Patrick gave us quote and a timeline for roof replacement and for painting the non-brick portions of the house. They accomplished exactly what they said they would do, and they did it in the time frame that was quoted. I am a very detail-oriented person and I expect quality work. Patrick and his crew did not let me down.
My wife and I are extremely happy with the roof and the painting. The painters did an excellent job protecting our brick and our concrete. They also did a fantastic job of replacing any rotted facia board and they replaced all the old, outdated soffit vents with Hardie board soffit vent.
We are extremely pleased with our new roof as well. Patrick went over all the details of the roof system that Stronghold Restoration installs including the way they install the waterproof barrier and the roof valley system. Again, the attention to quality and the attention to detail during installation was impressive.

We recently had a storm cause damage to our roof. Since we are only 6 years into our new home, this was devastating for our family.

We had several so called roofing companies soliciting in our neighborhood, but they all seemed to not get that this is our home. Not just a roof over our head. The folks at Stronghold Restoration and Roofing, in particular Mario B. stood out amongst the other companies. Mario took his time explaining the process and setting reasonable expectations for us. I can’t tell you how much this positive attention to detail and knowing the job is done right the first time really meant to us. Simply put, it gave us back our sense of security and knowing that it was actually going to be ok.

In closing… let’s not forget the crew. These guys were awesome! Highly professional, polite, clean, and safe. Oh, did I mention that the work was completed in one day!!??

Floyd was awesome. He's a good communicator and very professional. I have a metal roof with a longer than typical drip edge. They did a great job figuring out which size gutters would work. I really appreciated that. Installation was fast. The crew did a good cleanup job. Highly recommend and will use them again.

August of 2025 we had a bad storm with hail and we had a roofing company come by but they didn’t have good reviews , Steve Spencer showed up to the house , but I like to look up reviews before making a decision and decided to go with Strong Hold , after seen such great reviews , best decision I’ve ever made , Steve Spence was there since the beginning till end . Very professional and dedicated. He answered all questions and when my claims department asked for more paperwork from Strong Hold , Steve went right to it and they send everything they asked for so fast I was amazed. My roof looks beautiful and it was done so fast . My neighbors loved it they said my house looks great and now they want to choose the same color roof I picked . I would definitely without doubt highly recommend Strong Hold . I want to give a big thanks to Steve Spence for such an amazing and dedicated Project Manager.

We requested a quote from Stronghold roofing to inspect the siding on our home and replace damaged locations. We worked exclusively with Ken Gunter, project manager in trying to coordinate the work. Not only was he constantly unresponsive, but was repeatedly patronizing and rude to us over text. I am severely dissatisfied with the level of professionalism of the employees of Stronghold roofing. We will not be using their services now or anytime in the future.

Love the new roof! Jen Spires was a great salesperson throughout the process! There was never a time that I felt pushed to use Stronghold from Jen and was even encouraged to look at other options (being that roof buying is a costly expense and should be well thought out) before making my decision. Jen and Stronghold worked with me on cost that all parties were in agreement on. She walked me through step by step of what would take place before, during and after the build. Before the build took place, I received communication leading up to the day of the build (even needing to move the build to a different day because of weather). Jen was on location throughout the process to make sure everything was handled with care. I had a few little things of question after (I’m picky over little details) and she addressed those concerns immediately. After the completion of the roof and gutters, I needed to submit paperwork and pictures to my insurance company in order to reduce my rate for annual premium. Jen and Stronghold got all of that to me right away for submission to the insurance company. The overall experience was easy, comfortable and as good as one could possibly feel having to upgrade such an important part of one’s home! I’m glad I went with Stronghold and that Jen was the one walking through the process with me! The roof and gutters look amazing and makes my house look brand new again!

After Hurricane Beryl in July 2024, my insurance company denied a new roof stating it could be repaired. From the number of shingles I picked up from the yard after the storm and from subsequent storms and wind events the roof was not in good shape. In January 2025, while working on another roof in the neighborhood I met Andrew and Wanda of StrongHold and myself, my wife discussed with them the roof and that we were denied a new roof. Ironically our insurance company was at that time being investigated for denying replacement roofs in North Carolina after they were hit by a hurricane. They were also named defendant in a class action suit due to denying roof replacement and the CEO was hauled in front of Congress to answer for it. So Andrew climbed on the roof, was up there 30 mins, measuring, drawing chalk outlines indicating damage, took lots of pictures. Climbed down and told us “ we are going to appeal this”. We said fine and he explained in detail the process. It took 2 months, he kept us updated and boom April 13 he called and the roof was approved and we just had to pay the deductible! Up to that point we were no money out of pocket for StrongHold file the appeal, hire a 3 rd party appraiser and deal with the insurance company on our behalf. April 24 the crew started at 6:30am and worked till 9pm. They moved plants, furniture, covered everything including the pool, spa, beds. They were back at 8 am the next day to clean up, and you would not know they had been there. The clean up was spotless! We have a beautiful roof, well installed, top notch materials and warrantied till well past I’m gone. If you are in a situation like we were call StongHold ask for Andrew and you will be as happy as we are! I highly recommend them!!

I got my roof replaced by Floyd and Jonathan and their team from Stronghold today. They did an amazing job, were super efficient, and the work they did was stellar. They were done by 1pm! I can't believe this is the same house we started with! I know for a fact they used high quality materials and workmanship to be able to hold such a long and transferable warranty. Floyd was amazing as he walked me through the entire claims process from the hail damage last year and how the window was closing to file the claim for it. He addressed all my concerns and was patient with me as I asked all my questions. In fact, Floyd helped me handle most of the coordination with insurance for me as I was too busy to keep playing phone tag with my insurance adjuster. We decided on fair pricing for the new roof and gutters, and I cannot recommend a better Project Manager than Floyd and Stronghold! Thank you so much for taking care of my roof!

Stronghold did a great job replacing our old damaged roof with top rated GAF products.

We originally didn't believe they could negotiate with our insurance provider for coverage that was previously denied, but they were successful, saving us a lot of money!

Their approach to the job was professional and they were willing to work around a couple of timing issues for us. Their crews were very considerate and protected our flower beds, pool and equipment, AC gear and generator.

They also do restoration and took care of water streaking from the roof leaks on some interior sheet rock surfaces. They did a nice job on this, too.

We decided to give Stronghold a chance based on a neighbor's positive feedback from their recent job. We're glad we did.

After spinning my wheels with insurance and other roofers, Julian came out and inspected our roof and wow what a difference! He took his time, showed me pictures and spent more time than any other person on our roof gathering info to meet with the insurance adjuster. Great experience working with Ken and the team. They walked me through every step of working with TWIA and getting everything handled with deductibles and such. Very happy with their work on the roof and clean up afterwards. The whole roof was done in one day.

Stronghold did an excellent job on our roof replacement! They were able to navigate us through a complicated insurance process where our claim was originally denied, but ended up getting the insurance company to take on the roof cost (minus deductible of course). I had given up on the prospect of the insurance company helping us before Stronghold got involved. Also, the roof installation process was extremely professional and the sales team was onsite for most of it to ensure that the work was done properly. They even threw in some unplanned add-ons like a dryer vent that was installed improperly by the builder as well as some additional ventilation that was not obvious before work began. The roof came out perfect, and the cleanup was amazingly thorough. I have found exactly one roof nail on the ground since the work was completed! My wife and I are very particular with contractor work, and we have very high expectations. Stronghold met every one of them. I would highly recommend using Stronghold to help with anyone looking for a roof replacement!
