¡Barcelona es increíble! Their work was impeccable and done with great detail and care. My driveway was repulsive and long overdue for removal. Matias gave a detailed quote quickly and was willing to work within our budget. We re-did our driveway, apron and curb and all 3 turned out fantastic! The final product, as seen below, was impeccable and resplendent. I would definitely recommend working with Barcelona Corp and Matias for any concrete and masonry work. They know what they are doing and it is always ideal to work with someone who specializes in concrete work...for concrete work!

Juan and his team worked on a residential basement project that required excavating for inches of head room. I couldn't be more happy with how helpful he was and how it looks now. He excavated several inches of concrete , backfilled, and poured a new slab quicker than we expected. Additionally, he was very thorough with all paperwork detail and communicating with our contractor along the way. I strongly recommend his work and plan on using him again for any future concrete projects.

They were amazing. Very hard working, skilled and efficient. They did the work quickly and despite the weather. The end result is beautiful. They cleaned up really well and left nothing behind. They even came back to sand an area that one of our residents felt was uneven. We highly recommend them.

Dealt with J Montoya personally on the phone today... Worst experience in the world. He's not a business man and more of someone who doesn't care about anyone else but himself. I emailed and have tried contacting them about one of their trucks not being properly strapped on top, which resulted in rocks flying out. I had a rock hit my BRAND NEW vehicle and put a nasty crack in my windshield. I have pictures of the truck and any other pictures I would properly need for the state police and a lawyer if actually needed. Needless to say, he told me "Go find yourself a lawyer, take me to court and sue me. If you contact me again, my lawyer will sue you". He wasn't competent enough to say it properly but that is what I got out of him.

Now again, I'd have to say that anyone who talks like that, doesn't deserve business because HE DOESN'T CARE. There are many other construction companies who actually care about issues like this and the results they produce.

Basic Review... Don't deal with J Montoya.

J Montoya Construction has done numerous projects for us in our properties. Very professional and explains everything in detail. Will definitely keep working with them in the upcoming future. Very negotiable price, these guys are the best. 5 Stars.

J Montoya rebuilt the failing foundations of a rear home addition originally added in the 1930s. Recent rains and vibrations from a nearby construction project finally caused severe cracking of the foundation causing sagging and separation of the addition from the main house. Montoya’s crew was professional, worked quickly excavating, pouring reinforced concrete to create new foundation walls floors, a new slab and adding steel supports. Excellent work and attention to detail followed by thorough clean up. Mr. Montoya provided excellent prompt service and explained every step of their process as well as taking photos to document the work. Would highly recommend this firm.

I just used J. Montoya to redo my driveway, fix the walkway to our front door and added concrete to the side of my garage. They were always on time, worked super fast and the everything was perfect. They offer a nice California finish at the end too for a very small fee. My family is very happy we choose J. Montoya and I recommend them to anyone!!

J Montoya removed deteriorating outdoor basement stairs and wall, replacing all, maintaining integrity of outdoor drain. This was work that needed to be done for many years, but for a variety of reasons never got done. From my first communication to set up the estimate through completion, Juan was prompt, professional and on target. Communication throughout was perfect. Juan’s team were efficient and tidy. All my fears that kept this project from getting done sooner were put to rest. I am no longer fearful to use my back steps to my basement. Next project- replacing my driveway!
