We hired Chimney Sweeps of America to remove our gas stove and install a wood-burning stove. They came out and installed it very quickly and professionally. Our contractor requested they come back and clean up part of the installation, which they promptly did with no complaints and did a fantastic job. We love the stove and highly recommend them!

These guys were responsive right away and showed up on time. Mark was awesome and very informative and friendly! Very professional and even had to work fast to beat a rainstorm because we had an issue with our outdoor fireplace! I’d refer Chimney Sweeps of America out to everybody!

We are still working on the finishing touches so the outside is still in the works but the fireplace itself, the install, and just working with chimney sweeps of America in general, amazing! They were awesome, fair pricing and excellent work. We are looking to use them for our other other fireplace replacement as well :)

Chimney Sweeps of America came out and did a routine chimney cleaning and inspection. If that was all that was done, I would have given them 5 stars as their scheduling team was awesome and they came out as scheduled with no problems whatsoever.

However, at the time of inspection I was told I would need to parge my chimney and install a new damper to bring my fireplace up to code. I scheduled this and had the work done. What I was NOT told was that this new damper would be an entirely different type of damper and they would need to "demo" my chimney to "create room." I have attached pictures and you will see what is left is a large, unfinished, unprofessional looking hole where my old damper used to be, as well as additional space where a row of bricks was cut out haphazardly. This is not the end product I was expecting for $1600.

When I contacted them, the owner apologized and offered to come out and paint everything black to try and make it look better.

I am writing this review to forewarn anyone else who may be thinking of hiring this company for this service.

We had a complete chimney restoration and wood burning insert installed by Chimney Sweeps of America. This was the most expensive home projects we've ever done so I had lots of questions and concerns and the entire team at CSofA was amazing. They came out multiple times before our install to discuss all our options and make sure the unit we were buying would meet our expectations.

On install day they were on time and were very courteous, professional and did great work.

Also - they are CSIA certified and follow NFPA standards. (not all chimney sweeps in town are, do your research!!!)

We had a gas fireplace installed through Chimney Sweeps, and the process was very smooth. They were very helpful when working with us to find the fireplace that best fit our space, and when it came to installation, Pat was awesome. He is very thorough and precise, building out the frame to the exact dimensions I provided based on our design. One of the logs arrived broken from shipping, but Kevin came out the next week and quickly replaced it for us.
They also coordinated the gas line extension as well as the electrician to run power to, and above, the fireplace, making the process much easier on our end.
I finished the design with brick vaneers, but they will also recommend finishers if needed.

These guys are awesome. Very professional, timely, and friendly. I reached out to about 5 other chimney services in town and they were by FAR the best. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Thanks guys!

I’ve used Chimney Sweeps of America every other year since 2017 to clean and maintain my wood-burning stove. After a 2023 inspection revealed internal cracks and a potential fire hazard, they recommended a replacement.

Jon, the owner, came out personally, explained my options, and followed up with clear recommendations and an estimate.

The whole team is professional, communicative, and on time. The installers made sure I knew how to safely use the new stove.

Did a great job on our chimney. They had to remove an old cast iron furnace from our fireplace which probably weighed half a ton. They put a cloth padded mat down to protect our wood floors and were quick and neat. They also did a great job fixing the crown top of the chimney by pouring new cement.

Highly recommend. They came out to clean my chimney a few weeks ago and the nice gentleman was quick and efficient. He did find a crack on my panel. This morning they came out to fix it. Very nice guy. He also informed me of what could cause a crack so I know how to avoid it from happening again. Again, highly recommend this company!!!

Chimney Sweeps of America was one of three companies to assess our chimney problem and provide an estimate. We were impressed with the speed an accuracy of the inspection. The inspector provided a clear explanation of the problem and the repair, accompanied by photographs of the chimney interior. The price of the estimate was competitive, but what really won the day was the level of experience and depth of knowledge that we experienced with the staff. The work crew sent out for the repairs exceeded our expectations. The two gentlemen were smart, polite, and competent. They really poured themselves into the task and had the job finished much faster than we anticipated. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. There is no substitute for knowledge, experience, technical competence, and a quality mindset. There literally wasn't a bad moment in the entire process. Also a shout out for Kristen Madden, the office manager. She coordinated all of the details and kept the communications up-to-date. Highly recommended.

The guys who came to our house were thorough and efficient, they were able to explain everything to my husband in an understand way, and that he felt comfortable calling me to update me. They work hard, are trustworthy, and kind!

Chimney Sweeps of America was fantastic. Everything from the initial contact to scheduling to completion was on time and well done. The job needed to be changed based on he condition of my chimney and the crew had no problem figuring out what needed to be done and getting it completed on time and in good shape. So great job CSA! Highly recommended.

This group worked hard to get this done for us. From the estimate to the purchase, to the install. We feel this was great service and appreciate it very much.
We are already enjoying the benefits of our purchase for the upstairs and insert relocation to our downstairs chimney.
Now we just need to paint.

I added the updated fireplace with our new insert. Looks great. The new fire place really compliments the spot now

Did a install for Mike and he didn't pay me. He's a scam and doesn't know what he's doing

I called for an appointment and no one showed up. No call or text. Avoid wasting time with them.

Worst experience ever!!! Booked through my home warranty. Set a 4 hour time block, didn't call didn't text, just didn't show up!!! I tried to call, then they refused to answer the phone! DO NOT do business with these idiots
