do not regret it--his suggestions ended up looking great, although our needs were modest. The HOA readily approved everything (because Dave was meticulous about plans and choice of materials). I also very much appreciated the careful, detailed quote he submitted promptly after his estimate visit.

The 50/50 mixture of gray breeze and 3/8" black granite chip he put down on our walkway is remarkably resilient--it looks good, but does not shift around despite quite a number of lawnmower transits along the path. His choice of edging stone was very attractive--he appears to have good access to materials from up and down the Front Range.

I also liked having Dave and his crew on site--there was huge progress and every day and there was none of the confusion I heard neighbors complain about from their landscapers, probably because Dave was present all the time.

Dave looked in our the plantings several times during the fall--much appreciated.

I strongly recommend Glacier View and Dave White.

We would highly recommend this company. They started the job at the time promised and finished on time (maybe because Dave works with his crew). We had some stone work done previously by another company and were trying to match the stone, adding a planter wall and additional walkway for this project. Dave and his stonemasons matched the stone perfectly. The plants selected were gorgeous and fit into the existing landscape beautifully. We have received numerous compliments and love spending time on our patio. It's also lovely to look at from inside.

When I first started calling around for landscapers, Dave was the best at getting back to me and promptly scheduling a no-charge consultation (not everyone does that.) He actually listened to what I wanted, and then delivered everything and finished ahead of schedule. The retaining wall is so pretty; I keep driving by my house just to look at it. And I can't wait to plant veggies in the large planters he built for me. I was impressed that he worked with the other guys, making sure everything was correct and moving along. I highly recommend Glacier View Landscape and Design.

The important bits: Dave and his company, Glacier View Landscape, are awesome. Very easy to work with, fairly priced, efficient, and thoughtful. We could not be happier with our new backyard, complete with new plants, grass, flagstone patio, built-in vegetable gardens, and in-ground irrigation system, all completed in six working days. Amazing!

The story: My wife and I knew at some point we were going to need to deal with the horrible Do-It-Yourself landscape job a previous owner had done to the backyard. It was a disorganized mess of pavers, thinly-applied Home Depot mulch, inappropriate plants, and a LOT of rocks and weeds.

With winter fading, we thought: This is it. This is the year. We can't take another summer of the backyard gravel pit. I started calling local landscaping companies. The big name companies with the fancy trucks didn't bother to call back; many of the small shops turned out to be little more than a guy with a lawnmower, which kinda stretches the definition of "landscaper" to me. And then I found Dave. He called back promptly, and followed up with an e-mail. He was standing with me in the evil backyard just a few days later.

Dave listened carefully to our somewhat random goals (I quickly realized how little thought we had put into the actual details of what we wanted the yard to be). There was our wish list (a flagstone patio; an area of grass; new plants, shrubs and trees; permanent vegetable beds; etc.) and the problems we needed solved (irrigation; stabilize the little-used north side yard, and improve the aesthetics and function of the south yard; etc.) Dave intrinsically understood the balance of budget-friendly, practical, and beautiful we were looking for, and started to form a plan that made sense right away. His depth of knowledge of materials and plants is amazing, describing exactly what he thought would be appropriate. At no point did I feel like he was trying to get us to spend more than we were comfortable with, and was straightforward in explaining costs and value. When I hemmed and hawed about how disruptive the installation of an in-ground irrigation system might be (our house had no accommodation for one), he scheduled a separate visit with his installer so they could walk me through the process and make sure I understood the pros and cons (again, with zero pressure). We hadn't even committed to using Dave as our landscaper at that point, yet he was investing time and effort to explain the details of his plan. It was an easy decision to move forward.

Dave and crew were able to begin only a couple months later, right at the beginning of spring. I cannot stress enough how much I appreciated Dave's approach: One job at a time, always on-site, working alongside his crew. They were unbelievably quick, organized, and thorough. They had disassembled and hauled away the majority of the old backyard by the end of the first day, with the rest of the elements quickly coming together in the days that followed. Dave was always willing to stop and explain what they were doing and what they hoped to do next, and answer any questions I had. His crew was polite and personable. They arrived every morning ready to work, worked hard, and cleaned up our outdoor common areas each day before they left.

When everything was done, Dave walked me through the backyard and made sure I was happy with everything, explaining the care of our new plants, the flagstone patio, and the freshly-laid sod. He encouraged me to e-mail if I had any questions, and indicated he would keep in touch to tell me when I should adjust the irrigation system as the new plants established themselves.

I cannot recommend Dave and Glacier View Landscape enough. Great people to work with, and stellar results. Once our home improvement budget recovers, we'll definitely have him back to work his magic on the front yard as well.

Our experience with Glacier View Landscape and Dave White, the owner, was well below our expectations. I have been a registered landscape architect for 35 years and I am experienced in all phases of design and construction, and have worked with many landscape contractors over this time. You have to know 4 things about our experience with Glacier View landscape and Dave White the owner: 1) Dave White’s integrity and professionalism was exposed as he was going to leave an egregious slope error in the construction of our 500 SF flagstone patio; 2) Dave White is more concerned about banging out a job than doing a job right; 3) We offered to have Dave White send potential customers to review our flagstone patio - he declined; 4) I would not recommend Dave White and Glacier View landscape to any of my clients. You can read on for more details.

Dave and his crew have demonstrated they lack basic skills, knowledge, craftsmanship and attention to detail…nor do they use “best construction practices”. Above all Dave White lacks integrity and professionalism as a business owner.

We hired Dave White to install a covered, 500 SF flagstone patio off the back of our house, for $12,000. The design was a simple rectangle and was designed to drain (or slope) straight off the back of the patio, away from the house. As the new patio is covered and will have furniture on it, we wanted snow melt and rainwater to drain towards the back of the patio so as not soak the legs of our patio furniture.

Dave White knew my expectations and was even very arrogant about how good a job his crew could do. However, Dave White and his crew failed. He could not implement the simple slope I designed. His crew had to tear out and redo a large portion of faulty work to correct a drainage issue. Above all, his integrity and professionalism was exposed as he was going to leave this egregious mistake had my wife and I not noticed the issue.

Dave was more concerned about staying on schedule, had his crew take shortcuts and did not fully correct the drainage issue. I made the mistake and did not water test the patio. We expected a good faith effort and paid him in full. We trusted that he was a professional and had integrity to complete the project per the plan and our expectations. He will not correct the patio drainage. We are left with snow melt and rain draining across our patio, soaking our patio furniture. Dave told us, “…just get a broom a sweep off the puddles”. We offered to have Dave White send potential clients to our home to review his work. He declined. He has made excuses for his work since we first exposed his lack of integrity.

We decided to not take the issue to court but to warn other homeowners. So please advised to water test your patio for positive drainage, in that water drains away from your house foundation, in the direction YOU want it. More importantly don’t be fooled by the salesmanship of Dave White.

As homeowners, we expect to pay for professional work and craftsmanship. We don’t have the knowledge, skills or time or we would do home improvements ourselves. There will always be contractors like Glacier View, I just can’t believe I fell prey to one when I’m in the same business. Please find another landscape contractor to bid on your project.

After 35 years of high summer water bills trying to battle our dry summer lawn, plus numerous repairs to our aging sprinkling system, we decided the time had come to convert our front lawn to xeriscape. After researching this topic on the Internet we were overwhelmed with the vast array of plant, shrub, bush and tree alternatives, uncertain regarding the best layout for the new landscaping, and unwilling to tackle this major project on a “do it yourself” basis. So we sought recommendations for landscapers and were referred to Dave White of Glacier Landscaping.

When Dave met with us on our property we were impressed with his vast knowledge of alternative plants which would perform best on our property. Equally impressive was his creativity in potential layouts and materials, his ability to help us envision these, and his open and friendly demeanor.

We were also encouraged to learn that Dave and his crew work one project at a time until completed before moving on, thus no time competition with other projects. Also impressive is Dave’s personal experience with every plant, shrub, etc. he proposes, having planted and maintained them on his own property to evaluate their performance.

Following our first meeting with Dave, and after receiving his written bid and proposed contract, we decided to proceed without competitive bids; we had that much confidence in the fairness of the bid, and couldn’t conceive of finding another landscaper with more knowledge, experience, and creativity than Dave.

We are extremely happy with our decision to proceed with Dave and Glacier Landscaping. Dave and his crew were enjoyable to work with, cleaned up the site every day upon completion of work, and finished the project in the estimated time.

And the finished product exceeds our expectations. While we had only envisioned it in terms of summer appearance, it has proven to be beautiful in all four seasons, even in the dead of winter. Not only have we received numerous favorable comments from neighbors, people in passing cars have stopped to look it over, some even taking photos.

But perhaps the best indicator of our satisfaction is that we’ve invited Dave and his crew back twice more, once to xeriscape a side lawn, a second time to redo our back yard landscaping, removing overgrown and aging bushes and replacing them with more suitable and attractive landscaping.

So we can certainly recommend Dave and Glacier Landscaping without reservation, they are great.

TLDR - Dave patiently worked with us from start to finish to build a beautiful landscaped yard. We would absolutely recommend Glacier View Landscape and use them again in the future.

We received bids from 5 landscapers. Dave, the owner of Glacier View Landscape helped us work out what options were best for our back yard. Dave provided us with a free quote. Dave took his time to understand what we wanted and gave us suggestions and guidance about what cost effective options would be. What set him apart from other landscapers was his passion for what he does. Dave's comment was something like I'd love to work on your yard. With some of the other landscapers we talked with it felt like they were doing us a favor to give us a bid.

It took my wife and I about a month to make a final decision on what we wanted the final scope of our project to be. Dave patiently worked with us to make adjustments and provide an accurate bid.

Dave was able to start a few days earlier than originally scheduled and finished a few days quicker than initially estimated.

Dave was onsite every day with his crew. His craftsmanship in the landscaping was truly amazing. He built us two flagstone patios and a dry stack buff sandstone retaining wall along with other landscaping. His rock work is really his specialty. My wife and I are very happy with the quality and look of the final project. Dave hand chisels the flagstone to ensure a tight fit.

I appreciated that Dave was very straight forward an honest about pricing and the scope of work. We were able to make changes while Dave was on site. Dave would provide us with pricing so we could make informed decisions throughout the process. Dave also provided good feedback on things that we thought we wanted to do but weren't a good reason for the long term health or look of the landscape design.

Glacier View's specialty is natural stone work.

Dave and his team were great to work with. He had great insight on a plan for a small space that turned out beautiful. The team was on time, professional and efficient. We would highly recommend Dave and his team.

Dave responded to our request for a bid quickly, was able to offer valuable insight as to the best design and watering system needed for our project, came ahead of schedule and followed up with us afterwards to ensure our plants and lawn were doing well after he completed the install. His staff was courteous and professional, and Dave was there to make sure everything from the stone edging he installed to the timer on our watering system was in good order. I would highly recommend his services if you'd like a well done, long lasting landscape. Thank you Dave!

Fantastic landscape design and installation service. Dave and his crew were very responsive, heard what I wanted (and delivered on it), helped me through the HOA process, and accurately estimated both cost and timing. The quality of work and final appearance is great (neighbors have complimented me already!), and Dave really ran with the project, with very little needed from me. I would definitely recommend.
