Nick laid the complete rear landscaping for our new build home this past summer/fall... saying it was a challenging design is an understatement, with oddly shaped retaining walls/planter beds, and paver stone walking paths, but my wife and I were intent on achieving the design we had in place.
Nick worked with us every step of the way, helping to modify a few things which were better done another way, breaking up the work to be completed in the most logical steps, (and with appropriate other sub contractors when it made sense), and kept me informed of impact to price always on the same day as we ever made any changes.
He’s so motivated and organized... he was the only landscaper we talked to that, after seeing the plan we had, got back to us that same day with strong email communications and a bid and starting date all ready to go.

Our experience building a paver patio and path with Grounded Lawn was 5 Star. From the initial estimate consult to the very end, we felt that Nick and his team provided clear communication, exceptional quality work, and a beautiful end product. During the consultation I did not feel pressured, or pushed into making a decision and Nick gave me ideas, instead of just asking what did we want and not talking it out to make sure we were all on the same page. He also came out a second time after we decided to make the patio larger. The team worked so hard to give us a beautiful outdoor space and we couldn’t be happier!

Nick and his team were fantastic to work with! Our project was an 800 square foot paver patio with a walkway and we could not be more happy with the results. We were unsure on exactly what we wanted and he was able to take the small vision that we gave him and turn it into something beautiful while keeping it within our desired budget. It's a pleasure working with Matthew and his crew. They are dependable and do a good job on our lawns.
I was also pleased with the winter service to clear the snow within 24 hours.
They do maintenance for the fall by trimming the shrubbery, clean up the leaves, and shut down the sprinkler system for winter.
And of course, they are ready after the winter to check the sprinklers, aerate and fertilize for a new year.

Nick and Grounded Lawn Landscaping are truly a blessing to work with. We purchased our new build without realizing the effort it would take to finish our backyard. Nick helped build our retaining wall, and he converted our 10% graded backyard into a 2% grade. He also helped us with sprinkler blowouts, supported my backyard irrigation installation and other landscaping needs. Thanks again Grounded Lawn!

Nick and Grounded Lawn built our fence last fall and had already landscaped several yards in our new neighborhood when we hired them to landscape our new-build backyard. They recently finished and it turned out great. He helped us a ton with good ideas, navigated the permit process for gas lines and a built in fire pit, tree/shrub suggestions, etc. — the end result is awesome. He nailed the timeline estimates he gave in advance (for both project start and end), kept us up to date throughout the work, and every person on the crew that worked on the yard was thoughtful and detail-oriented. We'll definitely use Grounded Lawn again for future projects.

From our first interaction, Nick was honest, friendly and knowledgeable. He was very confident and understood our vision for a new backyard design perfectly. His team was efficient and got our yard done in a very timely manner. He installed sod, rock, a paver patio, and a pathway. We even requested horseshoe pits! He really knows what he is doing, what works and looks good. We completely trusted him and we are extremely happy with our landscaping!

Just hit our 2 year anniversary as a customer and we've been extremely happy and satisfied with Grounded Lawn as our landscape maintenance company and snow removal. Matthew is extremely responsive and excellent with communication. Payments are easily made online with invoices received via email/text. The team takes care of mowing, trimming, aerating, winterization, sprinkler startup, and fall/spring cleanup. Any concerns or issues are promptly addressed and resolved with confirmation to ensure we are satisfied. Highly recommend!
