I thought Jerry Pugh was friendly. I wanted new recessed can lights put in our ceiling. When I told him about the job, he said I had bought the wrong can lights and that he didn’t think he could get power through the ceiling to my attic. He assessed, looked in my attic, and called someone about the job. He then came back to tell me there would be no access for power in my attic. He did cut some old wiring out of my basement. So after 2 hours and $180 later, my initial job request wasn’t going to be done and it cost me a lot of money. Is this reasonable practice? I was annoyed that Jerry did give me any other options for these lights to go in my ceiling. Maybe this is no way they could do it, but it wasn’t very reassuring. I think an assessment first at no cost would have been helpful.

Big shout out to Action Electric, Inc. Who had nothing but super cool and very professional people to help me out. They even worked with payment allowing me to be able to pay for the service, and it was done sooo promptly.

Brooke was awesome with communicating everything to me and even set up the electric company to turn my power back on after installation and inspection from the city( which they also took care of).She called me today to ensure everything went smooth and my power was restored. Tim was awesome doing the entire service change and even shared his lunch with my dog so she'd let him in( traitor 😂). They showed concern about my food!(asking if I was able to find a way to keep it cool.) Even the technician I spoke to ( Adam?)who couldn't help since this happened on a weekend and supply stores are closed provided enough information, where I had an idea on what to expect and how to go about it. This in turn allowed me to focus on taking care of my kids, my pets and keeping anything from spoiling( minus what I lost lol). Will 100 percent have them help with any electrical needs. Super happy with the end result!

P. S I thought my fish died, but he's good. Lol

Worst company ever!!! I do not usually do reviews. We contact this company for some breaker box problems in our home. The tech they sent took apart the entire breaker box and stated that he would need to come back the next day. Left the box all apart and never came back. We have to hire a real electrician to fix their job and the job they said it was was at the pole which the electric company was responsible for. Action stated that they used a part off their truck and charged us 225.00 for that. Never happened!!! When it was all said and done the power company fixed the problem and we hired an electrician to fix Actions mess they left. We did receive one bill. Totally forgot about it with all the problems we were having at the time. They stated they sent many reminders. Well that may be so but they have to make sure they are sending it to the correct person. Totally had our last name wrong. My neighbor is the one that got the bill from the collection agency and brought it to us. No calls nothing from this company. The lady working the front desk is not the kindest person. And to her- in business you need to be kind. That is how you keep customers- you never know what kind of day a person is having so make sure you are kind. I am more then happy to pay the extra 12 dollars to the collection agency just so I do not have to deal with this company ever again. I own many rental properties and this company will never be visiting any of them again. They could not even tell us the part they said that they used off the truck. There are many great electricians in Billings. Not Action!!!

I’ve always had a great experience with Action Electric. Everybody has always been friendly. I’ve called them for several projects over the years and will continue doing so. Always a great experience from their team; from calling Brooke at the office, to Brian coming out giving suggestions and giving me a good quote and answering questions, to Jeremiah (and his apprentices) coming out to do the work. Any time I have work I need done I ask for Jeremiah, great guy and does a great job. Will be using them in the future for sure.

They don't clean up any messes they make along the way.They leave sawdust and drywall dust everywhere on your counters in your butter dishes with butter in them they don't care about nothing. They could have at least had me notified so I could have moved some of my stuff. But they don't.

A couple of gentlemen from action electric came to my home today and took care of a couple of jobs I needed done. Both were extremely friendly and got the jobs done in a timely fashion. Very reasonable cost wise. If I need an electrician again I will sure go through action electric again.

I've had Action out to my house a couple times now. These folks are super timely and supremely fair priced, and what I really love is how their techs always take a bit of extra time to explain to me what's going on. As a homeowner I like to learn as much as I can. — Also, I gather that as a company they're really education focused. Sounds like they've got lots of apprentices and journeymen and teachers and they're really invested in training and sending good electricians into the community. That's groovy. (They even north/south their plate screws, for that careful touch.)

Have always had excellent experience with this company. Always makes sure things are done professionally and to code, is very knowledgeable and gets things done in a timely manner. Never have had anything to complain about. Would highly recommend Seeley Lake Electric.

They had electrical done for me for an older commercial building and did a great job! Never did I worry about them not finishing. Finally all the rooms have heat :) I recommend that you use them because it is family owned and the owner is hands on which oversees most of the works!

Professional. Personable. Knowledgeable. Honest. Alvis Electrical came to my house on short notice and resolved the electrical issues quickly with excellent results. The job parameters were discussed prior to start of the job. Pricing was well explained in advance with no "surprise" add-ons. Pricing fair and competitive for this area. Wiring conduit was placed neatly maintaining exterior appearance of the home. My go-to electrician for any future projects.

Very quick response, constant updates on arrival, quick work rewiring the range plug, and doing the extra on installing the new range in place. I cannot recommend Alvis Electrical enough. You can bet I will call on them again when I need help!

Alvis Miller was terrific to work with. We received our new Tesla without having a means to charge it. Of the services recommended by Tesla to install a charging station, we found that at least two of them are companies that plan the work and then farm out the work to someone local. Customer service was awful. Alvis returned my request for information promptly and we scheduled a meeting for the next day. Two weeks later the charging station was installed. Alvis and his apprentice did all the work. He is competent and very knowledgable. I recommend him without reservation for installing a charging station or for any other electrical work needing to be done.

I am a senior citizen and feel I was being treated as if I was their grandmother. Very respectful and efficient. They fixed my problem with ease and helped to deal with my Home Buyers Warranty associate.
They should be your first go to whenever you think of an electrician.

Needed help with some wiring and breaker work in my house and gave them a call. All the guy told me was, “I’m too busy to do it” and hung up lol. Try someone else if you can I suppose…
