Deck Builder reviews across the US

Rick replaced old railings and decking on our porch deck. Him and his team were professional, friendly and did a great job. I couldn't believe how fast they got it done, in under a week we were enjoying our refreshed deck just in time for spring!

Perfect experience. Fair, honest and responsive in planning, showed up every day and worked steadily, completing my huge beautiful deck in just over four days. Solved a couple of awkward areas with good design input. Would 100% hire again. Thank you so much, Rick!!

30 yr old deck and front stairs replaced! Rick and Ryan were great to work with! Highly recommend!

Rick and his son did an awesome job with our deck! Super nice, very efficient, great price, and a beautiful result. Exactly what we wanted and more.

Rick just finished replacing our 25+ year-old deck, which was made of an early version of Trex. I must say that the old stuff held up quite well through all those years, but the new style is much more attractive, and we really love the way it looks. It was a pleasure to work with Rick on this project. He was reliable and knowledgeable, and he kept us in the loop every step of the way. On top of all that, he is the nicest person you would ever want to meet! Thank you, Rick for our great new deck.

Hired to put up a fence… simple fence 4x4s and 2x6 rails… probably the worst work I’ve seen done… already starting to lean over…. No call back from contractor… BEWARE DONT GO WITH THESE GUYS!!!!

We needed our front porch redone as it was falling apart. Mcgrath Carpentry gave a great price and was quick to start. Once starting they were done in 2 days with a tear down and rebuild. It looks great!! I would highly recommend this company!

I could not be happier with the professional and high quality of work thar McGrath Carpentry provided on our front porch. Beautifully finished in all aspects. Nice to know there are companies still out there that demonstrate old school values and craftsmanship!! Already discussing next project! Love this company!!

Kieran and his crew did a great job rebuilding my front porch. They were all very professional, personable, respectful, and skilled. I highly recommend Kieran and McGrath Carpentry.

I was very happy with Kieran's work. He responded quickly and did an excellent job, on budget and on time, during difficult times. He repaired two exterior porches and a balcony. Due to covid-19 I was unable to be on-site and relied on his honesty and integrity to look after our interests. I would highly recommend him.

Quality work, done fast, excellent workers. Did everything they said they would resulting in a beautiful deck.

Kieran is very professional and he did a great job on building us a pool deck and a pergola. I recommend Mcgraff Carpentry to anyone who wants quality work done by an honest and professional person. Thank you for giving our yard a great makeover.

I highly recommend Kieran ( McGrath Carpentry). Quality work- super responsive- high integrity- great value. We love our new patio and privacy fence!! I will not hesitate to call him for future projects!

Wonderful company, they were on time, and were here everyday until it was done. The work was meticulous and beautiful. The staff were respectful and kind. The clean-up after the job was perfect! Will have them back for all of our carpentry work!

We had a new composite deck and 75’ of wooden privacy fence built on site by Kieran and his Crew. Each and every member of his team were punctual, professional, and always willing to listen and provide feedback if either my Wife or I had questions or concerns during the entire process. I work as a construction manager/facilities director for several local/state/national landmark buildings around the country, and deal with contractors on a weekly basis. I’ve seen the best of the best, and unfortunately, the worst of the worst. Kieran and his Workers all are outstanding. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
