I made an appointment for the Stroebert Arborist to come to my home and was given a 12 Noon - 2 pm appt. for 7/17/25 (today). I called them at 1:45 pm.
I was told the Arborist got an emergency tree fall call… and it may be an hour later. I said fine. I get a call 10 minutes later and Stroebert Tree Services tells me the Arborist says traffic is bad and he can’t make it today.

I have a few questions:

1. When you have a 12-2 pm appt and you’re at an emergency call that puts you far behind- shouldn’t the Arborist have the professional courtesy and consideration to call me vs me having to call 15 minutes before his arrival deadline?
2. Don’t call back with a new “EXCUSE” about bad traffic when if that was the ”TRUTH” you would have told me that during my first phone call.

ADVICE- Learn how to treat “potential customers” with common courtesy and respect - their time is also valuable.

I was referred to Stroebert Tree Services by my next door neighbor. I will tell them about my experience and how I was treated… and that I would never use Stroebert.

The receptionist who answered the phone was wonderful and extremely polite. She was just the messenger in this event.

Got several quotes, and Strobert had the best price. More importantly, they did fantastic work. Took down a huge tree close to our house with no issues. Would definitely hire them again!

After the last big storm, we knew Strobert was the one to call! We used them a few years back and once again they delivered. As expected, they was very professional and showed great respect to our property. The way they rigged the lines to lower the trees piece by piece was impressive, and safety was always a priority. Thanks again for a job well done! Highly recomend!

We had a backyard tree that needed trimming, and someone from their crew came out and explained everything clearly. They showed up early and got to work right away. They’ve done a few houses on our street before, so we trusted them, and they didn’t disappoint.

All around, great service. They provided me a fair price and adhered to it. The trees look great now that the cleanup is done.

We super happy with the job Strobert did! Took out a tree and grinded the stump in our backyard. Mike gave us a great price and they got the job done just one week later. Exactly what we wanted. The team was very friendly, professional and they left the yard clean. Also, we asked to keep some mulch from the stump grinding, and they left it just like we requested. 10/10 will hire again!

Called these guys because we used them before and they always do good work. They brought a crane and a full team and somehow got it all out without wrecking anything. Even cleaned up our neighbor’s roof. It was wild to watch. You want it done right, this is the crew.

Strobert Tree Service went above and beyond for us. We had multiple trees in our backyard that were overgrown and needed trimming, plus one that had to be completely removed because it was dead. From the estimate to the job itself, the entire process was seamless. The crew was polite, hardworking, and very careful around our property. They made sure to clean up every last branch. It’s hard to find companies like this that care about their work and their customers.

Had a couple trees pruned in our backyard. The crew was polite, fast, and explained what they were doing. They also made sure to avoid our garden beds which I really appreciated. Will definitely use them again.

Mike gave us a fair price for taking down a big Willow tree and grinding the stump. The workers was super nice and very professional. They got the job done quick and cleaned up everything after. Will definitely hire them again in the future! Thanks Mike and team!

My neighbor hired Strobert to remove overgrown brush and a wooden swingset from his yard. When I arrived home I saw the discarded swing set in my front yard, not theirs.  I called Strobert to find out when the material would be removed and explained that it was discarded in my yard instead of the neighbor where the work was being performed.  I was told that it would be either that afternoon or tomorrow morning. I did not want the trash sitting on our lawn for a long period of time because I knew it would kill the grass, so we moved the material to my neighbors lawn a few feet away. My neighbor’s daughter helped me move it.

As we were moving the material, I could see that some of the posts had been pushed into the ground causing ruts and holes that were at least 8" deep.  It appeared that they were embedded by equipment running over it.  There were tire marks running across the entire front of my lawn and into the neighbors yard.

I called the office again and told them about the damage that was caused and was told they were on the phone with my neighbor discussing the issue. My neighbor’s daughter came over after the phone call and told me that someone was coming from Elkton to get the waste that afternoon.  When they arrived, I told them what had happened, as explained above.  They seemed to be in agreement with me as to what had happened and seemed upset with the person who had performed the work.  It appears that topsoil and some sort of seed pellets were laid by the crew who picked up the trash.

The lawn can be repaired.  What doesn't make sense is that their employees could have easily accessed the neighbor’s yard from their driveway and just as easily piled the waste in their yard as we did.  Instead, they made the choice to unnecessarily use our yard with total disregard for any damages it would cause. We are out all of the time and effort expended to correct this problem and will need to invest more time in repairing the lawn.

When I emailed all of this info plus info to Strobert, I was told that there would be a meeting with the owner and the crew and the would get back to me within two days. A week later, we have not heard anything from them.

Had one tree trimmed and another removed today. Happy with the results. They cleaned up everything, which I really appreciated. Price was fair. Only thing, wish they had called when they were 10 minutes out, but no biggie. Good crew.

I needed a large, dying tree removed from my backyard, and Strobert Tree Services gave me the best price and the safest solution. They used professional equipment, and their team handled everything with care. I’m very impressed with their work and customer service. A+ company!

Happy to leave a review for this service. I’ve used other tree companies before, but Strobert is by far the best. They worked fast, treated my property with respect, and left everything spotless. Their pricing was fair too. Highly recommend!

They came highly recommended by a neighbor, and now I see why. The crew was skilled, respectful, and finished the job faster than expected. One thing I’d note is that the invoice was a little unclear about what was included, so I had to double-check before paying. A more detailed breakdown would’ve helped. But the quality of work and cleanup were excellent. I appreciate their professionalism and would call them again for future tree work.

We recently had a large tree removed that had been leaning over our driveway for years. We hesitated to take it down because we thought it would be a complicated and expensive job. Strobert Tree Services made the process seamless. They gave us a fair estimate, and scheduled the removal quickly. The crew was friendly, hardworking, and extremely knowledgeable. They made it look easy without causing any damage to our driveway. When they were finished, the area was spotless. I’m beyond impressed and will absolutely use them again!

It's quite straightforward to set up. They called ahead, got there on time, and completed sooner than I thought they would. The guys worked quickly and picked up every branch.

On a beautiful Saturday morning, we heard a loud crack and a very large oak tree in our backyard unexpectedly fell to the ground. Amazingly, the tree missed nearly everything, including our neighbor's house. After PECO cleared and restored the power lines, we contacted 3 companies for quotes. We selected Strobert to remove the tree as their quote was competitive and we've used them before. This time, we also opted to have some additional tree work performed, all of which was done very well. The crew was nice and contentiousness - they even reseeded our backyard before leaving.

We had Strobert come remove a huge tree that was hanging over our garage, plus trim some other trees over the house. The crew were excellent!! The arborist took time to explain everything, how and why they doing it that way. They was also very respectful to our neighbors property too. They showed up on time, did all the work just like they said, and cleaned up really well before leaving. If we need tree service again, no doubt we calling them! I tell everyone about this company!

I called about getting some tree trimming done and the arborist came out pretty quick, like within 2 days. He also told me about their mosquito spray option which I didn’t even know was a thing. The crew showed up the next week, worked hard, and the trees look great now. Way better view from the window. Only thing I’d say is I wish they gave a heads-up before showing up—but all in all, great service.
