James, Zach, and Jeron were phenomenal in their customer service, efficiency and delivery. They were open to feedback through the whole process and very inclusive. We also had some siding replaced by Scott and Cam which looks awesome! Eric and Joe work well together for managing the entire project.

10 years ago we had Vanderlaan install new windows throughout our entire home and after 10 years we finally had a service call but not because of a window failure but because we cracked a window while doing lawn work.

We called Joe from Vanderlaan and he sent out James to do a glass replacement and everything was going well until the locking latch broke. The latch was a older and discontinued style but that didn't let that prevent them from finding us a match.

It took a couple months but they never gave up and sent their installer James back today to install the replacement. Our puppy met him at the door and remembered him as a dog lover and treat giver. James took off his shoes without request and entered our home to get the work done.

We highly recommend Vanderlaan Home Improvement and kudos to Vanderlaan for hiring such a caring and consciousness Installer like James.

We had an excellent experience with VanderLaan Home Improvement for replacement of our exterior trim and the glass windows in our exterior doors. Shout out to Cameron and Scott and Dan and Jeron who were professional, efficient and provided high-quality service.

We hired Vander Laan HI on the recommendation of a friend and we are really glad we did! We met with Eric to discuss our wants and needs and he really helped to guide us towards what was best for us. The installers James, Zach and Cameron showed up on time, they were personable, hard working and professional. This was a multi-day job and we are living in the home, so I really appreciated that they cleaned up after themselves each day. Our new windows look amazing , it is a quality product and I'm so happy that we hired this great team to take care of us!

VanderLaan has been nothing but quality and good service for us. We had our house recited as well as new metal casing put around our exterior doors. The guys that came to do it were professional, explained everything they were doing and how it worked, and took time and did the job right. On 25 June 2025 we had Vanderlaan Home improvement installed new windows in our home and once again give them AAA+++. Dan and Jerron were our installers and were fantastic. Great customer service and professionalism.

Dan and Zach did a great job with our door install. There were a couple of hiccups that were handled right away and made right. Thanks VanderLaan for a beautiful new door!

VanderLaan's service team was efficient and knowledgeable and the installer, James, was excellent! He communicated with me regularly during the installation of my new sliding door and he was very concerned with keeping the area clean and organized. I appreciated his knowledge and friendly attitude. I would happily call VanderLaan's again for another project!

We've had some ongoing issues that showed up early with 2 slider doors that we've had replaced. Up front communication was good, and Eric does a great job at the home on the estimates and in helping determine what we need. We are still waiting on some follow up work to be done before the slider doors go out of warranty, and many emails and calls are going either with no response or with a promise of follow up and then little to no follow up. We're concerned that our doors will go out of warranty with the problems that we have and they will no longer be covered. We're not sure touching them up is going to be a good long term solution, but we're open to your suggestions. We'd like our issues, albeit minor issues, resolved with an assurance of warranty coverage in order to earn more stars. Thanks.

Scott and Cameron came to my home to fix a roof issue. They got into the job and it was much worse than anticipated. The end price was very reasonable and much better than I expected. Very happy to way things worked out.

Eric and Kevin replaced a slider and windows in my home. They were so accommodating, professional, timely and did a really beautiful job. Communication was great. Highly recommend!

James and Zach were very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. They knew what they were doing and did a great job in a timely manner! They even cleaned up nicely. Would highly recommend.

Upon being recommended by a local building supply company, I called Grant at VanderLaan Home Improvement to complete exterior tasks that the builder left unfinished. Grant was responsive and promptly came to the house to look at my projects that needed to be done.

Grant was clear in stating that their schedule was packed and that they may not be able to get to it until October, but if something became available, he would let me know. Grant provided a quote later that day. We accepted, knowing we would have to be patient. He called a week or two later stating that he was just finishing up a big job around the holiday, and wondered if he could squeeze our job in before the next big job. Heck yeah!

Responsible. Timely. Honest. Fair. Did what he said they would do by following through as promised. Professional, knowledgeable, and respectful work crew. Quality work. Clean work site. I could go on and on about Grant and his crew because these kinds of people and companies are nearly impossible to find, let alone those that actually follow through on their word.

I am very happy with the window and slider I purchased from VanderLaan's. James did a great job installing them. He was very friendly and polite and asked more than once if I had any questions. He made sure the color was right and cleaned everything up very well.

Eric was very prompt to come to my condo to assess the issues with two windows and make recommendations. The time between ordering new windows and scheduling installation was reasonable. James was the Installer. I can't say enough nice things about James. He was personable, professional and took obvious care to install the new windows correctly. Vanderlaan Home Improvement replaced my roof from hail damage. Eric went above and beyond with meeting an adjuster, helping the process be easy for me, helping pick out replacement shingles/valley, and his updates with the actual work performed.
The crew lead by Hector did a banner job tearing off old shingles and putting the new on in under 2 days. I can honestly say that I looked all over the driveway and yard and did not find a single nail left behind. Very professional job! I would absolutely refer them to friends and family.

I thought Zack did an amazing job with all the details getting his attention and completing the tasks in a timely manner. He is very good at what he does and I would recommend him to anybody.
