The entire Groulx team was fantastic to work with. They replaced our standard furnace and A/C system with a new energy efficient heat pump system. They processed our XCEL rebate information for us which was extremely helpful. On the front end, Mark was straight forward and we went through all the available options for a new system, including available rebates and credits. Loving the new system. Thanks to Mark, Brian, and Ana for your professionalism, excellent communication, and follow through. Highly recommend!

Carroll Mechanical was awesome at helping us when our A/C unit went out in the middle of summer. Very fast, great rate, honest.

They did a great job doing a temporary repair on my old furnace and then gave me great quotes on new equipment. I will be having them install the new furnace soon

If you have an emergency, you should probably call someone else first. We had a furnace go out on a Friday night when the overnight temperatures were -5 or worse for 6 days straight. Called CMS first thing Saturday morning for emergency service. We never heard back. Tried calling again first thing Monday morning during business hours but no one picked up. Needless to say, we were very disappointed - and cold.

I liked doing new business with this company. I found all the employees to be very conscientious and customer-friendly. They listened to me and followed through with a really good product, great installation and easy financing.

One of the finest companies I've dealt with as a home owner. Ethical, competent, caring, and excellent service from the fabulous office staff, owner, to the workers on site. Quick follow up and excellent communicators.

These guys are awesome. Called at least 5 HVAC companies all over Boulder/Denver area and CMC was the only group who gave a fair bid and didn’t try to sell me on things I didn’t need. They did the first job for us flawlessly - won’t use anyone else for our HVAC needs

We called CMS for our furnace, and they had a technician at our house the same day. The work was done well and we had our heat back right away, but unfortunately an issue crept up during the fix. CMS was quick to address it, and sent technicians out in the late evening to get us up and running, and then again on a holiday to make the fix permanent.

In my mind, there are hundreds of companies who can fix furnaces. However, it's how a company reacts when something doesn't go according to plan that separates the good from the great. This was the first time we needed furnace service, and I will not be shopping around the next time we need it. CMS has our business!

I just tried Carroll Mechanical for the 1st time and had a great experience. I am a property manager and have recently seen some HVAC companies being misleading and trying to rip people off. It was a very refreshing change of pace to work with Carroll mechanical.

I was lucky to find CMS. Thanks to all the reviewers that alerted me to them. I have a high tech boiler that other outfits would not work on without the caveat that the money I would spend would be good after bad. They usually wanted to sell me a new one for $$$$$. Andy Mount arrived to save the day. After a brief diagnosis he set about testing the many internal and external components with the confidence only someone with 35+ years of varied experience could. After an instructive and entertaining hour or so the boiler was purring and roaring and the DHW and heating systems were up and running. Since it was summer, I inquired about some AC tips and in a matter of minutes had multiple tips to follow up on that has allowed sleeping upstairs for the first time since we moved in 5 or so years ago. The tech called before he came out, he said he was going to measure the pad and get the model off the swamp cooler. I said I could provide him with that but he insisted on coming out. He measured said they didn't have the pad in stock and they would order it and call me back later that day. I never received a call so I called back 5 days later. They said it would be there the next day. They came out to install it but found out it was the wrong size. They called around and "thought" they had found the right one down in Denver. I wasn't going to take a chance with that. I went on Amazon and found the proper pad in 10 minutes for $110 less than they quoted. They wanted $180 for the pad and $100 for the service call. I asked the tech if he could fix the leak on the northwest corner of the cooler, he said there was no leak. I went up today and it is still dripping exactly where I showed him, not out of the drain where it should be. They also didn't screw the side panels back on properly and a few days later they came flying off in the wind. I was not happy about a 3'x3' piece of sheet metal flying off my roof, thankfully none of us were outside at the time. Worst experience I've had with an HVAC company. I can't speak to Furnaces or Air conditioners but they have no clue about swamp coolers.

I wish There were 6 Stars to give. Brien at Carroll Mechanical Services did a complete HVAC installation in a rental property destroyed by Meth Contamination. They completed the extensive job quickly, when promised, and with high Quality. Obvious deep experience and talent here. Probably the singularly best contractor experience I have ever had, start to finish.

Our heater went out today and the cold was coming tonight. Chris came out in 2 hours from my call and found out we needed a part. Nikki then called and said the owner Ben could go get the part in Denver and have it put in by 5:00pm. Then Fred came and put the part in and even cleaned out the water line. They all cared about us and having heat tonight. They went the extra mile for us. Thanks everyone at CMS.

Carroll Mechanical Services installed central air conditioning in our Boulder townhouse. Of the 4 contractors we received bids from, the CMS bid was the second lowest. Brien Carroll spent the most time of the 4 planning the job, which probably helped it go so smoothly. The time he spent up front, and the fact that he offered Carrier products, won him the job. His crews were timely and efficient, working steadily in our low crawl space to install the cooling coils. The Carrier compressor unit they installed outside is even smaller than expected and as quiet as we had hoped for. All in all, we are very glad we picked CMS for this job. We will rely on them for the annual "tune-ups" and all our other heating and A/C needs.

Our 2 story house has had issues with HVAC since we bought it 28 years ago. I’ve had several companies look at it and spent money on it and nothing changed.
