Per a home inspection report, my home needed to have a ground rod installed. I contacted Thomas Edison to get an estimate of the cost. Prior to then I had no idea what a ground rod was, but electrician electrician James Clevenstine arrived, explained in layman's terms everything I needed to know about a ground rod. He then inspected the area in and around my electrical box, as well outside to determine where best to install it. After locating the area of installation, he provided a reasonable estimate. When I was ready to have the work done. I contacted Thomas Edison again. Prior to the electrician arriving, I received a call from Steve, I believe, that the electrician was on the way, and another call from him to inform me when the electrician was at my door. That was a great touch, I appreciated it. The electrician, Ken Stride was very pleasant, personable, and confident about the task. He got right to work, finished within a reasonable time frame, and did an excellent job. He pointed out the areas of the installation, I am very impressed with the job. Overall Ken demonstrated that he is a master electrician. I recommend Thomas Edison to do your next electrical job!!!

I had the pleasure of using Thomas Edison again today. They came out hours after calling, replaced my track lighting with an even better one at a reasonable cost. James was pleasant, and professional. Thomas Edison is the best!

Patrick and his colleague were very professional and efficient in evaluating our request to add a new outlet for a dishwasher that had been previously hardwired into the electrical system. He arrived on time, provided a quick estimate for services, and completed the services within an hour. YOU NEVER REALLY WANT AN EMERGENCY ELECTRICIAN, BUT WHEN YOU DO, CALL THOMAS EDISON ELECTRIC...

We were in need of an emergency electrician the Thursday afternoon prior to Easter. A rain/windstorm topped a tree that pulled the electrical wires from our home. I started calling local electricians, but just got answering machines...until I called Thomas Edison. I was told that they could accommodate the job--that afternoon!

Shortly after my initial conversation, I received a call from Steve, the dispatcher, and he assured me that one of their electricians, Kenny, would be arriving by approximately 5:30. Steve called again at 5:15 to let us know that Kenny was on his way. By 5:30, Kenny arrived, assessed the job, provided a written estimate and began work by 6:00 p.m.

The job was completed and electric restored by 7:00 p.m. Kenny was friendly, courteous, professional, thorough, and explained what the job entailed.

Overall, our experience with Thomas Edison Electric was 5 STARS. I highly recommend their services….they offered distinguished Customer Service! Thank you Steve, Kenny, and Thomas Edison Electric!

Really fast response time. I called to make an appointment and someone was sent the same day. The only thing is that it costs $95 just to come look at the work to be done and if you’re not satisfied with the quote you lose that money. It is a pretty big risk but we were in a bind so we had to trust we were given a fair price. Work done was great so we were satisfied. Good customer service. Very friendly.

I appreciated the quick response to my phone calls and the thoroughness of the discussion. Even before coming to check my electrical, Thomas Edison had a lot of the information needed to make the inspection successful. The master electrician who came to my property did excellent work... not only thorough and thoughtful, but carefully explained to me in layman's terms. I cannot praise this firm enough. Excellent customer service.
