We used Archadeck for our backyard covered patio. We couldn't be more HAPPIER with the final product. Mike England, Dave Block , Mike Homewood and Amanda were all great to work with. Whenever we called or text e-mailed we would get an answer or call back from them right away. Dave was awesome to work with he addressed any questions or concerns we had and made sure the crews were doing their jobs. He would visit the job site a couple of times a week just to see how it was progressing. Dave made sure everything went smooth and kept us updated on the work schedule he made it a pleasurable experience. I would definitely recommend Archadeck if you are thinking about a project.

Archadeck rebuilt our deck in only a few weeks, and it looks better and feels sturdier than the original. The online portal helped us follow our project from start to finish and made communication with the team so easy. Everyone was extremely professional and helped us plan a deck that would fit within our budget and structure of our house.

We hired Archadeck to replace our 20 yr. old deck which was splintering, cracking, and just looking awful. The design team came up with the perfect plan. The workers were fantastic. They cleaned up everything and hauled it away. We had one issue at the end that was addressed and fixed up just right. We couldn’t be happier with Archadeck. They did a wonderful job!

Communication was excellent. We used for them for a big project and Allie and Alex were outstanding! The deck came out perfectly. We couldn’t be happier and would use them again in a heartbeat! We did a screened in deck w 18 foot A frame ceilings and was a complicated job and it came out absolutely beautiful!

5 years after Archadeck installed our deck, the bottom step rotted for no reason. Archadeck came out and replaced the whole flight of stairs for the labor cost. Wonderful to find a company that stands by their product.

Potential customers should be sure to obtain an itemized quote including details and a breakdown of costs, prior to committing to Archadeck of Charlotte. Archadeck does not provide this, unlike their competitors. Lack of transparency and attention to details caused numerous issues with our project. We are pleased with the end result aside from an unresolved issue, and give high marks for the GM Mike, who was extremely attentive, professional and responsive.

Keith, Mike, Rebeca and Alex were a dream to work with! We wanted to re-do our deck, and screen part of it in and were overwhelmed with where to start. Enter Archadeck - after meeting with a few different companies we knew that they were the ones for us. Professional, communicative and thorough! If they said they were showing up at 9 am, they did. Mike answered all of our questions with ease and Rebeca and Alex kept us up to date on timelines, inspections and any hiccups along the way. We were one of the lucky ones that got it done ahead of schedule, so instead of 8 weeks we were done in 6.5! Just in time for Summer. Needless to say - we love our new screened-in porch and deck and basically live outside now. It has become a haven for us. Thank you to everyone at Archadeck for making this the easiest YES of our lives!

I've been putting off replacing my old rotting deck for so long mostly because I was dreading dealing with contractors of dubious reputability. Archadeck made that a complete non-issue. They laid the whole process out very clearly and were always able to answer any question I had and kept me up-to-date even when weather was delaying the project. There were no surprises or "gotchas" with any of the pricing. Even when they suspected that their might be a hidden expense that they would be unable to determine until the old deck was ripped out, they were very upfront about it so it wouldn't be a surprise. The build quality of their work seems pretty fantastic. I started the project somewhat concerned about water tightness as we were attaching the pergola to structure of the house but it seems they have taken every precaution to ensure that there would be no concerns. It was a much easier process that I was anticipating and couldn't be happier!

Worked with Archadeck of Charlotte over the past few years. They built a cabana off our existing pool and did a stellar job. Projects of this magnitude sometimes have an issue and when our floor needed some repair Mike from Archadeck stepped up and made it right. He communicated exactly what would need to be done to correct the issue, what the plan was to correct the problem, and the timeline for the job. Mike and his team provided updates every step of they way, finished the work on time, and made sure the job site was pristine when complete. I would highly recommend the team at Archadeck of Charlotte for any of your home improvement projects.

We had Archadeck extend out our porch so we could have a foyer to the entrance to our home. They did a fantastic job for us! We have received so many compliments for the completed work. I would recommend them!

Excellent experience with Archadeck representative Britt Hammett. Very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Their new showroom really gives you a good idea of what their materials might look like at your home.
I look forward to finalizing our plans and moving forward with this project.

We recently had Archadeck of Charlotte complete the addition of our three-season room and could not be happier with the completed project! Upon initial consultation with Mark, we questioned if we should remove the old deck and start new. After some discussion, we decided in the long run, it would be best to remove the old deck and start with a whole new deck to support the new room. Archadeck’s builder, Nelson and his co-worker, did an outstanding job in building our new deck and we highly recommend him on all future jobs that you contract Archadeck to install. Nelson arrived early every day, explained what he would be doing that day and often stayed late to complete the daily job. The positive attitude of the entire Archadeck team was a pleasure to deal with, from the sales team, office staff and the General Manager and his team, especially Allie. If we were to ever move and wanted a three-season room at our new house, Archadeck of Charlotte is the team we would call!

Project was completed in the time frame given to us at the beginning of the project. I liked the ease of using their project website to keep track of the schedule and payment. Our deck was a "re-deck" project which consisted of removing old decking and a few old supports. I was very happy to be able to just be able to remove the old deck boards and not have to start a brand-new complete deck. That was a main reason we chose Archadeck. All project teammates were very professional and courteous. I would recommend Archadeck for your deck projects.

Archadeck did a great job of closing in my screen porch with EZ-Breeze windows. They look great and we can enjoy our porch with no bugs! There were a couple minor hiccups with the project but the final result was great!

We hired Archadeck of Charlotte to upgrade our 25 year old deck from wood to composite ((TimberTech). After interviewing two other contractors, we decided on the Archadeck pros. “Deck” is literally part of their name and it shows in the professional application of their craft. Inexpensive? No, but you get what you pay for. Ours was a relatively simple re-deck, but as their salesman Mark told us, it is the type of job they do every day. Are we happy with the result? Absolutely!! Best upgrade we’ve made to our house so far. We highly recommend Archadeck!!

If I were to rate only the final product, I’d give it 5 stars.
Part of the reason we contracted with Archadeck was because we wanted to do business with a company that had resources, knowledge and experience as opposed to two guys with a truck.
The initial sales process seemed to go smoothly. We were having an outside kitchen built and Brett, the sales guy, told us to purchase a grill and have it in the garage and Archadeck would handle the installation. He recommended going with a Blaze grill. We did that.
When the project started, Archadeck had one side of our driveway loaded with supplies. Andy, the guy that built the kitchen informed us that most of what was delivered was the wrong supplies. But the wrong supplies stayed in our driveway until the end of the project, almost 3 months.
Part of the reason the project took so long was the weather and we understood that. But there was a full week where the weather was great, and nothing was done. Andy got sick and there wasn’t anyone who could stand in for him. At this point, we felt like we had contracted with two guys and a truck. We understand people get sick, but we thought that maybe Andy’s boss might fill in for him for a couple of days just to keep things moving forward. That didn’t happen.
When the project started, I contacted Brett and asked him to add electric outlets to the grill table. Later, I found out that the grill needed electricity. It surprised me that Archadeck recommended the Blaze Grill but didn’t recommend adding electric to the grill table.
As the project was ending, the grill was in place:
    1. I needed the grill serial number to register it. They were on the side of the grill that was inside the table.
    2. I found out that I needed some cotter pins removed from the rear of the grill to be able to clean it properly.
    3. And lastly, I needed a gas hose connected to the grill so that I could connect a propane tank.
Andy had the grill box in his truck and was able to send me a picture of the serial number.
Archadeck initially informed me that they couldn’t help me with the cotter pins or the gas hose.
After too much back and forth, Mike the General Manager and Lucas the Construction Manager came to our house and assisted with both the cotter pins and gas hose.
For the cost of the project, Archadeck should have provided better customer service and not acted like two guys with a truck. The process was painful.
    The final product is wonderful!

    Addition:
At lease they addressed one of the issues that we encountered.

    7 months later:
I'm changing the 3 stars to 4 stars.
Some of the travertine tiles had come loose and some had gotten uneven. I contacted Archadeck and they quickly sent two guys to correct the problems.
The guys did a fantastic job and cleaned up afterwards. Good job!

I’m thrilled beyond words with my new deck! From start to finish communication was awesome. Every question answered, workmanship and attention to detail top notch. Mark designed the new deck, helping me make the best choices of colors and materials. I decided on composite decking, increased the size, and widened and re-routed the stairs for safety. Mason did a fabulous job coordinating everything. His friendliness and hard work earned my trust and respect. This was a smooth project and I’ll enjoy the deck for many years!

Our experience with Archadeck was very positive! We had called Mark two years ago to get a quote on a screened-in porch/deck. He came out and discussed ideas - suggesting a design we had t even considered. We loved it, but unfortunately our financing fell through.
Fast forward two years, we secured financing , called Mark back, and we picked up right where we left off. The crew, especially Armando & Fernando, were professional and did good quality work. Communication from Archadeck was fairly good overall. When we hit a snag with our dirt, they walked us through the process and were upfront about the additional charges.
We absolutely love our new outdoor space and look forward to enjoying it for many years to come. Archadeck gave us a dream come true with good quality work. We highly recommend them for your next dream project!

We're thrilled with our new deck and now can't wait for warmer weather to get out and enjoy it!. Archadeck customer service was above and beyond, craftsmanship of the build is excellent, and the crew cleaned up everyday. We highly recommend Archadeck of Charlotte!

Archadeck of Charlotte is easily one of the best contractors I've ever hired. I was hoping to expand my deck and give it a refresh and Archadeck delivered on all fronts.

Mark Norton was our sales representative. He always communicated clearly, responded quickly when I had questions, and at no point tried to upsell me on materials or options. He knew my budget and respected it throughout the project.

We were always told when someone would be on site to do work without us having to ask, and told what to expect next. When the project was done, everything was cleaned up and a member of the team walked me through every aspect of the construction and gave me time to ask questions or voice any concerns that I might have had.

I've already recommended Archadeck to a family member and will continue to recommend them in the future. They've been extremely professional from the beginning and have exceeded my expectations.

My fiancé and I bought a new house about a year and a half ago which had a deck that we could tell was built by Archadeck from some of the plaques. The deck is probably 15-20 years old and so there was an outside corner which was coming apart. Finally, earlier this week, I reached out to Archadeck about it over the phone and provided photos through email. We set up a time to have someone come look at it. Mike came out yesterday morning and had the entire corner fixed in 10 minutes. Looks much better now and is sturdy as it should be. Although it wasn’t a large job or anything, I wasn’t charged for the work. I have a ton of respect for companies that take pride in their work and know the value of what they do, and Archadeck will always have a good place in my book because of that simple action. I’ve worked with other companies in the past who did something comparatively simple for me and charged $1,000+ for the time and labor. Will definitely follow up with them if I ever need anything done to the deck in the future. If you’re considering working with them, I’d definitely recommend it!
