I want to give a huge THANK YOU to Solar ME and share my story to help others. When I began my solar journey, I went with a national company I found online. Unfortunately, they didn’t handle the installations themselves but relied on third-party contractors. Everything seemed fine until the company I purchased my system from filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy—after completing 90% of the installation and receiving full payment.

At that point, I had all the equipment but no way to activate the system. I managed to navigate the process with my township and electric company to finally get it running. However, within weeks, I started encountering multiple issues. Turning to the manufacturer’s website for guidance, I found a list of certified solar companies. After calling several, most of them refused to work on systems they didn’t install—except for Solar ME.

From the very first call, Solar ME was professional and helpful. They dispatched a technician the next day to assess my system. The immediate issue was resolved quickly, but during their inspection, they uncovered deeper problems caused by the original installation:

The panels were installed incorrectly, with improper brackets.
The electrical connections weren’t covered, allowing rain to cause frequent system outages.
The panels weren’t labeled properly.

We had such an amazing experience with SolarMe! After consulting with a couple local solar companies and getting the same sales pitch after sales pitch, we almost had given up hope on going Solar. Finally I reached out to SolarMe, and met with a salesperson who knew the science behind solar energy, who was able to answer even our more technical questions, and who never once employed any of those high-pressure salesperson tactics.

Solar Me was great to work with. The process of obtaining a proposal (estimate), designing the system, obtaining permits, and installation was very straight forward, and the Solar Me staff guided you every step of the way. The installation process was a multi-day process but was well coordinated and the crew was very respectful. They are not the cheapest option but given the costs and complexity of a solar system, I did not want the cheapest option but rather went with their history.

I would not hesitate to recommend them.

From sales to installation, they made the entire process easy and professional. They use top tier Qcell panels and Enphase micro-inverters. We had them install an Enphase backup battery as well. Andy and his team had us up and running. We had minor issues and they came back to check on us.

Other companies might be cheaper but you'll find they lack service or they'll subcontract the installation and you won't hear from them again. We have no problems recommending SolarMe.

Like many have already stated, Solar ME has been a pleasure to work with from start to finish!

The salesman brian is so rude. I was under contract and he is telling me to not contact him or text him for questions or concerns just because he feels it overwhelming. I generally don’t write reviews, but he said this multiple times and in a very rude manner.

Worst customer experience ever received !!!

Solar Me installed Solar on my garage on Feb 2022. The whole process was excellent.

I had a special situation where I had a detached garage with no obstructions on the roof. I also ordered 2 batteries.

Solar Me gave me a very competitive price that the others could not match. They showed up on the day they said, and completed the work in the time frame they promised. All permits and time tables were exactly as described. The price they wrote on the estimate was the price I paid. There was no "extras."

The installation was clean, without any ugly pipes showing. You don't think this is a problem, but if you look at other installers, some of the jobs are very poorly done. People walking by still compliment me on the job that was done.

I had a few questions after the installation that were handled quickly. If you call, they pick up. Since the installation everything has worked.

I do highly recommend them.

Doing business with SolarMe was an absolute pleasure. From the sales process all the way to the installation process, they were professional, timely and clean….everything you would want in a company. After a year of our full roof replacement and solar panel installation, we are saving money and have had zero issues. Highly highly recommend!!!!!

I spoke with about eight solar companies before going forward with SolarME. I chose SolarME because they seemed to be the most professional and knowledgeable - there was no pushy sales tactics.

They kept me informed along the way, organized a roof replacement that was completed by a very professional sub-contractor, and the solar install itself looks great and was very smooth. Literally everyone I've spoken to from the company has been professional and knowledgeable.

Solar Me installed my home's solar for 96% offset in August 2023. Price was competitive, scheduling of install was quick, installation was 2 days, inspection was passed no problem. They took care of all of the paperwork for PTO, state rebate, and even provided a reminder invoice and blank IRS forms for the federal rebate in the following year. The team was professional, and PTO was 47 days from PSEG but the SolarME components and documentation were provided immediately after install. They've been responsive to follow up questions, and continue to follow up with me on state programs which are still on hold due to delays with the state.

I requested that they be very careful with my 50-year metal roof, no penetrations, and they were very aware during the sales process and careful during install, following all requested guidance.

I highly recommend Solar Me, and if I ever move and wanted solar again I would absolutely call them first.

The whole solar process was fantastic. Treated me like I was their only client. I loved the down to earth and HONEST explanation to the whole process. They were on top (no pun intended) on the whole project from the start and kept me informed continuously.

Solar Me installed our solar in 2021, 49 panels. They are very professional and definitely reliable. Their proposal was the most reasonable cost that we received from different solar companies. They provided adequate understandable information about solar, the benefits and the installation process. They guided us in all the steps making the process so easy all throughout the installation. They took care in completing all the requirements, funding and submitting all required documentation with the township, State, and utility company. The solar that they installed definitely helped with our monthly utility bill. It’s been over 4 years now and no issues so far with the quality of their work. We are very satisfied with their work.

Engaged with SolarMe after speaking with several other vendors and ultimately went with them for our roof replacement and solar install. Bill & team have an up-front, no-nonsense approach to everything they do - and this went from initial consult through turning on the system.

At every point they were thorough, professional, gave great advice, listened to our specific needs (we threw a few curveballs) and they came up with solutions for everything.

The various install stages (roof, powerwalls, panels, configuration, inspection and ultimate turn-on) all went flawlessly - and even though dealing with several different folks during the various stages - all consistently thorough and professional.

Cut to today - got our first full monthly bill with solar - just the $6 connectivity fee and via net metering we are banking KwHs with the grid for future usage. Our neighbors across the road (also with solar) are bemoaning the fact that it didn’t cover their entire need - not so in our case! Bill even put me on to a Tesla rebate that I had no idea about and just got confirmation of the $1000 debit card issued by them.

Recommend highly and unreservedly. If you’re thinking of going solar - you couldn’t do better than Bill and the SolarMe team.

I was told about Solar Me from a friend after checking 3 other solar companies in the South New Jersey area. I spoke to Bill Maier who was thorough in explaining what would be best for my house and the amount of electric we normally use. His proposal was better than the other companies for what I was hoping to have installed. The project was completed at the end of August so we are excited to see how well the panels work during the late spring and summer months.
