Jewel Construction is a fantastic company. We have a tiny backyard behind our home here in Brooklyn. This year we decided to try & improve the space by installing a deck. Jewel was hired for the job & WOW! Our backyard has been transformed to an urban oasis! Jewel’s price was incredible. His work was timely & meticulous. More than that he was full of design ideas & solutions which opened up our limited space. We are almost ready to have family & friends come over & enjoy our upscale outdoor patio. Thanks Jewel!

I hired Jewel to update my disaster of a kitchen and put down a cement patio in my backyard. My kitchen was a bit of a tricky job but they exceeded my expectation. Jewel did an excellent job of explaining all the available options and helped us choose a design we loved. Jewel Construction removed and replaced our old backyard deck and the lattice along the back wall. We are very pleased with their work. Throughout the process the owner offered several useful suggestions and was prompt and responsive to our questions. The crew showed up on time every day and got to work immediately. They were polite, professional and cleaned up afterwards. Even with a day of rain they finished the job ahead of schedule. We are delighted with the final result and will use them again.

We hired Jewel and his team for a home renovation project to remove old wood paneling throughout half of our house. Jewel expertly handled the demolition and installed new Sheetrock, transforming our outdated walls. During the project, he also replaced old electrical wiring that were discovered behind the paneling, ensuring everything was up to date and safe. The end result was stunning, and we couldn’t be happier.

Jewel is a person to have on your team. From the beggining, when I met him, there was a quality about his work ethic, responsibility and taking a project to the end that defined him as trustworthy manager/visionary. Jewel Construction was a referral from Home Depot. We decided to use them to rebuild our deck because of their previous projects, which matched up with what we were looking for. The owner, Jul, showed up on time for all appointments. His crew is very capable, and extremely polite. I was involved in watching the project from start to finish. They took all of my questions and concerns seriously. We are completely satisfied with the entire process which took less than 2 weeks from estimate appointment to the project finish.

I am pleased to update this review and report that Jewel has now completed 4 projects with us, for a kitchen, pantry, bath, and full basement renovation. The kitchen, pantry, and bath renovation projects were key to getting a great sales price for our condo, and the full basement renovation of our house has added a significant amount of valuable living space.

Jewel and his team renovated our backyard this year, we had a concrete deck in bad shape and broken concrete angled towards the house. Jewel worked with us to make our dream a reality to have a beautiful new steel and bluestone deck and bluestone patio with drywells and a natural stone wall. We couldn’t be happier with the results! Jewel and his team did a great job on all aspects of the multi monthlong project and was certainly the best contractor experience we’ve had since becoming homeowners! I just stepped out of one of the two newly renovated bathrooms completed by Jewel Construction, and the quality of their work impressed me so much that I felt compelled to share this review.

From summer through fall, Jewel Construction transformed two bathrooms down to the studs, completely rebuilt my mudroom, and refreshed my backyard with a new fence and beautiful travertine pavers.

The entire team was a pleasure to work with—respectful, attentive, and always willing to help. I’ve owned my home for nearly three decades and have worked with many contractors, but this is the first time I truly felt partnered with a company that cared deeply about the outcome rather than just speed or profit. We've hired Jewel Construction Company for two projects. The first was a deck renovation, which turned out beautifully! This second project was more complicated, the demolition of an existing, but dated full bathroom. We live in a co-op building so it was very important that the contractor minimize the noise, dust and inconvenience to our neighbors. Jewel and his team did such an amazing job! Our neighbors gave them very positive marks and we love how our bathroom turned out. Jewel asks questions, offers solutions and cares about the details. We're thrilled with the end result and his crew's thoughtful care. Highly recommend.
