We've used this company multiple times now for various projects and there's not much they can't do. Eric and his wife Meg are very professional, honest, hardworking, nice people and don't try to sell you on work you don't need, and are honest about whether a project is even worth your money and time, such as whether we needed to just repair spots on our deck or completely replace it. Finding a trustworthy contractor is hard and not only that, they are fair on pricing and will work with what you need. I highly recommend them for deck construction, tree removal and trimming, firewood, and more. Eric and his crew show up on time and goes above and beyond. I'm not a family member or friend, just a very happy customer that's gotten the runaround too many times from other local small businesses. Very nice people to work with, please give them a chance!

Great company! Job was quoted same day I called, and the job was completed within 3 days of the quote. Efficient work, good communication, very fair pricing, wonderful people to work with!

BIG BLUE FIREWOOD/IHRS CONTRACTING is PHENOMENAL!!! We got a full cord of wood in November and boy, did they deliver! We live in Lexington and they delivered it the next day. The wood was wonderfully seasoned and a great mix of hardwoods.
This is a wonderful family operation, who has worked hard to provide those in Kentucky and most recently, us, with heat for our home. Communication was always fast and easy with them. They are professional and truly care about their customers without being pushy.
We will ALWAYS USE BIG BLUE FIREWOOD!!

When starting a search for what company will take down the pine tree I had in my backyard, admittedly I was nervous. Not only about the price but who I would let have access to my property while I was at work. I contacted IHRS Contracting as one of the top rated Google reviews located in Richmond, KY. Not only did I get a quick response for an estimate but after doing a little more research before the estimate happened, I quickly realized there would not be other companies that would match what I was looking for....boy was I surprised. First, before I the initial estimate occurred I was contacted letting me know a family issue had happened and they needed a couple days before coming out. It was explained what the issue was and I was very happy they put family before work/business. Absolutely!!! Next, when the new estimate time occurred, they contacted me to see if they could come out earlier as I am close to go ahead a give me an estimate since I was rescheduled. Next, when I met the owner/representative, it was like seeing a friend I haven't seen in a long time. Yes, I know some people just don't get along but I immediately felt comfortable. Once I realized this is the company that I will do business with, the turnover for when the crew would show up was very quick (within a week). I know sometimes that varies depending on how busy things are going at the time. When the crew showed up, after I met the crew, I felt comfortable having my 5 year old being around when the crew was present (unfortunately he got strep when it was time to work). He was not outside when the tree went down but they were great when he was present, it was like being around family. Lastly, they did a great job in putting back up a 16 year old privacy fence that was partially deconstructed to help get the tree down. BTW, this was a pine tree approximately 65ish foot tall in a not so accessible area.

Long story short, if you are looking for someone to do some contract work this is your company. I will be contacting them again if I need any work done that I can't complete myself.

IHRS is not only timely but professional. The crew showed up on time and removed four trees leaving our yard very tidy. They left no waste and the entire crew was very polite. Both Eric and Meg are very easy to work with and trustworthy.

They later removed a bunch of stumps again leaving our yard neat and tidy. I highly recommend them for these services.

I live out of state and own a rental property. Eric is such a great resource for me. He's reliable, does good work, and communicates very well. It's easy to tell that he likes what he does and he cares about his work. I have hired him a few times now and I can't see myself going to anyone else.

I had a tree fall through my roof during a recent storm. I called a number of contractors, and this company was the first and fastest to answer the call. Eric was very easy to work with and cared about helping me get my problems solved.

I had issues with my insurance company paying the costs but Eric was patient and communicated with me through the entire process. I never had an issue getting in touch with him if I had any questions and he also had good recommendations for other contractors that could help me through the process of a very stressful time.

Eric and his team did a terrific job removing a few trees, grinding several stumps and building a fence for us. We were also thinking of replacing a deck. Eric took a look at what we had and advised us that it didn't need replacing. Saved us a bunch of money. They were great to work with. Their payment system was very easy to utilize. If you are looking for great service and a great job I highly recommend them.

Delivered firewood. Excellent customer care. Very professional. I called Monday morning. Had wood by 3:30 pm. I can’t say enough good about Eric and his crew. I wouldn’t buy wood from anyone else after Eric.

DOES NOT COMPLETE THE JOB. LEAVES EARLY AFTER ARRIVING LATE. LEFT ME A HUGE BIG LOUSY MESS AND 10 (TEN) PILES OF TREE ROOT DEBRIS AND 3 FOOT DEEP HOLES.

Has refused to return to the job site to clean up his mess. Eric is the owner of IHRS. He was paid in cash, and told me that he would return to clean up and remove the massive amount of debris left from stump grinding ten stumps that line my driveway.

This never happened. Not only are where wood chips and debris, but the site is pock marked with 3 foot deep holes that measure over 4 to 5 feet in diameter.

He has sent me multiple messages stating that he will not complete the job unless he is hired to do additional work. He complains about spending gas money to come to the job site.

This company does not know how to put up a privacy fence ! The gates were heavy and pulled the post out of ground and I couldn’t open them . I told them about it and a man came out and worked on one and it didn’t help much and then I contacted them again and Eric the owner came out and cut a big hole in one gate that I use constantly and left and never came to my door to tell me what he had done and if it was fixed ! I have no ideal what he thought the hole would do to correct the problem . I had another fence company replace both gates and the post and I haven’t had any problems since . I sent them the invoice for replacing the gates but they have ignored it so my next step will be going to court …, I have lots of pictures of the fence and gates .. The fence has started to become apart in several area … see photo

I highly recommend IHRS Contacting, these people go out of their way to make your repairs perfect for you. They treat your home as if it were their home. Hard to actually find in today’s world. Most do not care and do a very unsatisfactory job. These Contractors care!
They have suggestions on what is best for the maintenance of your home, long term. Things I didn’t even think about for the improvement of my home.
I am making list for phase two, of my projects I have put off.
I will just add two photos before and after of their superior work. I had other work done as well, very impressed with outcome of the work and craftsmanship.

Great customer service, worked with my schedule and the service guys were very thoughtful and courteous and worked fast.

These guy's definitely live up to there name "BONAFIDE. Phenomenal service very knowledgeable and professional.I definitely recommend them for such service.

Tyler and Angelo arrived in a very timely manner, ready to get to work. Both of them were knowledgeable and professional, but more importantly courteous and understanding as to the stressful situation I’d found myself in. They worked efficiently and diligently, informing me of the process as they went along. The two moved my belongings with great care, as to avoid damages and effectively dry out the moisture damage in various parts of the home. If ever you ever find yourself in the unfortunate circumstance of needing home restoration due to flooding, major or minor, I highly recommend using Bonafide Restoration.

Called around to find a contractor to give estimate for fire damage . facebook suggested this company. Set appt time with him . he changed it due to a meeting . when he did come out he didnt look at home before he said its going to cost at least 60k or more. I had already gotten other estmates from other companies which had not come close to this. I advised him take a look first do your assessment and provide me feedback. He again advised it would be more then 60k and asked what the other companies had quoted. i told him 15 to 30k . he said go with them . i advised i dont need you to tell me who to go with i only need and estimate. He then in the mist of speaking jumped as if something was crawling on him all while still fast talking me. I said let's walk outside . then he told me if i gave him a review on google a positive review he would give me an estimate. I told him the other companies that came out didnt ask me to do anything for an estimate. He said im up and coming and need the business . i agreed to give a review . he stayed did his thing left. Texted me later with a blank invoice and said he would release it upon my review . i screen shot the prior review . he never sent me anything back . so again a waste of my time. Next day i texted back can i have the estimate he said he sent it ..he didnt . then sent me a estimate for 77k ..at that point i was not pleased with his games. I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a professional company to do business with. Look beyond .

Geo well was amazing ! They came in did the job and it was prefect when they left .. they tore out walls and bathrooms and it was cleaned to perfection ! Highly recommend !

Professionalism. This is the word that I’ll use to describe the person who came to find the leak in our wall. Brandelle was on time for the job. He found the issue right away and addressed it without leaving any messes behind. Ill recommend him 100%

The Guys at GeoWell are extremely Knowledgable with there work. Payed attention to the companies concern and the details involved. From beginning to end they were flexible with our company hours
