Worked with Nick to replace my old deck with a screened in-porch. Can’t say enough about what a great job Prime Decks did! Turned out amazing. As a part of the job I also got my roof replaced as well and they offered to write me a letter for my homeowners insurer which ended up lowering my annual premium, so that was awesome as well. Everything was so easy throughout the process and low stress. If you want a deck or porch in NOVA these are your guys!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Jake and Prime Outdoor Living to build our screened-in deck with an adjacent brushed concrete patio, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. He stopped by to check in during the project and after completion. Third – Reynaldo and his team had no problem working during the hottest days of the year and got the deck done in 4 days. They replaced damaged/rotten joists, made sure the deck was leveled, answered questions/accommodated changes. Our new deck looks amazing and we’re happy with our decision to go with Prime Decks. Nick gave me a very good cost estimate for a 12x22 deck that was better than 2 other deck companies. The deck was start on a Monday and finished up on Friday.

Nick did an excellent job in designing and redoing my 30 year old rather large deck with Trex. His workers were on time and Nick and Renaldo checked on their progress often. What impressed me most was Nick's communication skills. No question was left unanswered, he responded quickly by txt or phone.
I highly recommend him and his crew for a job well done!

I like that the owner is very knowledgeable and meticulous about his work. He has trained everyone of his team members to always be polite and clean up after themselves. First time ever writing a review--5***** and more!!!

Just had a 530 sq ft deck resurfaced by Prime Decks using Decorator boards--given that I had built the original deck and there were lot of angles to deal with and inset posts to work around and a great deal of trim work, I thought I would have to keep on top of anyone that I would be doing the work--soo not so!!!-- these guys are unbelievable pros--every cut was tight and on the money--they went the extra distance in shoring up any structural issues and using flashing tape to waterproof everything underneath--they cleaned up everyday and had the project done in the time they projected--the representative I dealt with--Nick Jantic--couldn't have been more pleasant or professional--I would give the whole experience more than 5 stars if I could but have to leave it at that.

Prime Deck did an amazing job bringing our old deck back to life. They replaced the old railings and staircase with high quality materials and it looks amazing! We cannot say enough about how amazing our experience has been working with Nick @ Prime Decks. He brought to life our backyard dream of having a screened in porch, deck, and stamped concrete patio. Nick’s cost proposal was in line with others we received, and he had much more experience and contributed ideas that others hadn’t thought of. This was a larger home project than we had ever done, and it felt comforting to be working with someone who had specific examples to show us that helped us envision what the back of our home would look like. The entire construction process went quickly (less than one month- even with rain delays), and we were kept informed about what to expect every step of the way. Nick was always responsive to our questions, and he kept the process moving along at a very fast pace. The final product is very high quality and looks wonderful! Nick even thought of some new ideas during the process that he implemented without any change to the budget or schedule. His team was always polite and professional, and they took care of the small details that make the space feel perfect. I’ve attached some pictures to show what Nick’s team built (we will landscape once the weather gets cooler). If you want to work with an experienced team who can create high-quality deck/patio/porch spaces quickly and at a very reasonable cost, then we highly recommend working with Nick and Prime Decks!!

If I could give Prime Decks more than 5 stars I would. The final deck they built me was absolutely gorgeous.

I actually drew up plans for a covered deck addition to my DC home back in the fall of 2020. I went through the permitting process with a different company and ended up having to release that contractor. It took 3.5 years with the original company and DCRA.

I hired Prime Deck after I fired the first contractor. Needless to say I had been through a lot with the project at that point but Jake and his team really supercharged the project and finally delivered far more than I imagined 3 years ago when I designed the project.

The quality of work was impeccable, the communication clear, and in they were very timely. I can't say enough good things about this company. They know what they are doing. They took my idea and turned it into something amazing. Here are just a few pictures:

We are so obsessed with the porch that Prime Outdoor Living built for us. It’s our favorite spot in our house, and everyone who visits us raves about how beautiful it is. It looks flawless - way better than I had hoped for. The process required patience due to weather and electrician delays, but it was worth it. Nick and his team really cared about making sure we were 100% happy with the end result. We didn’t go over the initial proposed budget at all and they didn’t charge us extra for a few minor requests we had during the process. Best decision we’ve made!

After receiving estimates from several highly rated deck companies—each with five-star reviews and > 50 testimonials—we ultimately chose Prime Outdoor Living, and we couldn’t be happier with that decision. One difference that set them apart from the start was Nick, the owner, personally coming out to meet us. The other companies sent sales representatives who delivered rehearsed pitches about features they claimed were unique—like deck tape on joists or framing lattice instead of tacking it up—yet every company offered the same things. Nick’s approach seemed genuine and he gave his input on what he thought his team could do to add to our vision.

From the first appointment, the team was punctual and professional. We explained our vision, and they returned with a clear, fair estimate (lower than their 5 star reviewed competitors). Like many homeowners with a big project (we have all heard horror stories), we felt a little nervous after making the initial payment, wondering when work would begin. Those concerns vanished quickly when the dumpster and supplies arrived, and the crew got right to work.

Our project was extensive: a large multi-tier deck where the lowest tier, nearly at ground level, was demolished and replaced with a beautiful patio, while the upper levels were resurfaced with Trex (with new railings) and our screened porch was refreshed. The team worked hard for full days. They communicated when necessary, but the estimate/contract was so detailed that questions were minimal. Their work ethic and craftsmanship were outstanding, and the finished product exceeded our expectations.
