When there were heavy rains, we would have leaks. They came out and diagnosed the problem and stopped the leak. Looks great!

Got a chimney inspection from them, not realizing that they did installs as well. Got an estimate after the inspection for a gas insert and decided to go for it. We ran into some challenges with the chimney size (old house), but they were able to come up with an acceptable side-vent solution that I initially had some concern about, but it turned out great and I'm very happy with the fireplace look and function. Mark and Jon were very professional, punctual, and took care of any issues that came up along the way dealing with an old house.

I purchased a new wood insert to replace an old fireplace. Chimney Sweeps of America was great to work with. They were very responsive, friendly and professional. I highly recommend them.

Our experience with this company was exactly what you would want. They delivered what was agreed, at the agreed upon place and time and for the agreed upon price. The crew were both pleasant and professional not to mention efficient. The removal of old unit and demo as well as the install of the new unit we're excellent. The one thing I wish they offered were finishing services for tile and paint so the entire project would be done under them, but we found a great crew for that as well so no harm.

I've lived in my home for more than three years and the fireplace has never worked. I've meant to look at it, but it hadn't made it to the priority list. Them, while I had an electrician out for another issue, I asked if they had any recommendations. They took a look, said it likely needed replacing. That led me to the good ol' Google hunt for a reputable repair company.

Enter Chimney Sweeps of America. I called, and they told me they'd do a through cleaning and inspection of the fireplace for a surprisingly reasonable cost. On the day of, I got a phone call from Mark when he was just over an hour out, and he arrived near the start of the time window I'd been given.

Mark was friendly and professional, and dug in. After a through cleaning, he discovered the wall switch that was the culprit, and had the fireplace roaring. He walked me through everything on the fireplace, showed me what he'd used to bring the glass back to sparkling clarity, and made are I was comfortable with using and adjusting it. After the wrapped up, he encouraged me to call if I ran into any issues or had questions.

All in all, a phenomenal experience. If you have any need for their various services, put this place first on your list. You'll be glad you did.

I called one of the licensed dealers for the gas fireplace in the house I had just bought. (The pilot light wouldn't relight and I didn't feel like blowing myself up trying to fix it.) That dealer referred me to Chimney Sweeps of America. I had to make an appointment a couple months out, but, when Mark got here, it was worth it. Turns out a moth had gotten into the gas tube feeding the pilot light and died there, blocking the gas. Since the fireplace is as old as the house, I went ahead and opted for a cleaning as well. Mark fixed everything, cleaned everything, and explained everything. He protected our carpet by putting down a moving blanket in his work space. He wore his face mask correctly the entire time. The fireplace looks brand new. Mark checked for gas leaks. I have useful maintenance information going forward. I am already planning on using Chimney Sweeps of America to do the recommended yearly fireplace inspection for years to come! I highly recommend this service!

Wow!! Chimney Sweeps of America is awesome. We'll never use another fireplace company. We got quotes from a couple others in the area, and they were all instantly turned off when we tried to aim for a cheaper option. One literally ghosted us. Enter, Chimney Sweeps of America! They were super responsive and never pressured; just gave the quotes we needed and time to decide. They did a wood stove removal for us, and then we splurged for the gorgeous gas fireplace insert (so, joke's on those other companies!). Throughout, they kept great communication, checked deadlines, and ensured subcontractors made it to the property on time. Our new gas fireplace is STUNNING. What an upgrade!! They also fixed our chimney, which was crumbling after six decades. It's lovely to have heat and peace of mind. HUGE thanks, guys! We'll be back for any other fireplace needs!

Very prompt and professional service from start to finish! We primarily worked with Jon to come out and do an inspection of our chimney to see what kind of gas log set we could install in our 1930s Tudor style home. Jon was very transparent and informative throughout the whole process and unfortunately informed us that the size of our chimney compared to our fireplace opening was off. This meant that in order to safely install a gas log set, we would have had to significantly decrease the size of our fireplace opening to fit a log set that was up to code. Jon told us immediately that it could look weird to decrease the size of our fireplace and did not push us to go through with accepting his proposal to do so. We still used their services to clean and refinish our fireplace hearth, but I was very pleased that Jon did not push us to do something we didn't want to do and the work they did do was still solid.

Chimney Sweeps were amazing! I hired them initially just to fix my chimney after receive a very high quote from a different chimney company. Chimney Sweeps’ quote came in lower and didn’t involve a complete rebuild, rather, they were able to repair it which is what I’d hoped. In addition, they mentioned that they could also equip the empty fireplace with a gas insert and showed me one that I fell in love with. They rushed the job so that I could get it before the holidays and I am beyond thrilled. I highly recommend them and am telling all my friends about them.

We hired Chimneysweeps of America to clean and inspect our fireplace. (We've used them in past years and they've always done a great job.) They found some items that would now need expensive repair if we decided to keep burning wood in the fireplace, and they mentioned that a gas insert might be more cost-effective. We worked with their design team to come up with an insert that honors the spirit of our huge, impressive fireplace while providing an efficient, easy-to-use gas insert. The new fireplace looks great, and the insert is wonderful: it has so many super features that we use a lot. Throughout the whole process, Chimneysweeps of America was low-pressure, clear, timely, polite and extremely professional. Their representative, Mark Roberts, was outstanding. We might have been able to save some money by parceling out tasks ourselves, but the peace of mind of having one, extremely reliable contractor responsible for the entire project is well worth it. Call in wait times are horrible. Be prepared to always be on hold every single time. Every time I’ve had to call in, I’m always on hold 10+ minutes. They should hire more customer service reps for more efficient service. They tried to change our appointment time, but because of always the long hold times, I didn’t even bother to call them back. The new appointment time would have worked but I didn’t want to deal with the hold. Just waited 18 minutes and now just speaking to someone.

Chimney Sweeps Of America converted our coal fire place to gas unit and capped our chimney a year ago.

Everything looks great, works great, and has the proper permits.

They were able to fit the unit into the pre-existing mantle (top, sides, and front), and it looks like it was all built together. I was concerned we’d need to hire a carpenter to make everything look good and that was not the case.

The installation was quick (I believe it only took one day), and they were very responsive/ easy to coordinate with.

They’re fairly priced given their reputation. The cheaper options we found when doing our research were unlicensed individuals or very new companies with no track record. With a significant project, we wanted confidence that it would be done correctly, and we were very pleased with Chimney Sweeps.

Also, they put us on their recurring schedule for periodic cleanings and inspections, which are priced fairly, and now we don’t need to worry about remembering/ finding somebody to complete that service.

I would recommend Chimney Sweeps without hesitation.
