We had a dead tree in our front yard that needed removal. Of the 4 or 5 estimates we received, Stein was the lowest by far. The team came out to remove the tree today and it was done quickly and safely. The team was friendly and professional, and the yard was nice and clean by the time they left.

Great experience with Stein Tree service. Matt was very professional and knowledgeable. Everything was thoroughly explained, quote was provided. Matt followed up multiple times to make sure it was convenient to do the job. First team removed my trees quickly and cleaned everything before they left. I would like to especially thank a gentleman who removed the stumps. )I believe his name was Alfonso but I could be wrong.) He called multiple times before coming to do the job. Also, he cared about the lawn and went above and beyond to manually remove all the leftover chips, cleaned everything and was very professional. Not to mention that it was very hot and humid.

I've used Stein a number of times and it's always a great experience. I have used them for tree pruning, tree removal and emergency tree removal for a tree that came down during a wind storm. Pricing is great and they took care of my emergency tree removal super quick.

Highly recommend! Matt is super-responsive and estimates the job with great detail. There are no surprises and they care for their customers yard. It was supposed to rain when the job was scheduled and we easily rescheduled for less than a week later. Very happy with the company's leadership and in-office staff and the crew as well. All around positive experience and would use Stein Tree again.

Great company! I had major tree trimming done. Matt was very professional. He came right out to the house, did a walk through and emailed me the quote within a half hour. The service crew was scheduled roughly a week from receiving the quote. They came early, did a walk through and had all the proper equipment to get the job done right. They did not mess around. Once a branch hit the ground it was dragged off to shredder. They left the yard cleaner than before. I highly recommend.

The “spider” crew removed 3 dead trees in the yard to our new house. They were nice guys and incredibly fast getting the job done. I also really appreciated the front office’s quick response, flexibility, and professionalism when we were under contract and needed the tree work quoted.

Stein Tree has done work for me for several years. After Mr. Stein retired , I have worked with Matt who now manages the business. He is responsive, knowledgeable and does good work. If there is a problem, he addresses and resolves it promptly as was case recently with trimming red twig dogwoods. Recommended.

Stein Tree was the most efficient company for me. Their operations should be copied. Everything was in my backyard, and they said they would be in the area the next morning, so they could do a visual estimate without me there if needed. I had an e-mail estimate hours later. The Spider crew came right on time and made the job look easy as they methodically did the work.

I've used Stein before. So, I didn't waste my time shopping around. I contacted them, they got right back to me. The team removed a tree that was threatening power lines, so they were appropriately cautious. They did a great job. They always do.

Stein Tree Service always does a great job at a reasonable price. I recently needed their services to clean up storm damage and to prune the tree that dropped the limbs. Matt responded within a day, gave me an estimate, and assured me the work would be done that same week. Rich and his crew did great work. They arrived on time, and with great care and efficiency, took care of everything. I always recommend Stein to my neighbors and friends.

Meticulous work and outstanding service, above and beyond expectations. Worth every penny. The "Spider Crew" was professional, efficient and highly skilled. Cheerful too, I might add, and patient with my boyish curiosity at all the cool equipment!
They removed a full grown, dead ash in tight quarters - overhanging a power line, in a hilly backyard with narrow access between houses to get there. They were careful to work with low impact on my and my neighbors' properties. And when the tree was down and the wood cleared, the crew raked and used a leaf blower to clean the entire property - front, back and side. It looked better than when they arrived!
I plan to hire Stein and the Spider Crew again next year for similar work - ash borer has killed off other trees on my property.

Stein Tree Service has been doing our tree work for 25 years. Matt, the business manager, is responsive to customer questions and concerns. We had several large trees pruned that shared property lines and required skill. The crew that did our job included Naheim and Alfredo and they did an excellent job, checking in with us to make sure they met the terms of the contract and our approval of the completed job. The property clean-up was great. Looking forward to working with Stein again on all our tree service needs.

Always good! I have used Stein for years. They are not always the least expensive, but competitive. What seperates them is they do it the right way. Work safely and dilligently and do whatever they can do to cause the least damage they can. They are flexible to what you need - all gone, want some firewood rounds left behind, etc. And clean up well. Thanks - nice job - always the first call for tree stuff. $$ wise hope don't see you soon, but when need you always good to see you :) Thanks Matt and team!!

Jose and his Spyder Crew were absolutely amazing. It was a pleasure to see 3 men work together with such efficiency. When 1 of the men needed assistance with a particular task, another would come to his assistance. After helping that individual, they would go back to their task without losing a step in what they were doing. I can describe Jose and his crew in one sentence.

We had one Ash Tree removed and work done on an additional eleven trees, a busy day in our small suburban yard. Jose and his crew did an excellent job; it was easy to see a camaraderie among the team and they were all friendly and good humored. Jose arrived early to discuss the work plan. He was considerate of our neighbors' needs while managing his crew, and climbing the trees, making excellent decisions that will add to the health of the trees. The clean-up was fully completed with no supervision. We had met with a number of companies before selecting Stein. We went with the Stein Company based on Matt’s and their Arborist’s knowledge and ability to communicate with a knowledge base that gave us confidence. It was a bonus that their price was competitive. Scheduling was easy.

I had a tree removal, they showed up promptly in the morning, took down the tree in an hour or less. Cleanup was perfect. Very happy.
Next day, stump removal, ( Alfonso) Showed up promptly in the morning, worked hard did an amazing job was very polite, everything cleaned up nicely an amazing job.

I cannot recommend Stein Tree Service enough. We had crew 5/ Jose's crew and they were so thorough and professional. They got right to work and did an amazing job clearing out two large trees from our narrow back yard. The cleanup was way more than I expected. Great job to the crew! Thank you!

Last night we had a heavy wet snow that brought down a tree right across the driveway. It's a Sunday and they came out within a couple hours with bobcat type equipment and a wood chipper and finished and cleaned up in less than 30 minutes. And then they plowed the rest of the driveway I wasn't able too earlier. Wow!
