We just had our roof replaced. Alec and his team did a great job. Alec was very professional, friendly and always made sure we were happy with the progress. His team did a wonderful job from beginning to end, including clean up. My husband and I will recommend Alec in the future and ourselves again when the time comes.

I am very happy with the service from West Michigan Roofing and Construction. In October 2019, we decided we needed a new roof. I called four contractors for competing bids. One no-call/no-showed, one cancelled the estimate appointment and never called back, another was three hours late to the estimate appointment, and the other - WMRC - was two *days* early. Being in the area ahead of time, Tony came by to take a look, then came back a few days later to take a few more pictures to ensure his estimate was correct. He was professional and punctual through the entire pre-work communication and was very clear on what the plans would be. He even coordinated with a local gutter company to address some other minor issues we were having.

The morning the work was scheduled, Manuel and his team were on-site at 9am and worked steadily throughout the day. They completed our roof in two days flat, and that included some major straightening and buttressing of rafters and support members. The work is clean, sturdy, looks great. I've recommended them to family and would be happy to work with them again. Tony, Manuel, thanks to you and your team for a great experience!

We are extremely pleased with the roofing job done on our home. From the first moment the we met with their salesman, Michael Ryan, we were impressed with his professionalism and knowledge of materials that would be best for our project. He was very informative and put us at ease that he would be the contact throughout the entire process. He was readily accessible. All timeframes were kept, everyone was punctual and all expectations were exceeded. There were a couple of small issues but even those were promptly resolved. We highly recommend West Michigan Roofing and Construction and would definitely use them again.

Tony Costello was excellent! He gave us personal attention throughout the whole process, listened well, and provided the finest service possible. The people actually installing our roof also did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves each day, and the finished product is great. The supplier of the materials damaged our driveway, but Tony stood with us until they had not only agreed to repair it, but also until the work was actually completed to our satisfaction. Great job!

West Michigan Roofing did a great job on the tear off and re-roofing job on my home. The project started and was completed when they said it would. The quality of the workmanship was in my estimation excellent. Tony Costelloe, the salesman with whom I worked did a great job explaining the process, and was in regular communication as the start day of the project approached. Our original roof was 20+ years old and was starting to leak and was not sure who I should call for a replacement roof. After having their roof replaced due to storm damage, our neighbors recommended West Michigan Roofing to us and seeing their A+ standing with the Better Business Bureau I made the call to get a quote. Don was flexible with our schedule and came over with to discuss our options. Don was straight forward with the cost, materials and time line. Great communication with Don and WMR during the entire process, including follow up calls to see if we had any problems or concerns. The crew showed up at 8AM on the dot and stayed until they were done and everything was cleaned up. Very happy with our choice to use WMR.

West Michigan Roofing and Anthony Costelloe were great to work with when we needed a new roof in 2019.
After a big wind storm we discovered that large sections of shingles had blown off the roof of our north Holland home. I called West Michigan Roofing immediately and they sent someone out the very same day to secure the roof temporarily. I was very happy with the speed of their response.
Anthony Costelloe was our contact person, and he was great to work with as he coordinated with our insurance company and helped us to navigate the claim process. In the end, we had to get about 90 % of our roof replaced and the West Michigan Roofing team did a great job. They were reliable, cleaned up after themselves and we were very happy with the quality of the job they did.

The entire team at West Michigan Roofing was outstanding. It isn’t often that I can say someone exceeded my expectations but they did. After my phone call a gentleman by the name of Tony Costelloe came over and went over everything including climbing up the roof several times. We needed a new riff and three skylights replaced. Tony was diligent in figuring that out. If you need a roof ask for Tony. Past Tony the installation crew was amazing. Clean organized professional and nice. I would highly recommend this group. From planning to finish all was great.

We had been trying to schedule our roof to be done for 2 years from a company that continued to kick the can down the road for scheduling our project. I finally just decided to call West Michigan Roofing to see what they could do for us. In a matter of less than two weeks from that phone call, we had our new roof! In fact, the actual work at our home was done in only two days! This showed me how good communication and proper planning makes for a very successful project. We were sent a document to educate us on "what to expect", but honestly, it must have been a document to reflect a worst case scenario. The day they started was the same day the dumpster arrived as well as the material, and the end of the following day, the site was clean, the dumpster gone, and all extra materials removed. The team that actually did the work had to have been a seasoned crew as they worked smoothly and collectively, and yet, you could hear them banter and laugh amongst themselves all day just adding to the positive atmosphere. As an organization, they were always in contact, from the very beginning to the very end, making sure that all our expectations were being met, and if anything was not quite right, it was being handled in quick fashion. Another great thing that makes West Michigan Roofing unique is that they can offer you a "workmanship warranty" that goes right alongside any material warranty giving you extra piece of mind. There will always be bargain roofers out there that will lay a shingle for you at a better rate, but if you want to have a roof done by people that have been doing this for decades and know how to get it done and done right, then I would recommend you contact West Michigan Roofing. I used them for a roof a few months ago and that was fine. Jim was great and super helpful. The only reason I'm leaving 3 stars is because their referral program is a little less than honest. If they can find a way to weasel out of that they will. So if you refer someone to them don't get your hopes up that they'll hold up their end of the bargain. If they can get out of paying you then they will. It's too bad because otherwise they're a great company that does good work.

Process actually began back in January 2019 at the GR Remodeling & New Homes show. Got several numbers and contacts to get bids from to do this major home project. Current roof is 25 years old and was on it's way out. Interviews were interesting as I did 4 different companies to get bids from. A learning curve was involved so each one offered something unique to them. West Michigan Roofing and Construction was the definite winner as not only the best product but the sales person Jeff Alexander was knowledgeable and up to date on new tech and availability of their product to use on my house. His help was indeed good and working with me also instilled confidence in going ahead with this major task. Once the decision was made it went fast and as of April 1 2019 the old roof was taken off and the new one is on and looks flawless from all I can tell. Will pick West Michigan Roofing and Construction ahead of others for any future projects here.

West Michigan Roofing did an awesome job on replacing our old and stained roof with a new beautiful roof. We have a pretty big home and wanted to also get our shed, playhouse, and playset re-roofed as well. They did it all in 2 1/2 days and did a quality job. I really appreciated the help our project manager, Derek, provided. He helped us pick out a great color and even climbed on the roof to lay out shingles so we could get an idea of how it would look on the house. Derek made sure we were aware of all shingle and venting options and helped us pick the options that are right for us… and after I checked with a few other roofing contractors and saw the BBB rating we knew West MI Roofing was the right choice. The roofers were customer focused and although busy, they took the time to answer any questions or requests we had. Brendon, the crew manager, did a great job making sure the crew had what they needed, were doing quality work, and were happy. He even climbed up on the roofs to help wrap up the job. We love the look of our new roof and know it will last. I am very happy with the job West Mi Roofing did and highly recommend them.

Booko Brothers General Contractors were recommended to us by our insurance company after a pipe burst in our basement. Working with them on the insurance claim was incredibly easy and quick. Every single person who came out to the house was really friendly and professional. I was asked for feedback or to confirm that I wanted to move forward with what we decided every step of the way. There were several cost saving recommendations made, which helped us keep out-of-pocket costs down and allowed us to improve what we previously had in some areas. It was a great experience from start to finish and I'd be glad to hire them for another project on our house.

Top notch customer service!! Booko Brothers had Dylan come and write a reconstruction estimate for my kitchen after a water damage incident. Even though I was not able to hire Booko Brothers on this project due to a couple of complications, Dylan has been very helpful throughout this whole process. He returned every one of my phone calls very promptly and helped me understand where we were at in the process and what the next steps would be. I will definitely be calling Booko Brothers if another need arises.

The recent tornadoes in Portage left my roof in poor shape. I contacted Booko Brothers about a bid to replace my roof. Dylan Ball came out and assembled a bid for me in one day. After approval by my insurance company Booko Brothers had a crew on the roof in less than a week. They installed a new roof and facia in one day...Looks great! A job Well Done!

I own a condo in a historic building, and we had a water leak issue that damaged my bathroom. Booko Brothers expertly managed the entire process of renovating my bathroom, from navigating the insurance claim to scheduling and overseeing each step of the repair process, including having to deal with some unforeseen challenges due to the eccentricities of my building. They were a pleasure to work with, and my new bathroom is beautiful!

Great experience from start to finish! We had damage from a very intense storm and after we called Booko Brothers Dylan found a time that worked for us and came out right away. He communicated directly with our insurance to work out all the details and responded to all our questions immediately as they came up during the process. He took extra time out to advise and help us compare different colors of the full size shingle samples outside against our property and left them with us so we could take the time we needed to decide. Their office was also quick to respond to questions and help us with the process. The team was great and highly skilled to complete our roof in one day. Great communication and we love how the work turned out. Highly recommend!

This company's performance of my house repairs was horrible. I had a burst water pipe in my bathroom. It took them 5.5 months to complete the repairs. My insurance company paid for me to stay in a hotel the entire time. I consulted another construction company about how long it should take to complete the repay. They told me that a house that was burned down would be torn down and rebuilt in 90 days. There were 2-3 week periods where no one would show up to do the work. They lost my towel bar parts that were in my bathroom and they complained about having to pay for a new one. Biggest thing is I wanted light colored wood flooring in upstairs. They brought me two samples of dark flooring and one sample of light flooring. I chose the light flooring. The problem is that it was cheap flooring that they probably had in their warehouse. The problem is any time fluids are spilled on their floor the fluid slips between the cracks and causes huge gaps in the flooring tile spaces. I had another construction company looking at it and was told that it was cheap flooring and that the flooring cannot be fixed. I have to save up money for a new floor that I should not have to pay for. Also, when it came time for me to sign off on the repairs that were done, they intentionally over billed the insurance company by $2500. I scratched out the repair/product replacements that never occurred. They got angry with me. I called their main office but got no where. The supervisor that I was having problems with was the one answering the phone and refused to give me the owners contact information. If you hear their name, run away from them. A bad experience as a whole.
