Every thing you could need great store

0 stars! This is the WORST shopping experience in my entire life. Absolutely, NO accountability, NO customer service, complete INCOMPETENCE from floor staff through upper management. This store needs to be shut down and/or the entire management FIRED. I made the HUGE mistake of trying to purchase kitchen cabinets in November 2016. The order was placed 11/14/16 with the delivery date of December 20, 2016. It is now May 17, 2017 and are kitchen is still a HUGE MESS. I've been unable to move into my home because of their lack of competence and HORRIBLE customer service. On December 10, 2016, our cabinet installer came to my home to check all the measurements and lay out a plan for the install (i.e. timeline, floorpan etc.). While conducting his due diligence for the job, the cabinet installer discovered that the design measurements were incorrect. So, he took it upon himself to re-measure everything and submitted it to the Home Depot kitchen "designer". The HD kitchen staff told me repeatedly that he rectified the problem, there would be a slight delay but the correct sized cabinets would now arrive at the end of January 2017. Side note: the cabinet installer is/was EXCELLENT, wonderful to work with in every way; competent, intelligent, responsible, efficient- the list goes on- I'd recommend him in a heartbeat!). The HD kitchen "designer" NEVER corrected his mistakes and instead, I received incorrectly sized cabinets- despite the delay- and wrong colored cabinets. The manufacturer verified that a new order was never placed; the only order on file was the original order dating to November 2016. So, he blatantly lied about it and then denied it and refused to rectify the problem. Jim, the "designer" said that if I brought this to managements attention then he would no longer help.Once it was elevated, HD refused to allow a trained, competent designer re-measure & design it. And, they refused to hold themselves accountable for it, as if it wasn't a big deal that we had already lost 3 months waiting on the cabinets because the HD staff aren't trained well, if at all, they dragged their feet about fixing the changes. If the manufacturer (Kraftmaid) hadn't stepped up to mediate the situation, we'd still be without cabinets. Once the next set of cabinets were delivered at the end of March 2017, there were still pieces that were incorrect, so now in the middle of May, my kitchen is still not complete - 7 MONTHS! Kraftmaid had to mediate again because the HD managers couldn't be bothered to try to rectify the situation!!! GM, Jason, couldn't bother himself to speak to me- FIRE IMMEDIATELY! All they did was stammer, I'm sorry, I don't know what to say" and "What do you want us to do?" How about get me the products I PAID for, instead of holding it hostage and dragging this out 7 MONTHS?! Now, May 17, 2017, my husband stops at the HD to pick up the bathroom sinks that were purchased, i.e. paid for in full, back in NOVEMBER and the rude employee at the desk said they weren't available and that the manager, Joe, was busy; and he didn't want to come to the front desk. Excuse me?! Well, I told that ignorant, rude, incompetent employee that he needs to get Joe to the desk, or take himself to the back and get the sinks I PAID for or he can deal with the police and attorney. His responses, "I can't do that"; "Joe doesn't want to come to the desk"; "Joe doesn't want to talk to you". Well, guess what, #*%*#$&%W*$, I don't want to speak with nor deal with any of you AGAIN. But I need this resolved, so get it done. Meanwhile, as I'm dealing with yet another useless employee, I also sent a text to Joe telling him I was at the front desk and that he needs to come up to the desk because I'm there for my sinks. Finally, Joe strolled over, had no clue about the sinks, and had to go find them for my husband to pick up. I also asked my husband to remind Joe that our GE appliances had been sitting for 7 months (warranty about to expire) and that he needs to call the installers to arrange for them to get that situated for us.

I’m still upset. When you call and ask to speak with a manager about an issue and the manager redirects you to an “ Specialist “ without even helping you is not good customer service and it leads me to believe she does not know her product, policy or procedure. I came to Home Depot thinking the customer service would be better there, and they showed me, I was wrong. My flooring installation experience was a nightmare and costly. I guess it’s a lesson learned because it will still go unaddressed unless someone who really cares addresses it. Thank you to the two young ladies Tara and Mrs. Mary who spoke with me and helped as much as they could. Home Depot at least you got that one thing right by hiring them. Now, they have customer service that is superb.

I am very happy with my new carpet installation. My installer Joe was very professional and thorough. He was prompt and did an excellent job in a very timely manner . I could tell he is very experienced and showed pride in his work. He left the area clean before he left and also helped me move some furniture. I will definitely give Home Depot and Joe with Romanoff Renovations a 5 Star review.

Thanks to Jerry for taking extra time to help me find the parts I needed to install a new kitchen faucet. He was very patient, asked the right questions, and found the exact parts I needed. Much appreciated.

Careful ordering your appliances at the store. Ordered new dryer for delivery, install and to hail away the old one within the store. Showed person in the store picture of the outlet for my old one and asked if the new one would work. Person said it wouldn't be a problem and delivery team could install.

Delivery team shows up and says they can't install based on voltage difference. They wouldn't install, and didn't take the old appliance and said I needed to get an electrician to change outlet. Called the store afterwards and was forwarded to appliance number. Appliance people said there was nothing they could do since the deliverers already left.

Overall very dissatisfied with service and support.

Great employee's here. The gentlemen that helped me tonight was great. He took his time with me and didn't rush off. I wish I got his name, shout out to the plumbing department.

Spent $2,000.00.on custom made security doors for my home-based business. Had to call them 4 times to repair. On the 4th time, they wanted to charge me for the same repair, which was no fault of my own. I elevated my concern to headquarters. Spoke with someone in Atlanta, Ga.

A few days later, got a call stating there would be no charge, seeing as though I spent so much on the doors. So I guess, if I hadn't spent so much on doors which were not cut or installed correctly, I would have had to pay for their mistake.

And did I mention that each call for service took at least a week or two, before even getting a callback from the service department?
