We were told our fence would be scheduled 3 weeks out from when we paid our deposit. Paid our deposit on May 8th. Scheduled it for June 9th. Never heard any updates. We called the week of June 23rd and were told it would be by the end of the week. Never heard from them. We cancelled the job and the office rep was going to speak to the owner about our refund. Still haven’t heard back. Called to check up on it and no one answered.

Great Company with top notch Customer Service and professional work. The two (Goose and Mike) installers were amazing and always kept us up to date what was going on. Managers Dustin and Dewey came to the job daily to keep us updated as well. The owner Jason was just as great with amazing customer service and incredible results from this job. Highly recommend this Company if you want a job done right with unbeatable customer service. Thank you all again!

Affordable fencing recently repaired my automatic gate opening system. Great communication, fast parts ordering and quick to install the parts once they were installed. Excellent service!!!

A tree fell right through my fence gate to my pool. I called the well known local company that put it up and was told an outrageous number to replace it. Affordable Fencing Solutions came out gave me a price that was less than half of the other companies. They came out the very next day and installed the gate matching exactly the one that was destroyed. I highly recommend them, they were very professional and efficient.

Worst customer service I’ve ever seen. Paid deposit back in May. Was supposed to start on job the week of June 9th. Never saw or heard from them. I called them after a couple weeks and they said they would get to it that week. Never saw them. I called the next week and said just give us our money back and we’ll get someone else to do it. She said she would talk to Jason about it because yes it had been a while and she would call me back. Never heard back. Called them back days later and they won’t even answer. Sounds like theft to me. Paid over 2 months ago and still haven’t delivered what was promised. I called the salesman, who I’ve known for years and he said they had fired him with no warning. Sounds like they’re about to go under if you ask me. Probably can’t afford to buy materials to do the work. Still waiting to hear back on my refund. Probably can’t afford that either. I’ve worked for several small businesses and I’ve never seen them treat anyone this way. They’ve yet to reach out to me, at all. How do you run a business like this?

Had to only put up partial fencing because my neighbors had fences up already. Not sure who they used, but they should've used Affordable Fencing Solution, because mine looks better. Had a small issue with the opening/closing of my gate, but they sent out Goose and Brian. The gate almost closes on it's own now. Would recommend this company again and again!

Incredible job, the level of professionalism and dedication to their craft was awesome, to be out here in the cold doing this job. These guys were amazing I cannot express in enough words the level of gratitude I have in the work they did.

I have used this company twice for first build and then a repair after strong tornado winds. Professional is everything to me especially after years of service in the military I expect a standard of service. Brittany is truly the face of service, her professionalism and customer service mentality reenforces the work quality of the company. I definitely recommend the company and recommend a raise or appreciation day for Brittany .

Alan was very responsive when a branch came through the roof of my rental house. He was able to get it fixed quickly and match the shingles really closely, within less than 24 hours. He communicated clearly and the price was reasonable.

Alan came out a couple of weeks ago to give me an estimate on roof repairs I called him back a couple of days later to set it up. Do to a total miss communication on my part he came out this morning to start job. Again my fault. I had to stop him for starting job. He was super understanding and very understanding. I will be calling him again when I can get this done. I just hope he can forgive my screw up and repair my roof again this was all my fault

This roofer is outstanding! He knows how to talk with customers. He's upfront and honest. He is quick to respond to calls. He is professional and courteous. That's all good! Most importantly though, he is a fantastic roofer! We have a difficult roof--very low pitch and lofted ceilings leaving virtually no room between roofing and ceiling. He roofed our house well when other local roofers had problems (3 others, to be exact). Because our roof is problematic, we call on him periodically to inspect it. He does it; he stands behind his work. He came recommended to us a few years ago, and we are so glad. We will not use another roofer besides Alan Townsend.

Folks, Alan was recommended to us by a long time construction person who has done great work for us over years. On time, did what he said he would and no surprises. Roof on home and boathouse were finished this past Monday. It has stormed for two days and no problems. I’d heartily recommend his company.

We had Alan Townsend put a new roof on our home little over 5 years ago. When done the roof was very nice and they clean everything, we had no complaints. However, we had 2 leaks a few years later damaging two ceilings in different rooms. We called Mr. Townsend and he came and repaired the leaks. On Thursday Aug. 30th, I call Mr. Townsend back because we had 1 very bad leak were water just poured through when it rain and totally ruined part of the ceiling that will have to be replace. The 2nd leak wasn’t has bad but the ceiling will need painting. He said they would look at it the next day, Friday Aug.31st. He did not show up nor did he call. I called Mr. Townsend again on Monday Sept. 3rd ,and he was very abrupt but said he would come by and fix it the next day. He never showed up nor did he call. I called him back he was very rude told he was very busy and that it wasn’t suppose to rain again to end of the week and he would come Saturday morning, which it did rain. Mr. Townsend never showed up nor did he ever call. After pulling the paper work for the roof we pd +12,000.00 for, we realized the shingles themselves were still under warranty, but the installation was nor longer under warranty. Which explains why he never showed up or called. Mr. Townsend is a very rude, dishonest, unprofessional, and lacks integrity. I would not recommend him to anyone,b Eva use his work only last a few years. We had another roofer come out to fix our problem, without telling anything who installed our roof, he told us who ever put our work up cut a lot of corners.

Alan and Randy did a fantastic job this morning on repairing the two end caps on my roof. I called Alan yesterday afternoon and he said he would be out to my house 8am Sunday morning. It's good to know you can still count on someone's word these days. Great work and outstanding service today. I would recommend Alan and his team for any of your roofing needs.

Alan and his crew did a great job installing our new roof and ridge vent. We called him on a Thursday, he identified the problems with our existing (now former) roof, and by the next Tuesday at noon, our new roof was done! Crew was courteous, clean and professional. Showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend!

I called Mr. Townsend looking for someone to just do the roof n clean up, we already bought roofing materials. Without coming out (he was in the middle of another job), Mr. Townsend asked me to take a picture of the house roof and text it to him. With just the pic he gave me an estimate. It was a very good estimate so we asked him to do the job.
He came out with his crew, early morning, and his crew got to work immediately! They were all very polite and respectful. Mr. Townsend tacks the shingles etc. with hammer and nails ( no nail gun). Which means no misses, everything is secure. The roof is beautiful! and the whole area is clean, they even take a large magnet and go around the whole house to pick up any stray nails!
We had enough materials for everything but 4 ft. of one corner, there was not enough corner shingles. Mr. Towsend and two crew members came back out as soon as we bought the materials and finished the job! I HIGHLY recommend Townsend Roofing!!

Mr. Townsend replace my two Skylight. His prices was very reasonable and he gave me a veteran discount. He did an outstanding job on time.

Replaced our roof but didn’t offer or install an attic vent even though we told him to use top shelf shingles and materials, even if it cost more money. Was out of town when he did it. He did return to install the vent without charging but was pretty unprofessional during our conversation and we have picked up over 50 roofing nails in the yard. I would have given him 5 stars if not for this because the roof is beautiful. His son is very nice and professional.

Update....
Two big storms later and my roof was once again leaking in the same spot. Called Alan, he said he said he’d be out to check it out the next day. I never heard from him again.

Alan came out to my house on a Thursday to check out a leak over my garage. After identifying the issue Alan and his crew were at my house by 9:30am Saturday to repair my roof.

Through out my whole experience Alan was prompt, professional, and responsive. He called for clarification on directions to my house the first day and then again to confirm the appointment before coming out Saturday morning.

I had to have decking replaced and the back side of my roof replaced. In 3 hours his crew removed replaced and roofed the back hips of my duplex rental. I would highly recommend Alan Townsend Roofer and his team. They also found hale damage and are working to help me get the rest of my repairs through my insurance. I'm happy my roof is repaired and was done professional fast quality work and I'm getting help now from my insurance!! Thank you so much Alan Townsend "Roofer" and your awesome crew for all your help!
