In the past few months we've hired Homerun both to handle a minor A/C repair at our rental unit and some more complicated repair and installation work for our remodel. Taggar was consistently on time in person and with providing estimates, gave reasonable quotes, stayed within them, and the finished product looked like it had always been there. I don't know how much more you could ask of a professional. Wish we had found them sooner.

Exceptional service! They were incredibly professional and arrived within an hour of my call when my heat went out. They quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue without taking advantage of the situation. I truly appreciate their honesty and efficiency. Highly recommend this company!

It's only been a day, so I will need to monitor and see if things change. However, the service from Homerun and Shawn (possibly Sean), and an apprentice (apologies for missing the name) was great. They looked through my AC, gave m honest info on what was wrong and what I could expect, and walked me through whether maintenance or a new unit would be best. Shawn didn't try to upsell me or get me to buy more expensive equipment, which I much appreciated. I had just heard from a neighbor how much she paid for a new AC unit in a similarly sized place and I was dreading that. But everything was quick and easy. I had to pay a good deal to add refrigerant, but they didn't add on a bunch of extras and do a whole list of things to account for their time. They were recommended by a friend and so far, would highly recommend them.

Wake up in the middle of the night during below freezing temperatures to find out your heater isn’t working? Panic and worry at the thought of a large bill before the holidays. Homerun was recommended by a trusted source and the experience couldn’t have been better. From professionalism, kindness, sincerity, and a job well done- THANK YOU!

I can fully recommend Home Run Heating and Air! Taggar and Sean especially, but all the techs that worked with me were GREAT. We had a major issue with the air conditioning in a single room that no one was able to figure out until Home Run came to the house to troubleshoot. The issue was figured out and repaired quickly and professionally. I cannot thank them enough to get the issue resolved. I will be using them for all of our future HVAC needs. Thanks a ton!!!!

Homerun is by far one of the best HVAC companies in the state of Colorado. Their team is very knowledgeable and their prices are right on point. I have used 7 or 8 HVAC companies in the past 3 years and I would recommend Homerun over them all. Their service manager Taggar is very knowledgeable and his customer service is top notch. Great company and even better people! 10/10 recommend

As some others have said as well, my dealings with this business were extremely disappointing and somehow they had removed my last review. (Unethical at best)

My summary: new a/c system and it failed 5 years later. I called Harvey for a repair and he had a person come who offered to put in more coolant but said it may or may not fix it. Ironically this employee quit the company that day so the conversation continued with Harvey’s admin.. Harvey said the coolant fill should fix the problem and charged me $~1500.

The above repair did not work so I called back and asked the admin if we could come up with a game plan, including a quote for a new system. The admin (maybe his wife or daughter?) was extremely unprofessional and said “no, Harvey won’t call you. He’ll only come for a service visit again.” I stated that I was being reasonable, having bought the system from them 5 years ago and having already paid for an unsuccessful repair. I just wanted to figure out what we’d do next before I paid for another service visit. The admin called back and said Harvey “wasn’t interested in my business,” which was quite rich considering that Harvey was the one who didn’t stand behind his work—while also seeming quite inept with fixing air conditioning systems. I would not recommend wasting time or money with this company: sleazy and unethical

I am so thankful I have Tri County Heating and Air! They are they nicest, honest, accommodating, and reasonably priced local mom and pop company that goes above and beyond for me! Barb and Harvey Mathewes are just so amazing and have gotten me taken care of on the same day so many times! Harvey even came out on Christmas one year when it was freezing and my furnace broke and did not charge me anything extra for a holiday! Anyone looking for HVAC needs, they’re fantastic and local! Tri County Heating and Air coming through in a clutch! 🖤This is exactly how businesses should be run, tough to find in 2022! Can’t beat this company! Have used them for years and won’t go anywhere else! A business actually making a single moms life less chaotic in 2022, unheard of these days.

I recently has a new furnace installed and was looking around for a good, reliable contractor to perform the install. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased at the prompt, courteous, and friendly service that the entire Tri-City team provided. All the way from the initial contact to the final installation! They followed up, answered all of my questions (and I had a few), and, the team even cleaned up after the installation work was completed! Great job! Thank you!

Hard working, honest, family owned business. They worked me into the schedule and helped me replace my thermostat. The temps were high so I very much appreciated it. Harvey is a very knowledgeable technician and took the time to help me understand how to operate and make the most of my new thermostat. I highly recommend using them for your HVAC needs!

This one star review could have easily been prevented had good customer service skills been employed by both mother and daughter whom we spoke with over the phone. Trying to talk over and interrupt customers who are sharing their concerns is not a way to resolve customer complaints or retain customers.

Tri County Heating & Cooling is THE BEST HVAC service you can get! They are knowledgeable, professional, personable, quick response, quality work and fair pricing. I will always entrust my HVAC system to Harvey!

I cannot express enough how great Harvey and Stephanie are! With the temperature hitting triple digits today Harvey was booked solid and unable to get to me, but he and Stephanie took time to help me trouble shoot why my AC wasn’t working. Walked me through several things that could be the issue and what to do. I was able to get it up and running thanks to their help. Thank you!

Talk about customer service, well Tri-County H&C is the perfect example of it. from the moment you call for an appointment until the time Harvey comes out to service your equipment. You are treated like a person not a number on an invoice. They are very professional yet friendly, and will answer any questions you may have. They are also very fair with their pricing. I’ve already have plans for them to return in spring for my air conditioner, maintenance, and again in fall for my furnace maintenance. I would highly recommend them!

Extremely Disappointed – Poor Communication and Lack of Accountability

I had a very frustrating experience with Tri County AC that I feel compelled to share. During the process of purchasing my home, the home inspector noted that the upstairs AC unit wasn't cooling properly. Since Harvey had been servicing the system, he was brought in to evaluate the issue. He assured us that the unit was in good shape, which influenced our decision not to request any repairs or replacement from the sellers.

Unfortunately, shortly after moving in, it became obvious that the upstairs unit was not functioning properly—it simply couldn’t cool the space. I contacted Tri County and specifically asked for Harvey to return and assess the unit, explaining that I did not believe a trip charge would be appropriate given the circumstances.

Instead of listening and working toward a resolution, I was met with surprising resistance. When I pleaded my case, I was repeatedly interrupted and then shockingly hung up on by Harvey’s wife. This kind of treatment is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

What could have been an opportunity for the company to stand behind their past work and offer some level of customer service turned into a deeply disappointing interaction. I cannot in good conscience recommend Tri County AC to anyone looking for honest communication, reliable assessments, or basic respect.

Mark was a lifesaver when our furnace had a rattling noise coming from it. He came over accessed the problem right away and got it fixed as soon as he was able too. Thank you Groulx Mechanical!

Groulx Mechanical is the absolute best, hands down. Mark quoted me on a new AC install for my townhome in Longmont, CO and not only came in with the best price, but with excellent equipment as well.
