Nelson Pena is a craftsman skilled at his trade as he takes a lot of pride in his work! He is a master builder of roofs. In ancient times he would have been amongst the great builders of the tabernacle and temple of Solomon!

Nelson is a true professional and an expert in his craft. I couldn’t have asked for a better result given the complexity of the job. My porch roof was leaking badly, and he guaranteed that it wouldn’t leak again. So far, so good. He even followed up months later. Highly recommended!

Nelson Peña is dedicated to getting the job done no matter what. He and his amigo Lorenzo hand loaded around 100+ bags of concrete with no complaints. Mr. Nelson with Matrix Construction assisted us in checking our roof to see if there were any leaks or problem areas. He notices a few areas that needed attention soon to prevent future problems. We decided to have him complete the repairs and we were very pleased with the outcome. He even trimmed one of the bushes in the front yard and trimmed back a tree that was close to the front of the roof. Nelson at Matrix is the true benefit of working with this company. He is a human, something missing from many of the contractors you may interact with. When my father was sick and I overnight took over responsibility for repairs, I had no idea what to do with a broken roof. Nelson understood my situation, repaired the roof within a day, charged me a fair price, and still checks in to make sure things are going well. A good business, a better man.

We hired Nelson to replace our old, leaking tar and gravel roof with a new membrane roof. I would highly recommend him to anyone having issues with their roof. My son’s closet ceiling fell in - ugh, what a mess! Nelson to the rescue. After an estimate from the “other guy” who stood in the backyard and sent his drone up, Nelson came over, within a few hours of when I called him, and got up on the roof himself (right after a rain storm!). He showed us pictures of the roof and what he thought was causing the problem: the damage wasn't obvious. So nice to have that small business touch - to talk to the owner, the one who would be doing the work. Best new yet, his estimate was half Mr. Other Guy’s! Needless to say, we booked him. Nelson did a great job, always in touch with kind communication. After he finished, he didn’t bill us right away; instead he waited until a heavy rain and then had me check to make sure the leak in the closet was truly fixed. Nelson’s a sweetheart and a pro. To top it off - he fixed some broken tiles on the front of my house (see pic). I didn’t even ask! That’s service.

He patched leaks quickly and offers good warranties on his work. He works with our schedule, and makes extra effort to make sure we are satisfied, as well as being very reasonable and beats the quotes we get from other companies! Highly recommend!
