Came out and didn't act like he really could understand structural concrete. Finally gave a price 4k higher than original. Then tried to have me change design to less than code for same money. DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY IF YOU ARE A CONTRACTOR. Maybe he can fix your sidewalk before t that's about it.

I had the misfortune of having a sewer line collapse under the concrete front steps of my home, making it necessary to demolish them for repair. The plumbing contractor would fill in the excavation, but I needed to find a concrete contractor on short notice. I called Montoya construction and explained my situation. Mr. Montoya was very responsive, examining the site and giving me a proposal. Despite a few unanticipated problems, work was completed quickly and with care. The workmen were professional, skilled and careful of my property. I am completely satisfied and would not hesitate to recommend Montoya Construction to anyone requiring a concrete contractor.

Juan Montoya and his crew did a beautiful job replacing our concrete driveway, sidewalks, stairwells, steps, and patio. If you want the highest value for your money, this is the company to hire! The prices are very fair, and better than anyone else I got estimated from. Juan is amazing. His customer service is the best I have ever experienced. He guided us through every step of the process and informed us of all our options. His crew stayed on schedule, and he went above and beyond to meet our wishes. And the result is fantastic. Juan Montoya is very experienced as a company owner and as a concrete expert. He evaluates the work to be done, comes up with a well thought out solution, oversees the work to be sure it’s done right, does some of the work along with his crew if needed, and delivers on his promises. He’s also a good communicator so I felt confident that we were in agreement regarding the scope of the walkway work and price.
I chose to leave a portion of the existing walkway as is, but we both agreed it would be better to complete it once the work was finished. He is going to try to fit it in when he has a nearby project and I have no doubt he will do that.

The crew was professional, worked hard to make our driveway look beautiful (it was hard to park our car on the driveway!), and the crew kept the work area clean. I had extensive work done on my home, and J. Montoya handled all of it with great professionalism. They started by renovating the basement, installing a sump pump and French drain and added a water proof membrane, they also replace all the old wood columns with new steel post making the space bigger. They resurfacing the entire basement floor, and sealing exterior cracks that were allowing water in. They also replaced the garage concrete, poured a new patio in the backyard, redid the sidewalk, added a new front step, and even rerouted the gutter downspout.

LC Concrete answered phone, set up estimate that afternoon, then sent written estimate next morning (email), I accepted contract. Work was set for following Monday, Luis and crew were on time started my new porch. First day removal and set up forms for next day concrete pour! Second day early and waiting for concrete. Concrete on time stairs poured and finished. Site cleaned up! Very HAPPY with work done by LC Concrete! Nice crew, you will not be disappointed!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Luis and his team. From the very beginning, they were responsive, eager to work, quick to provide a quote and get started almost immediately—which is rare and so appreciated.

They completed a patio and multiple new pathways for us, including one long, winding path that two other contractors had no idea how to approach. Luis came in with total confidence, and watching him work, it was clear why. He is a true perfectionist. Every detail mattered to him, and he took the time to accommodate all of my requests while also explaining the process so I felt informed and comfortable the entire time.

What really stood out to me, beyond the incredible craftsmanship, was how kind and patient they were with my toddler-aged kids. My children were playing nearby and constantly watching (at times even yelling out the window!), and Luis & his guys were so sweet and respectful toward them the whole time. That level of kindness says a lot about who someone is.

The entire project was completed in about three full days, which was impressive given the size and detail of the work. They even came back the following day to do a very thorough cleanup, carefully placing the sod back piece by piece along the new paths so everything looked seamless.

This wasn’t just someone pouring concrete—this was truly like watching an artist at work. Luis takes pride in what he does, and it shows in every inch of the finished product.
