Concrete Contractor reviews across the US

Great team. We had our front steps, driveway, and rear patio torn out and re-poured. They took the extra time to communicate during the project to ensure everything went smoothly and really took my initial ideas to an even higher level. Highly recommend to anyone.

Company poured a large driveway on my property and had to remove sprinkler system. They failed to cap the water line left under the slab and when called they had behind that this step although, common sense, was technically on the work order therefore they wouldn't have any responsibility in the overlooking of what could damage the work they were just paid to complete. Disappointing.

I picked & highly recommend K&K construction. They're honest & reasonable.
Victor & his crew the best. He made sure everything was done as what was ask. Dena helped me stay in our budget that allowed us to extend the concrete. We'll use them for more project we have. Thank you K&K -
Definitely recommend Kris and his crew. Very happy with the work done, great customer service, Dena was awesome in communicating status of our project and what we could expect. Overall great experience! Thank you K& K!!

Beware they don't care!!!
While replacing the concrete on the driveway and walkway, they caused severe damage to 4 zones on my sprinkler system. I brought it their attention , and K&K construction took no accountability.
The repairs will cost me over 1,000 dollars!! -
The driveway they poured slopes towards house, creating exactly the same drainage issue I was trying to resolve. Sent them a certified letter and multiple emails about the issue, but never heard back.
Update:
They "rectified" the drainage issue by cutting another small slit in the concrete. It does very little. In fact when it's cold the puddle freezes, and is a hazard. -
Chris and his crew replaced and repaired several concrete driveways in our townhome subdivision. Just want to share what an awesome job they did and how helpful and friendly they were! I would recommend to everyone!

Being homeowners for 16 years I’ve never written a negative review until now. After 3 months after having had our driveway done and our front porch extended, we had a crack in the driveway, cracks in the control lines and the front porch settled which loosened both posts. The warranty for this company is extremely limited on what they do after the work is done. What they did afterwards regarding the warranty was they filled the crack and pumped up the front porch but that did not take care of the problem. We have since been informed by the company there is nothing else they can do. I would not recommend this company.

Used K&K a few years back. I wasn’t going to write a review at the time, but this keeps gnawing at me, so I need to get this out there. 2 or 3 years ago, we hired them to pour a concrete patio in our backyard. Very responsive, came out immediately to provide a price. Work was great, and we were very happy with the finished patio.
A year or so later, we wanted a sidewalk poured from the new patio to a new shed we had built. Called up K&K again. Very responsive, reasonable price and they had availability immediately to do the work. Afterwards, while we were generally happy with the sidewalk, they didn’t run their forms all the way to the ground, so a lot of the concrete squished out below and didn’t have a nice finished edge. No big deal, shot them a quick email, and they immediately came out. Guy took a demo saw and removed the rough edges. Looked good, and everybody was happy.
Well fast forward a couple weeks, I notice all my grass on that side of the yard was really drying out. I fire up that sprinkler zone, and sure enough, water starts bubbling up immediately adjacent to the new sidewalk. Created a loss of pressure in that zone so none of my sprinkler heads were working. My first thought was maybe when they took that demo saw, they accidentally zipped the top of a sprinkler line. No big deal, shot them another quick email.
This time, complete change in their attitude. Ignored my first email. After maybe a week, I followed up again. The women I always communicated with, usually warm and friendly, was stone cold about this. Couldn’t have been their fault. In fact, they denied even coming back out to my house a second time with the demo saw. I was shocked. I re-forwarded the email chain where they agreed coming out to smooth out the sides of the sidewalk. Again, denial. They said none of their guys remember coming out. I was furious. I placed a phone call, and pushed the issue. The manager was incredibly defiant and rude, it just couldn’t have been their fault. But they finally agreed to send someone back out, in a week or so. Every time before they came out within maybe 48 hours or so, no problem. This time, maybe by the end of next week.
I had spent thousands of dollars with them in concrete work and for them to be so dismissive and cold with me about a potential issue really upset me. My lawn was looking worse and worse by the day. I couldn’t wait until the following week for them to come out. I dug up the line myself, and guess what? It wasn’t their demo saw. No, instead, there was a perfectly square hole in the top of the line where their wood stake went through when setting the forms. No big deal, accidents happen, they could have charged me the fix and I wouldn’t have cared. It was their adamant denial that this remotely could have happened and lack of any genuine customer service to keep their clients happy.
If you are searching the internet for a good general contractor in metro Denver, look for someone else. Once they run your credit card, you are in their rear view mirror for good. Reading some of their replies on other reviews here, they’ll probably deny I was a past customer or something like that. That would be about par for the course. -
Starting with the site visit, timely estimate and completed project I want Dena, Chris, and the crew know how much I appreciate the work that was done to mediate our drainage issue. Showing up when you say, doing a professional job and cleaning up is something we don’t always see. Know we are very happy!

Terrible workmanship and equally terrible customer service. Our patio was poured two years ago by the previous owners of our home, right before we moved into our home. K and K paved over an active sprinkler head. From the time we saw the house to moving into the house the side patio had already developed a crack. The previous owner made many attempts to get K and K back out to seal the crack, but they only came out after weeks of hounding. Now, two years later a large crack has formed in the stamped concrete portion of the patio and it is noticeably sinking. After calling them to inform them of this they told me they do not offer more than a year warranty and it is not transferable to new owners. Instead of discussing this with me in a civilized manner they hung up on me when I informed them I was displeased with how our patio had aged in such a short amount of time. Obviously, they do not stand behind their workmanship. I would advise any prospective customers to look elsewhere.

K & K Construction was great to work work. They listened to us and were creative with a solution for our drainage problem. The work was done quickly and well. We highly recommend K & K! Thank you for your help!

The experience with K&K construction was flawless from start to finish. None of the competitors bids come close to their pricing. The driveway looks incredible with great details. I highly recommend them.

We have used K&K twice now for concrete and have been incredibly pleased both times. They show up, do what they say they will, clean up and do great work. We have neighbors that have used them after seeing the stamped concrete they did for us last summer. Finding a company that follows through is rare these days and this is why we will continue to use and refer people to K&K.

I highly recommend K&K Construction for your projects. I had all my flag stone walk ways in the back removed and stamped cement put in. They took 2 days as they said, were professional, crew was on time. I am very picky and have to say there was not even one thing I would change.

We hired K & K construction to remove and replace old drive & walkway additionally we we expanded the side yard to be included in the monolithic driveway. Above and beyond that large project we also hired K & K to pour a 12 x 19 separate pad in our backyard. We did a lot of preparation for this project ourselves to save on money so the demolition and completing of the concrete was done in half a day. The next day they came back to pour the back shed, which was another half day for the crew. On site was Chris and his crew, Chris was patient and ensured there was communication throughout the project. The crew was friendly, polite and skilled. The work done was satisfactory. We are pleased with the outcome and would hire them again for our future needs.

Thoroughly impressed with this company, and extremely happy with the outcome of my project. K & K was extremely thoughtful and professional from the time of the initial estimate, to the end of the project. The crew was kind and hardworking. The owner of the company worked with me to help create an amazing patio and layout that would fit my growing family's needs. Their attention to detail and overall knowledge was greatly appreciated. K & K went above and beyond my expectations. I'm very thankful I went with this company for a new driveway, garage floor, stamped and colored concrete patio and walkways, and a boat pad.

Superb workmanship at a competitive price. K&K installed a new heated driveway and walk with concrete and pavers for us. Work was done quickly between freezes last November. Neighbors giving us compliments on the handsome job, and I love watching the snow melt!😁

Hired them to do a stamped patio and they did such an unprofessional and sloppy job. Water puddles in spots when it rains and they filled in a hole with some plastic caulk which didn't last.
The whole patio just looks so sad and I regret hiring them. Keep shopping for your concrete company folks. It's not this one.
Edit: I see they replied. Great. The puddle comment meant that water does not drain away from the house. I mentioned that I wanted the patio sloped away from the house for proper drainage. This didn't happen and water pools in puddles in several locations. I told them this was happening after install in July 2018. The patio sealer was failing by the spring and I emailed them in May 2019 with my concerns that the patio was developing flecks and chips. Their work didn't even last a year before it looked terrible. I reached out the them that with my issues and they brushed my concerns aside as normal wear and tear with a sealer recommendation. I purchased the recommended sealer and have used it many times but I'm not satisfied with their original project. It's like putting lipstick on a pig honestly.
I will be reaching out to a new company to hopefully salvage their messy work. Lastly, I have a friend who had a stamped concrete patio done in the same year and his looks amazing in comparison. This company now has a 3.3 rating on Google so I'm not the only unsatisfied client. I write this review 6 years later to help someone avoid this company in the future.
I only wish that someone had warned me. -
What a great experience I had with K&K Construction. It started off with the initial estimate which was accurate and within my project budget. No up sale and great customer service. The project turned out amazing and the crew was professional and respectful. If you are looking for concrete work K&K is your company

Wish I could give these guys 5 stars but their clean up is lacking. The deconstruction of my deck and the concrete patio replacement went well, however, they ruined my brick pavers and a rock area leading to the back yard when they were rolling the cement back there. I've attached before and after photos. This could have been prevented by simply placing a couple of tarps down.
I've emailed and called K&K to remedy this but they have not taken any action to fix the damage. This truly makes me sad because I had 4 other friends who wanted to use this company for their concrete needs. However, due to the sloppiness and disregard for my other property, I cannot recommend them at this time.
