Ted Bertrand was our project manager for roof and gutter replacement due to a hail storm in May 2024. Ted was professional, polite and informative, he clearly explained things and answered questions. Ted worked tirelessly with our insurance company to get the best possible outcome. We highly commend and recommend him.

We had Lion Roofing out to our new home. Our inspector, Justin Regner, did an amazing inspection. He was crystal clear on the areas that were ok and the areas he recommended for improvement. All of this was backed up with pictures and explanations of why the issues were occurring. Would recommend contacting Lion for your Colorado roofing needs.

We used Lion Roofing to replace our roof after our area got hit with many hail storms in spring 2023. Our neighbor had recommended Lion several times for various projects and was happy. Lion did a good job on the roof, but we ended up with a leaky gutter. We believe they had to hire additional contractors during that time and the team that did our gutters was not top notch. The end of the gutter is just over our where our trash cans sit and it still leaks to this day. It was hard to identify since Denver area does not get a lot of rain. We noticed it most after snow and ice in the gutter melts.

The Lion Roofing representatives were very professional and prompt. They made a small repair to my roof without any problem. I would not hesitate to use them again.

We recently had our roof and gutters replaced with Lion Roofing and Gutters. Marcus talked us through the whole process and offered great comparable selections when our shingle choice was out of stock. They were easy and transparent to work with and their company took care of almost everything insurance related. We were scheduled quickly, once materials arrived, and the whole project was done in a single day! I would definitely recommend them.

We hired Lion Roofing to repair our gutters and install gutter guards on the back, high side of our house. Justin came out quickly to give us a quote and 3 days later the job is done! The price was fair and the work was excellent. Very happy.

Honest review with the good and the bad.

A couple of years ago I had Lion Roofing come out to replace the underlayment on my tile roof. I was gone during the installation on a business trip. When I arrived home the roof was partially covered with snow so I couldn't tell if everything was alright, but I assumed it was. After the snow melted I got up on the roof and discovered that although it was structurally sound, the roofers were sloppy. Very sloppy. Vents that were not aligned when screwed back in, using mismatched color tiles on the back of the roof where you could not see it from the front, poor quality (i.e. thin) tiles in spots, and paper was hanging out from various locations around the house. It looked like an amateur repaired the roof. Suffice it to say I was not happy.

I called Lion Roofing back and shared my displeasure. Kudos to them for coming out and spending an entire day making it right for me. Because they made it right, and now understood my expectations as a customer, I decided to use them again. The second time around they replaced the remaining underlayment that was not done the first time. They did an excellent job and made sure things were cleaned up at the end.

Here I am about 6 months later and one of the tiles on my roof cracked after it was hit by a golf ball. I asked them to come out to see how much it would be to replace. I was told they can no longer do any jobs that are under $600 as it's not profitable for the company. From a business perspective, I kind of understand this. From a customer perspective, I was disappointed.

Conclusion? First, I believe Lion Roofing would do a good job on your roof but they need to be monitored throughout the job. Second, I'm left with the impression after they have their money they won't be coming out again for minor patches should you need one. I'm now in the process of trying to find a roofing company that is willing to come out for a small job; replacing a tile or two.

I was extremely happy with the customer service and repair work done to my gutters. Justin was extremely fair, punctual, and proactive regarding my repair. Ryan was the technician and did an excellent job. I would gladly recommend Lion roofing and gutters to anyone that wants quality work done at a fair price.

Justin came to our house today to inspect a leak on my roof and gave excellent advice on repairing the leaks and roof caulking. We will definitely use him in the future for our roofing needs!

When the work was completed it ended up satisfactory; Not perfect, but it’s functional. We were told the metal roof would take a week to install - it took almost 5 months. Multiple managers left Lion on our project and we would be in a communication void for weeks. Then, a crew would just show up for a day or two and leave with no communication.

* Tools and scrap metal were left on the roof and property for the entirety of the project. Multiple items were blown off the roof causing a safety concern for our family.
* A crew member removed a vent cap and stuck a rag down the b-vent for weeks. This ruined our hvac system which Lion had to replace.
* the project was supposed to be done prior to winter, but with the long project duration the decking and underlayment were exposed to the winter. Multiple times I had to tarp my own roof for the big storms.

It became clear that Lion went too aggressive in their bid and our home became the project that no one wanted to finish. We didn’t go through insurance so paying for a whole roof out of pocket only to watch a company not care enough to follow their word was the hardest part. I’m glad it’s done but, due to the absolute nightmare this project was, I won’t be using any Lion services again.

Ted has seen us thru multiple gutter issues. Our existing gutters were overflowing and clogged. He suggested a partial cleaning and gutter guard installation. Problem solved! Our pre-existing gutter guards seemed to be working fine… until they weren’t. Ted to the rescue again. Simple fix, most likely requiring a more permanent solution down the road. Thank you Ted, and company, for being such pro’s at what you do. It is employees like you that keep us coming back to Lion Roofing and Gutters!

I recently met with Justin to install new gutter extensions on 6 of my downspouts. The communication and service were excellent. He had creative solutions to our downspouts that were not in ideal locations. I thought I’d have to paint them after but they offer many color choices and sure enough, one matched the color I needed. All done within a week at a reasonable price. I plan to meet with him to rework the gutters at our rental property as well!

I wholeheartedly recommend Lion Roofing & Gutters as they did a phenomenal job installing new gutters on our mountain property. The installation was done in April when there still plenty of snow on the ground, which was impressive by itself, and the job was done very quickly and professionally and they even matched our paint color. Kudos on a job very well done.
