We are extremely pleased with the deck addition project completed by 13/10Reno. Matt, Jessica Ray and Steve were experienced, knowledgeable, pleasant and professional. Work quality and attention to detail are outstanding. Highly recommend the company and will use for future projects.

We used the services of 13TEN Renovations to demolish rotting porch posts and rails and replace them with new 4x4s, wrapped in cedar boards. We love the transformation of our porch! Jessica and her team were phenomenal! Jessica was so helpful in defining our requirements and coordinating tasks. She was easy to contact in order to answers any of my questions, and she followed up with us frequently during the time work was being performed. The crew was friendly, professional, tidy, and highly skilled. Because of the excellent craftsmanship and reasonable pricing, we will definitely call on 13TEN Renovations for future projects.

Great company! The contractor they hired was hard working. Our project had a few setbacks in the beginning from start to finish we signed contracts and made a deposit in October of 2024 and the project just ended. Plans took about 10 weeks, which placed us in about December timeframe and we did have some permit issues with the county. Overall the actual construction took about 3 weeks. The company was very good at overcoming obstacles with the county. The contractors are what really made this a 5 star review. When they showed up they worked and were friendly. It really made a big difference. The only downfall was communication but once I brought up that communication on the project was lacking the site manager was sure to keep me updated on the project. I would 100% recommend this company.

13Ten built a new porch for me. The only glitches in the process were caused by an official at Chesterfield Health Department. Once the demolition started every thing fell right into place. The workman were awesome and their craftsmanship is top notch. It was a special treat to watch them turn raw lumber into a work of art.

I hired 13/Ten to install a 2nd floor balcony. My 1st contact was Matt he was very knowledgeable and helped me decide on my design, and gave me a fair quote, I collected 3. He was very professional and easy to work with. Then there was Lin, honest hardworking experienced builder. He was always punctual, and neat in his work, great guy! And then Jessica who keeps the crew moving. She was very nice and honest. I would highly recommend 13/Ten, and I will be contacting them for my future projects. I'm very happy with their work and my balcony. I'm still waiting on door from another company.

Really enjoyed working with Jessica and John throughout the whole project. The pricing for the project is reasonable. Jessica has been great to work with and answered all my questions and concerns promptly and I never felt I had to chase them to get an update or answer to my question. We are thrilled with the TimberTech deck that 13/Ten Renovations built to replace our 32 year old wooden deck! The crew was hard-working, professional, friendly and efficient, improving upon the original design with creativity and skill. The company management was flexible, honest and accommodating. We would definitely use them for future projects.

We are excited about the way our composite deck replacement turned out. We got a lot of quotes since this was a large project (~900 ft2) with a unique built-in pond feature. Their quote wasn’t the lowest or highest, but was very fair. They were willing to provide references which we checked out. Unlike many of the other contractors we visited with, we felt Matt was very knowledgeable and willing to work with us to tweak the design to insure we were happy with the final result. That turned out to be the case. Jessica was very easy to work with as well. We never had any communication issues. The people constructing our deck, Ray and Steven, were perfectionists and their attention to detail shows in the final result. They always showed up for work as planned. We are entirely pleased with their excellent work. We enjoy our new deck with the separate sections for different uses (one for grilling and dining, one for relaxing on a swing, and the other for sitting, relaxing and enjoying a morning coffee while watching the fish. We particularly enjoy the pond feature. We are very happy we selected 13ten and highly recommend them. We will use them again.

13/Ten revamped our screened porch to make it maintenance free! From beginning to end, every part of the job was professional and beautiful! Communication was excellent. Any challenges were discussed openly and solved. The finished product is something we should enjoy for many years! They also reworked the ramp to our tool shed. They dug footers, and it is now also maintenance free. Well done!

This has been the first contractor I’ve hired that actually exceeded my expectations. And I typically have very high expectations. Not only was the fit and finish of the deck boards, stairs, skirting and railings perfect, but the water management and structural framing was above and beyond. They worked extremely well to accommodate any minor requests I had, and communication was excellent from the PM and owners. Jessica is extremely knowledgable about their products and even mentioned going to Timbertech learning sessions so she’s always keeping up with changing building practices.

13TEN Renovations put an absolutely beautiful new deck on our house in Salisbury. Jessica was fantastic, answered all our questions, and kept us informed on every detail throughout the process. Our crew was wonderful, no one smoked, or played any music while they worked. Our rescue kitties, who growl at everyone, sat by the windows and watched the builders. The deck design is extraordinary, from the drink rail to the steps, to the design of the boards on the deck floor, we could not be any happier. 13TEN is such a great company, we have nothing but accolades for them. After a 6 month search for the right contractor, I finally found 13TEN. I did four “interviews” and Jessica was clearly the right choice to build me and my family our dream screened in porch and patio. Out of all the contractors I talked to, Jessica consistently listened to our needs and desires and executed our vision. She went above and beyond with things like finding 20/20 mesh screen that met Henrico code so that we did not have to have balusters on the bottom portion of the screen. She was the only contractor who was willing to do an A-line roof instead of a slant roof. She listened and when we disagreed we worked out an amicable compromise that we both felt comfortable with. 13TEN crews/contractors were excellent, punctual, polite, professional, and knows the construction business. Finally the patio, which is true craftsmanship, rounds out a beautifully done project that family and friends talk about.13TEN was a pleasure to work with and we will use them again on any additional projects we might have.

Thanks to Lee, we can now enjoy our back yard without all the mud! Along with his team, Lee created a beautiful stamped concrete walkway and patio that we will enjoy for years to come. He is professional and available when needed—both highly respected characteristics of a contractor. You can count on him to do the job right and efficiently.

Lee and his crew exceeded my expectations. My yard was an eye soar. He installed stamped concrete and prepared it for a pavillion. The job was Awesome!!! I am going to have him and his crew come back to do more work for me and I will refer my family and friends. Great work at a Great Price!!!

Lee was a great resource for us. He was prompt, knowledgeable and even helped us with a change in the permit. He got the deck completed in a very timely fashion. He gave us great service great pric.es and we would definitely use him again.

Lee is the man! He responded immediately to my inquiry and came right over to review and give a quote. Which was super reasonable and detailed. He and his team showed up right when he said they would and finished within the time frame given. Any post construction little issues that popped up Lee came right over personally and rectified them.
Very very happy with the work that was done. In short, Lee does what he says he will do. That’s a rarity these days. Use him and don’t waste your time waiting on anyone else to even return your calls much less show up.
