From start to finish PHI was great to work with. Easy to pick out the design we wanted, materials we wanted, etc. When the crew came to our house, they were professional, respectful and had impeccable craftsmanship. Highly recommended!

I am 100% impressed with this company. They communicated well during all phases of this project. Everything was completed on time according to their estimates. The guys on the project were very clean, professional and respectful on the job site. Everyday they cleaned the area meticulously. Even my neighbors positively commented on this top-notch crew! I truly felt that all staff that i interacted with were authentic and honest. Their estimates and pricing was also very reasonable and market fair. I would absolutely hire them again, or refer them on to family/friends.

They stopped by to do a quick fix on our deck and were very friendly, helpful and efficient.

Excellent work. Love my new screens! I’m cheap and thought the quote was expensive, but after some research I found out it was a competitive price and turned out to be worth every penny.

The screened in porch and deck are absolutely beautiful. We knew what to expect because other neighbors had done similar projects but they definitely exceeded our expectations and we are so happy with how everything turned out.

We worked with PHI to build a 3 season, screened porch with vinyl windows. We started with a photo for inspiration and the team was able to execute on our vision. We couldn’t be happier with the experience. PHI took my questions and observations very seriously and didn’t question anything. They worked hard to resolve any worries.

Unfortunate experience with PHI Decks/PHI Remodeling. After a gung ho start and plans for a large whole house remodel project, we started with the simple small deck on the front of the house. Over 6 weeks of delay because PHI was unable to work with St Louis Park permitting and then a cost overrun of 10% that was not discussed with me prior to starting (just a "surprise" on the final invoice). I was also the victim of other projects taking "priority" over mine and no communication of such. It seems the larger project (which has had inexplicable cost increases of 30% before even starting) will have to go to another company. Too bad because the first impression was AWESOME! The deck itself is fine -- but I wouldn't say I'm thrilled with it.

One of the main things that has helped us survive 2020 is our new screen porch and deck from PHI Decks! We had planned this project before the pandemic, but could not imagine how useful this would be given the pandemic! There are several family events that we were able to have outside on the porch, including my parents' 60th anniversary party and an early October Thanksgiving. I could not have imagined how much we would use the new porch, and we absolutely love it!

We couldn't be happier with the porch and deck! The project turned out beautifully and was a good value. PHI listened to what we wanted and stuck to the budget. Communication was excellent and questions and problem solving were always dealt with promptly. During the build, other contractors commented positively on the workmanship.

We completed a major porch/deck/hot tub project with PHI Decks. I've worked with a lot of contractors and have never been compelled to write a review, but Tim and his team are worthy of praise. From design to execution, it was a great process. I highly recommend them!

We are so happy with our two decks! Brian was awesome to work with, and extremely patient as we made our final decisions on materials. The team did a great job installing over our existing structure and replacing any boards, taking great care in keeping the space clean, and even consulted with us on ideas to maximize space around our stairs. This project couldn't have come at a better time, as we've used the space nearly every day - making our stay at home feel more like an escape during this pandemic. The space provided us the ability to host an outdoor bridal shower, birthdays and other socially distanced events. It's easily become our favorite outdoor living space. We've already recommended PHI to several of our neighbors!

Brian, Tim and the team at PHI were absolutely amazing to work with. This project was 3 years in the making for us. Brian was patient with us, explained every detail before we (finally) moved forward with the new deck project, and the contracting process was thorough and transparent. Cost differences between bids and even the small things that were added as it was being constructed were very clear and well communicated.

As for the construction team, the crew was outstanding. They came when they said they would, they were courteous and respectful, and the craftsmanship applied to the deck is outstanding. Everything down to the smallest detail was done extremely well. Even after the project was completed, they came back and dropped off all of the warranty information and instructions, which we would have never even known about was it not for them being diligent and instructive on the process.

The deck was part of a larger backyard landscaping and sport court construction, and the other contractors have made numerous comments on the quality of the deck. They see a lot of other construction, so their words mean a lot!

Thank you to Brian, Tim and the entire crew for building something that we will very much enjoy for many, many years as a family. We would recommend them to anyone, and will be happy to serve as a reference if they need one!

Great experience working with PHI Decks! Our project was a deck, and we requested bids from several builders recommended by our neighbors. PHI got our business because of their thorough design, their ability to quickly make changes and create a 3D view of the project, and their willingness to spend time to educate us on various construction aspects: decking materials, footings, finish options, etc...
Throughout the project PHI kept good communication and finished the job as promised and within the contracted budget.

Brian and the team at PHI Decks were great to work with for our screened porch and deck build. They were very accommodating through the design process and were even able to provide cost saving options to help us stay within our budget. The 3D rendering is a great design tool to really envision your project and decide what you want.

The project was completed in a very timely manner, which is tough to do in the winter/spring months in MN. Brian and his team were able to accommodate some last minute changes and requests. And they have even stopped out since completion to make a couple small repairs we needed. Their crew was great to work with, very professional and courteous.

PHI did what they said they were going to do and did it very well. Given the issues with the pandemic (staffing/supply chain/etc.) I was very surprised how they were able to keep to the schedule as well as not have any cost over runs. Their team was so nice to work with, everyone we talked to from the sales people to the crew members were awesome. We have a wonderful experience with PHI and would recommend them to anyone looking for a deck/porch. Not to mention they were very competitive with pricing (we had three quotes).

We researched various companies, but once our neighbors finished their porch with PHI it was an easy decision to go with them too. The team led by Tim was exceptional. At our initial meeting, Tim listened to our vision and gave great recommendations. The process was seamless and timely. Within two weeks we had a beautiful three-season porch that exceeded all of our expectations. Importantly, the team did a great job cleaning up the worksite at the end of each day. They were always friendly and available to answer any questions we had along the way. Overall, PHI over-delivered and we strongly recommend them for any project.
